Very helpful!👍🏻 I also liked that you showed the entire process including several ideas that you ditched or corrected because you felt they weren't good. This coming from an expert like you makes me, a beginner in Canva (an enthusiastic one!), realize that this is normal and it's not just me... 😁
I don't care who and what they write in the comment section here, as for me, I really like it when someone explains something in a decent, detailed way. It's very annoying when a content that is important and interesting to me is cut to a minimum, just to make it 3 minutes long... because in this fast-paced world, that's all anyone needs... Then anyone who is really seriously interested watches everything 10 times and stops the video 20 times... Very well done, thanks for this comprehensive content! For those who find it long, they should suffer watching other videos and rewinding everything 20 times, and "if" they manage to solve it, they won't learn anything, because they won't be able to do it once again by themselves! Thank you very much, it was extremely instructive, I didn't have to rewind X times, just paused it here and there and everything was done in one go. By the way, all your videos are brilliant! 👍 Edit: If someone is using his/her devices in "dark mode" (many many people do so), then I think it is worthwhile to choose the "color scheme" so that the black letters are not pure black, but may greyish, for example, so that everything is visible in "dark mode" as well. Also, in this case it might be worth checking the "transparent" option when downloading, so that the email signature is not blindingly white... I'm still testing, it's a theoretical question for now, because many email clients adapt the colours, i.e. invert them... but I'll try it and see! Thanks again for the detailed great tutorial!
Hello dear, and thanks for the detailed feedback you provided I agree with you, our videos go deeper, and it sure isn't for everyone, but that's the choice we've made. Also, great point for those using Dark mode.
Love it! Though saw something about this on the official Canva youtube channel, but I personally prefer your tutorials more, because they are more detailed & high quality. Thanks!👌
Thank you so much Vaibhav, yes it's important to mention your sources. So many creators just take or copy other people's content. We don't want to do that.

Oh man! Where was this last month when I designed my email signature. I had several failures before finally getting my links to work. Well when I need to update my signature this tutorial will be very helpful. Thank you!
Hey Ronny, I just made my email signature by following this tutorial. I didn't add any pictures. Just my name and social media links. Thank you for the video.

I love this tutorial🤩! Thank you! (tip) I had some trouble uploading the image into Gmail because I kept getting the blue square with the question mark. Then I tried to copy the image and then paste it into the signature and this helped.
Loving the stock photos of you on the side! So funny! 🤣 Also, I appreciate this tutorial, as it follows the thinking a designer would have when faced with this task.

Really great tutorial this and I now have a great signature, thank you very much for this. One thing I would say is thou is that the vid could just show how to do it the right way the 1st time that would be good. It would save me making it twice 😬
thank you great tutorial. We would like a black background for our email signature, so I'm trying to figure out a design so the extra social media buttons dont look like an add on :-(. I think the buttons work best with a white background.
15:06 Wow! that step was very helpful. It adds a little brightness and it looks like an outline, I loved it that was super helpful. THANK YOU RONDI 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😄😄🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you for explaining WHY the email signature has only one clickable link and thus the creating the social media icons. PS - I watched Sandee before you! 😊
It would be muuuuch easier if we could export an HTML file from canva. Exporting as a website or prototype creates a mess of a file, unusable as a signature.
I agree with you on the export as an HTML file. But I do not agree on the "unusable signature" bit. I've been using mine, created in Canva, for month now and it works great.
Hi, I loved your tutorial, just one question how do I set the signature on my smartphone? I did try to find some way, but it seems that I can use it only on my mac. Again thx for amazing tutorial hope you will find time to answer me :) have an awesome day
Same here, it looks like the signature isn’t available when sending an email from your phone, but if you have properly set it up in a computer, it should be at the end of every email. Even those sent via your phone.
Hey Ronny! Thank you for your helpful video. I followed all your steps (and my signature is almost identical to yours), but for some reason, when I use it, it looks pixelated. Do you know how I can fix that? I tried changing it to different sizes and still no luck. Thanks!
I'm not entirely sure. If you go through the thread of comments on this video, you'll see that people are struggling with the same issue, and my solution 😉
Thank you for this amazing valuable tutorial which I was able to recreate for my businesses with a Gmail account. However, what happens when you have a Business Gmail, ie with your domain name? It is not allowing me to import the image. It requires only a URL and the Canva URL does not work. Help or suggestions! please 🙏
I followed your tutorial. So helpful. But my signature doesnt appear when i am on my iphone mail app & also on my mail icon on my mac. The signature appears when i access my email from the browser.
hey! thanks so much for this video! helped me to create an email signature for my client! the only thing is when I upload it to gmail it becomes blurry. do you know why and how to fix it?
