So good! I really like your new style of tutorial - especially for the Google form header: you show the finished header, the template form with the color, then the page with the grid and gradient. Kind of like cooking when you mise en place and have the ingredients ready to go - the steps were still clear, but putting the parts together was streamlined. I also appreciate seeing the search terms for the stickers, since finding elements can be a bit of a challenge. The use case is really helpful to get us going in the right direction for doing these kinds of websites. Building out these landing pages will be such a big help in my business for sure. I can imagine they would be super helpful for lead magnets as well. Thanks for this 🤗

It seems the number of people who enjoy our content in that longer form is greater than the ones who wish it were shorter 😊✨

Hi Gary, You are probably right about these platforms being able to create clearer landing pages and, on top of that, have more features built-in like forms. My opinion is that I’d love to have it all in Canva, meaning my designs, videos and marketing tools. I think this is where we are heading, but we are not quite there yet. The platforms you mentioned are several years old, Canva websites launched in 2022. I’m curious to see what we’ll be able to do with them in a couple of years 🧐

Hi there, thanks for your kind words 🥰 There's no native feature on Canva to do that, but you could achieve a similar result by hosting your giveaway on a cloud storage platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and link that file to the confirmation email that goes with your Google Form.

For now Canva websites are single page scroll down websites. You could link several websites together with buttons, but that would be a workaround, not the proper way to do it. I believe Canva will continue to build the website features in the future, but they just launched a bunch of other products, so … patience!

Though it is technically possible, I wouldn’t do it this way. There are better solutions out there for selling courses like Teachable, Kajabi or even Udemy and Skillshare.
Have a look at Calendly which lets you create a calendar and allows people to book time slots with you. It also has some payment methods integrated. You would create a Calendly event and then link it to your Canva website via a button ☺️

1) yes 2) the items on the menu are the names of the pages. 3) you can use the link to page option when you use the “Link” button 4) yes, you can link anything as long as you have a URL 5) Websites have some basic analytics via the “Insights” button. Some might be for Pro users only. Hope this helps 😊
You probably could, but Typeform will require some sort of subscription I believe. I will look deeper into Typeform and try to create a tutorial about it 😊
That must be because you don't yet have access to the new Sites features. These are still in BETA, meaning: not launched publicly yet. So only a fraction of all the Canva users already have it, with many people still not having it... Patience 🥺

I like canva. I can be super productive with it. Within one week me and my team could finished 8 to 10 websites. Thats 2 per day. Some of us, including me are even collaborating remotely. That is great. But the downside of website created with Canva is that we cant put Google tag in it. That is a major blow when i found out. But fear not. Now i have all my design teams to be very productive designing websites visually. And We have the prototype up and running within couple of days. So after all designing is done, it will be handed over to the coding team, which will put the coding to the "real" website using wordpress or wix or whatever they use. and attach google taging in it. This is in a way streamlining our workflows. Still I hope seo and google taging will come to canva soon. Cheers, Keep up the excellent job Team RonDi. Thank you.

Hi Rosemary, Unfortunately Canva doesn't offer this kind of feature at the moment. You could manage to make it work, by uploading your giveaway to a platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and add a link to download it in the confirmation message people would receive once they fill up the form via Google Form.

Amazing tutorial! I was successful on the first attempt. Would you be able to advise on how to add a lead magnet? For example, Would I be able to attach a pdf in exchange for a email?
Canva doesn't offer the full mechanism of capturing emails yet ... so you'd have to rely on a 3rd party software like Google Forms or Mailchimp to do it. You would create your form or landing page with one of these platforms, generate a link for it, and use that in a button on your Canva website.
Hi, great tutorial, thanks. I have one question having made a capture page and linked it via my Canva website. In some instances when you click on the link to go to the form it asks the person they much log into Google Docs. Any ideas how to stop that happening?

You would have to check if you could customise the email people receive after they submit their form. If you can (I haven’t tried) you could include a link to download your freebie there.

It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background.

We use a combination of QuickTime Player to record our screen and OBS to record our talking head + Premiere Pro & Canva to edit.

You can either have that page on your Canva website or not, but for now, you cannot hide pages on a website.

1) yes
2) the items on the menu are the names of the pages.
3) you can use the link to page option when you use the “Link” button
4) yes, you can link anything as long as you have a URL
5) Websites have some basic analytics via the “Insights” button. Some might be for Pro users only.

You can’t install the FB pixel for now, and Canva Sites should be SEO friendly. So the content of these Sites will be scanned by Google.

You probably could, but Typeform will require some sort of subscription I believe.

That must be because you don't yet have access to the new Sites features. These are still in BETA, meaning: not launched publicly yet. So only a fraction of all the Canva users already have it, with many people still not having it... Patience 🥺

I like canva. I can be super productive with it. Within one week me and my team could finished 8 to 10 websites. Thats 2 per day. Some of us, including me are even collaborating remotely. That is great.
But the downside of website created with Canva is that we cant put Google tag in it. That is a major blow when i found out.
But fear not. Now i have all my design teams to be very productive designing websites visually. And We have the prototype up and running within couple of days. So after all designing is done, it will be handed over to the coding team, which will put the coding to the "real" website using wordpress or wix or whatever they use. and attach google taging in it.
This is in a way streamlining our workflows.
Still I hope seo and google taging will come to canva soon.

Unfortunately Canva doesn't offer this kind of feature at the moment.
You could manage to make it work, by uploading your giveaway to a platform like Dropbox or Google Drive and add a link to download it in the confirmation message people would receive once they fill up the form via Google Form.

Amazing tutorial! I was successful on the first attempt. Would you be able to advise on how to add a lead magnet? For example, Would I be able to attach a pdf in exchange for a email?
Canva doesn't offer the full mechanism of capturing emails yet ... so you'd have to rely on a 3rd party software like Google Forms or Mailchimp to do it. You would create your form or landing page with one of these platforms, generate a link for it, and use that in a button on your Canva website.
Hi, great tutorial, thanks. I have one question having made a capture page and linked it via my Canva website. In some instances when you click on the link to go to the form it asks the person they much log into Google Docs. Any ideas how to stop that happening?
Make sure you are using the public link of your Google form. Not just copying it from your URL bar.

In this case, does google Forms give an option for me to upload a freebie and for people to download it via google form after they enter their email addresses? Or do you have another option?
You would have to check if you could customise the email people receive after they submit their form.
If you can (I haven’t tried) you could include a link to download your freebie there.

It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure your green screen is properly lit and an effect called ultra key that we use in our editing software (Premiere Pro) to get rid of the background.

I chose to do it via Google Form because it's free and everybody can access it. Mailchimp is great but does cost money.
