My cold water delta bathroom faucet was tight. This faucet was only a few years old. I looked for a way to remove the faucet, and I’m glad I watched your video before I forced something. The base, easily , turned counterclockwise like you said, and the faucet and base came out. I sprayed in some silicone spray( there’s were no visible deposits), and it went back on without a hitch. Easiest plumbing challenge I’ve ever faced thanks to your clear, concise video!
I seriously can't thank you enough for posting this! I have the exact same faucet and it was super stiff. I knew the posts under the handles had to turn, but was afraid I'd do it wrong and break them. I actually used silicon spray for under the handle and inside to lubricate and protect against corrosion.
I have what looks like same faucet but it was frozen and handle just would not come off. It was 10 years old so decided to purchase a new one at $109. Yours looked fairly new so worth cleaning it up.
Now I get why my identical faucet has been stuck for quite a while. I had a plumber look at it who said: : jeah, that's not worth fixing. You have to replace it." Replacement for new faucet $110. Labor quoted $550. I said, what? that's 50 bucks less as the charge to move an kitchen island sink, faucet lines, refrigerator water line, dishwasher and plumbing extensions 2 feet back! Why is this price so high? I saw him hunt for a reason. He came up with "well, because the company guarantees the labor so everything must be new." Wow, I must look gullible. I told him that the YT videos show items are easily repairable for the cost of labor and nominal parts. I sent him packing and dropped his so-called guaranteed plumbing services. Thank you and all the people like you for saving us from shisters thieves and sharks.😊
My problem is different. The bottom part of the right handle moves with the top part. I took it apart, cleaned with 1:1 water:vinegar, and still cant get the bottom part to stay still. So I removed the left handle, then installed it back and it worked. I have a feeling something broke in the right handle 😢 Thanks for the video! Lots of health
Thank you so much. This video really helped me. The base was turning with the handle. It is fixed now. Thank you
Great, glad I could help. It's annoying to deal with when they stiffen up.
We have this exact faucet and the exact problem. I'm excited to try your fix today. Thank you.
No problem, I hope it works for you!

Awesome, glad I could help!
can you use clr?
CLR is more powerful and effective. Vinegar is safer and can be left on longer.
Very very best video ever seen on this particular situation thank you so much...Sharing this ....
No problem and thanks for the kind words!

You’re welcome and and good idea using the silicone spray. That should do the job!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
No problem!!
After you remove the screw you have to pull hard to separate the lever from the rest of the handle.
Ahhh, interesting. Thank you for the input!

Tried to take the faucet base off, but it wouldn't release. 🤷🏼♀️😤
They can really get stuck with mineral deposits. You can always put a rag on it and use pliers! Just be careful to not scratch the surface.
“Calcification” - say that three times fast
Ha! I'll pass!