I saw several people commenting about the same problem: their image getting blurry. The only answer I could come up with, since I cannot reproduce the issue, is to create a higher resolution document by multiplying the dimensions. I hope this solves the problem for you 🙏
Thank you so much for your video. I have been struggling to find a solution for my email signature. However, i have a problem regarding the quality of the PNG, i have respected the size of 600x200 adviced by Sandee and 50X50 for the icons but the pixel quality is not as good as yours??? Help please! Merci
We made a newer video about email signatures here, maybe this one will answer your question: ua-cam.com/video/9VzNEtraVXQ/v-deo.htmlsi=CP_XLZp0AKFxRlm_
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was exactly what I was looking for. Everything worked great, but the resolution of some of the text and images seems low. Any tips on why that would happen? THANK YOU!
This could be due to the very small size of the documents ... you could try larger dimensions and then see if the images are scaled down when you upload them to Gmail 🤔
Love the video! I design email signatures for clients often. They are not tech savvy. Is there a way I can export the gmail signature with clickable links so they can upload and its ready to go or do I need to get into their gmail account and "build" the signature there?
Hey there, I have personally experienced this problem: my emails are often seen as spam from other people ... but that has to do with my website hosting (which also provides the email accounts). I doubt it has to do with the email signature.
I’ve seen many people complaining about the resolution at that size. If that doesn’t work, I always suggest they up the size of their Canva documents to higher dimensions.
Great Video, thanks for making this tutorial. I'm running into one hiccup. I also changed my size to 400x125, but when i upload the PNG image to gmail signature, my image and text is blurry.. Any ideas why that would be the case?
I've seen several users complaining about the same issue... unfortunately, I was never able to recreate the problem on my side. I always recommend them to use larger dimensions, but I'm not sure if this fixes the problem. Sorry.
This is a great tutorial. I created one in canva, however, when I downloaded it as a PNG the download looks blurry. How do I fix this? It keeps happening. My email signature is 600 x 200 px
Ronny, this tutorial was perfect, really useful. I would add a link right at the bottom of my signature image at Gmail. I would add a linktree shortened link, because I don't have a website yet. But this way you've shown is too much better! And thanks for the kind reply on my last comment (your previous video). I'm so happy with the courses, and so excited about the future updates. My next purchase will the branding course! 😊
We always do our best to reply to every comment here Eleonice, as we really want to build a community around our content 🤩 I think you could give Canva a shot to create your website, we now have a couple of videos about that on the channel, make sure to check them out, Canva makes it really easy. The Personal Branding Master Course is by far my favorite course of mine 😎
@@TeamRonDi You guys are amazing! Man, I've watched your tutorial on how to build up a website at Canva and the last one Diana released, they're are really detailed and real gemstones! The thing is I still don't have a consistent brand style. I've been working on that, I've improved a lot, but you know when you have that feeling that something is missing? Because of that, I really want to do your branding course. I've found a video you released last year on how to build a brand, and that's the kind of thing I need to build my own. I'm sorry for the huge comment, I guess I got a little out of hand here. 😅😅😅😅
Hey Peg, glad you are learning with this video. As per the fact they look blurry on Outlook, I’d try bumping the resolution (dimensions) of your document before you start designing.
Super Useful, thank you. Although in Gmail for me it won't let me highlight the image and add a hyper link, it only lets me add with text and then its highlighted in blue and underlined which kinda spoils the look! Any advice ?
Such a helpful video! But I am having an issue with the social media icons underneath... I am using 3. In the set up section they all look great and lined up but when I save and open test email it bumps one totally out of whack. I can get it to work for 2 but not 3. I must have spent 4 hours yesterday trying to fix this and I just. cannot! Its driving me crazy!
Hey there, Sorry you run into that. Make sure the icons are small enough? Maybe that’s what’s causing the misalignment? Hard for me to say without “looking over your shoulder” 🤔
I have the pro Canva account. I want to be able to use email signatures with multiple clickable links for Outlook 365 vs Gmail. Will this work for Outlook 365 as well?
