Wow. My exact issue. This gentlemen got straight to it. No hypotheticals, no talking without demonstrations, not background music, kids in the shot etc. fixed my faucet in the same time it took to view this video. Nice Job Sir!
This was my exact issue. Great video. This was straight to the point with no “Entro Montage,” no overbearing background music drowning out the voiceover, no explanations without showing the work, no fancy camera work, just a simple fix-it video that made me look like a hero in my wife’s eyes! Thanks! Only issue is now she thinks I can actually fix things and is making a list. 😂 I guess I better subscribe to your channel! 👍
Thank you for your help. I had this problem on my Moen kitchen faucet, it squeaked pretty bad and was hard to turn. Bought HEX SAE Keys and some silicone faucet grease and it worked like a charm.
Excellent video! Thank you for posting. Question for you. Do you absolutely have to use "Silicone Faucet Grease"? Or can you also use a similar "greasing/lubing" type of product (ie: WD40, etc.)? Thank you for your anticipated response!
Great video & explanation Clyde. I have similar problem with Moen's single knob faucet. It is very hard to turn. Can you suggest some ideas? I have changed the valve stem but that did not help. Thanks.
Thank you for a very clear explanation. I have a similar faucet and am trying to fix this exact problem. When you got the the part where you used the phillips head screwdriver, was it tricky to unscrew? My handle seems to be stuck on the base despite unscrewing. Thanks!
I just saw that same grease when i was at the store getting a valve stem. I'm about to go back and get some, but mine started moving a little better just from me taking it offf and putting it back on. I see a little dirt or build up both on the inside and outside
Thanks. My faucet is the opposite! I changed the cartridge but after a few days the handle seems to go further & further away turning when I try to stop the water! Do I need a new handle or the cartridge installation is not right? The handle is supposed to stop turning/ circling when it comes around half circle.
Great video. My cold water side is hard to turn. So I turned it counterclockwise (is that correct for the cold side too?). I could get the bell shaped thing and handle to turn toward faucet, but not counter clockwise. Now what is happening is it moves easily but the handle and bell thing move togther to turn water off and on. The bell thing should be stationary. What am I doing wrong? It works but don't think it right. Would like to fix correctly. Thanks so much for the excellent video
I was able to turn the cold side to take it off. Was able to do it easily by hand. When we tried with the hot side, it was very hard to turn the base. Used a strap wrench and it was turning, but still hard. It never raised up from the base. I could have turned it 100 times and it doesn’t turn up off the plastic nut thing. Any idea how together this off? Figure the plastic nut is stripped.
for me it is impossible to loosen the faucet handle.this faucet has tighten up so much and even with the strip wrench i don't get enough grip to get it loose
Thank you, Clyde! I had an identical faucet ( saw it for the first time ) but the escutcheon was so seized it did not want to move. I am very strong yet... it would need a wrench. Idiotic design!

Finally someone who deserves a UA-cam channel and explains straight to the point with no unnecessary blah blah blah blah. Thanks 👍

0:43 - any tips to loosen the handle ? ours seems pretty tough unscrew with just hands
Spray white vinegar at base..and use a Strap Wrench...
I have the same issue, very hard to loosen too
Excellent video! Thank you for posting.

Great video & explanation Clyde. I have similar problem with Moen's single knob faucet. It is very hard to turn. Can you suggest some ideas? I have changed the valve stem but that did not help. Thanks.
Thank you! Was able to fix the faucet handle so it works as good as new!
Excellent!
I have the exact faucet; great job explaining the process!!😊
Hi. Will silicone or waterproof grease work the same? Thanks.
Thank you for a very clear explanation. I have a similar faucet and am trying to fix this exact problem. When you got the the part where you used the phillips head screwdriver, was it tricky to unscrew? My handle seems to be stuck on the base despite unscrewing. Thanks!
Thx.....Sometimes they may stick from build up of minerals...might spray it with vinegar water.
God bless you for getting to the point quickly!!
You're good at explaining, thank you
It’s a shame you stopped posting. This channel definitely has big potential.
This is exactly the video I needed! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!

Would the same logic apply to a stuck brass laundry tub faucet?
I was able to do this easily on my own! 😊 Thank you!
Great job! Glad to hear it !
Thanks-that helped me correct the same problem on my faucet.
NICE!!

I'm here to fix a loose bell/collar (? The part between the handle and base) for the cold water too. Did you find a solution?
@@thejewelrylady6400 No just been using it that way so far. Would be nice to get a response form some expert on here though. Good luck

Can i use Wd40?
No!
Thank you - very well done and appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you sir for your awesome informative video
You just saved me a bunch of money. Thank you!
This helped me immensely. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
What if the handle assembly is too loose and rotates too far to shut off the flow?
Could be the cartridge assembly is worn.
This is a great video! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

I have the same problem but my bathroom faucet does not open from the base and has two parts, handle and base, delta brand.
Sweat Jesus thanks to this man and his content!

Idiotic design!
Thx for the comment! Gotta Agree !!!

No Problem!!!
Great video
Thx! Glad this helped!
And here I was blaming my 5 yr old for damaging the handle lol.
Lol!
Same, lol.
Completely abnormal behaviour, stupid as hell.
The challenge I have is I can’t get the cover off?
Switch off all handles don't open
Switch off my issues don't open
too much hand shaking.
thanks bud
No problem 👍!
Thanks!
Thx! Much appreciated!