Hey Ronny!! This tutorial is amazing but I am facing an issue, whenever I insert the image as a Gmail signature the image gets blurred. The image has at least 3 logos in it. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this.
Thank you, Ronny! I have a problem with Canva: The image downloaded (same size as in your video), is quite pixelated and doesn't appear as high quality as in your video here, so it's useless. Larger pictures are still pixelated while occupying more space, which is not the idea neither. What might be the problem? I use canva pro on a mac pro.
Super helpul!!One little thing only..At the mobile&ipad preview screen the position of media icons changes! They are going non centered. In my gmail signature settings it seams all good and centered. How do i fix it?
OK thats fair enough! Something else that i have problem with is that th picture of my signature which is only my name calligraphic , is that it is pixeled.I have tried the size 400X100 and all other possible sizes but the result is always pixeled@@TeamRonDi

Hi Ronny, thank you for your wonderful content. Can you tell me does this work for outlook ?
Hi,
TBH I never use Outlook, so I couldn't say ...
What a great explanation. Thanks
Glad it was helpful Laura!
thanks Ron ❤️☺️☺️ really appreciate hard wrk.
Thanks, and we appreciate the support 💛
@@TeamRonDi Can you please guide on : How to become a canva certified creator or a canva certified expert ?
This is a great tutorial. I created one in canva, however, when I downloaded it as a PNG the download looks blurry. How do I fix this? It keeps happening. My email signature is 600 x 200 px
I'd try with larger dimensions 🤔
Thank you! Helped me a lot!
You're welcome Nouhaymen!
Thank you. So PNG is fine for signatures?
Yes, absolutely
@@TeamRonDi Why do my designs done in Canva look blurry in my gmail then?
Will this easily transfer from email client to email client? I am having so much trouble with Apple Mail and Outlook.
We always do our best to reply to every comment here Eleonice, as we really want to build a community around our content 🤩
I think you could give Canva a shot to create your website, we now have a couple of videos about that on the channel, make sure to check them out, Canva makes it really easy.
Excellent!! I learned SO much!!
My only hangup is I'm putting this in Outlook and when I download it, the images are blurry. I"ve tried every option, to no avail. Any thoughts?
Hey Peg, glad you are learning with this video. As per the fact they look blurry on Outlook, I’d try bumping the resolution (dimensions) of your document before you start designing.
@@TeamRonDi That’s great advice. Thank you, I’ll try it!!
Super Useful, thank you. Although in Gmail for me it won't let me highlight the image and add a hyper link, it only lets me add with text and then its highlighted in blue and underlined which kinda spoils the look! Any advice ?
That's weird.
It worked fine for me (adding a link to an image).
Could you check again 🤔
@@TeamRonDi Now its working, then not, a glitch! but thanks for coming back to me, appreciated :)
Awesome. I learn alot because you guys
Great to hear that Angel 💜
Such a helpful video! But I am having an issue with the social media icons underneath... I am using 3. In the set up section they all look great and lined up but when I save and open test email it bumps one totally out of whack. I can get it to work for 2 but not 3. I must have spent 4 hours yesterday trying to fix this and I just. cannot! Its driving me crazy!
Hey there,
Sorry you run into that. Make sure the icons are small enough? Maybe that’s what’s causing the misalignment?
Hard for me to say without “looking over your shoulder” 🤔
Hi there! I love this video but for some reason my signature is showing a bit blurry. What should I do?
The only thing I could think of is to create it in a larger dimension.
I use canva pro on a mac pro.
vey useful! Thank you
Glad it was helpful Damian 🙌
Thank you for all you do!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much. I went to the other channel and subscribe. Cheers to you both
Thanks for subscribing 💛
Super helpul!!One little thing only..At the mobile&ipad preview screen the position of media icons changes! They are going non centered. In my gmail signature settings it seams all good and centered. How do i fix it?
Im not sure how to fix that. It’s hard for me to say without “looking over your shoulder” 😅
OK thats fair enough! Something else that i have problem with is that th picture of my signature which is only my name calligraphic , is that it is pixeled.I have tried the size 400X100 and all other possible sizes but the result is always pixeled@@TeamRonDi
Thank you. Very Helpful.
Happy I could help Teasha 🫶✨
Great tutorial! My social media icons look blurry in my signature at 50x50. Any idea how to fix this?
You can always try to bump the resolution (size of the canvas).
I have the same issue@@TeamRonDi
And that solution doesn't work for me :(
Appreciate this so much!!
