I used to play office only in around 2016~ and man was it fun, and i made a lot of friends and good relationships. I quit in around 2018 due to just boredom, but somehow a lot of my friends list still only plays office and they’re still grinding it out to this day

I've played like 10 matches in a row in office in the last 4 days, I encountered everyone: the noobs, the tryhards, the trolls, the kind people, and I think I like office because it's all I really want to play now! maybe I've been sucked into the cult without even knowing it, great video!
The only time I played office competitive was in a 5 stack with EU people (I'm NA) and it was amazing. Defense side was just a stall fest cycling mollies and smokes, while learning the optimal smokes and mostly playing long w/ someone else for trading and push connector if they took main. Attack side was also interesting because the strat that worked out for us was to spam flashbangs and rush paper with XM's or SMG's, which surprisingly worked and got us the game. Very interesting game indeed, the enemy team was also chill and we were having a great time. I shall visit office again in SoloQ thanks to this video
the best part of eu servers(from eu) gotta be the variety of weapons used, like it just not goofy, like base gun - deagle - deagle - ak47/m4 x 6 - awp - awp- deagle - ak47/m4 x4 it could be everything and so even r8 is used
Wow, amazing video! When I watched this video, I got so nostalgic. Back in 2016-17 and 18, we had a cult like community on vertigo before it got an overhaul. I probably was the best time I ever had in csgo. I miss those times. Never have I ever had over 60 people online who want to play the same map and five stack every time. And the map had so many different boosts, one ways, pixel spots. It was so fun. #bringbackvertigo
It’s the holidays and I have a small family so I had no thanksgiving and probably won’t have much of a Christmas, I feel the way that Hax did but I choose life and continue to push forward. I just recently got into CS and me and my friend/co worker are playing daily and I’ve gotten a lot better at the game. Really appreciate the video and definitely got my sub

man you shouldve got a guy named Randillion to interview. by far the best office player (maybe a little washed right now). guy just wanted to be the best at a map nobody really knew how to play, came up with new strats and had many deep-dives to recover old lost knowledge about smokes and flashes on office.
Becoming a part of a tight knit community like this is something my lonely self really has yearned for for years, but I always seem to just back away and get very nervous. I love seeing these little niche communities become created from something so out of the ordinary, it really also shows just how deep these Valve games really are and how much they mean to people.

I played with NinjaGT and his friends for a while. Some of them were cheaters too. They invited me because I had military affiliation like a few of them. I never saw ninja say anything outlandish but his friends, I did. I blocked all of them cuz they spammed invites and weren’t fun to play with.

There was a small community when insertion 2 map was out and it was really fun. The ranks were off the charts as you could que solo in high rank and get full team of silvers and meet global stack. I remeber meeting players and talking to them in chat and voice. Some of them I still have added and play with. I even got a 23 win streak on the map but no rankup to sup sadly. The meta on i2 was not the same as orther maps as scout,revolver,m4a1,aug,sg became 10x more powerfull and the map inself had alot of boosts and strats and even pushes for t and not to forget about the spawning mechanics as you could choose were to spawn. The fog made it so different also and intresting.
I Had a friend that passed away due to depression and stuff and since then ive been trying my best to cope with his passing, seeing that Hackz died reminds me of how we played many great FPS Titles with my friend, it was really good while it lasted but sadly depression is like playing russian roulette with a glock.
I often play unranked office with my friends, sometimes it's more fun than sweating on active duty maps. It's just shooting and laughing, not crying about the game, it feels completely different yet it's still the game we love. Oh fuck, do I love office?
Another thing- My gpu recently died so I am using cpu integrated intel 4600 graphics. Office is one of the only maps that the developers have not "remastered" in a long time so FPS is better on Office than Mirage or even Dust 2. If youre using a laptop or something- office is the way to go.
Hey that’s so cool, I’m friends with Rise/in his community so it’s very interesting to see the involvement. Office has such a rich history. I’ve been playing it since 2016. Also to let everyone here know, if you see Apollo, he’s a notorious cheater, and a guy named Solid Snake constantly ques with cheaters. Also a guy named Neo Nel is a known community cheater but he left for about a year but now he’s making a come back. He’s trying to play it off and trying to get back into the NA office community. Be wary.
office for me was ALWAYS a map I knew I didn't have to tryhard on and just have fun. You do get queued against obvious spinbotters a lot back in CSGO, but in CS2 it feels like it doesn't happen as much. When I wanna take a break for the day, I play a bit of office and goof around with an R8 Revolver to maybe get cool shots :3
I bought CSGO in 2018 (funnily enough a few months before it became free) and office was one the first maps I played. I started playing again in 2021 and office was and still is one of my favourite maps
Since I started playing CS:GO in 2017 and Source in 2018, Office has always been my favorite map. It’s not balanced by any means, but it has a charm to it and always a good time with friends

Glad to see office getting some recognition as a fun map to mess around on. In the past 8 years ive played a good amount of office matches and they are always super memorable. Super easy map to play with a ton of easy & satisfying prefire 1 tap opportunities.
I play office since about 2016. I know and played with all the people you mentioned and it really means a lot. The nostalgia hits me. All the memories I have on this map and with the players. I think Hackz would be proud. I remember during the summers when highschool was over I would play office all summer with my buddies. It was the good old days. For the ones who are beginning here are some tips to avoid common mistakes: -while rescuing hostage you can aim around and shoot, it wont interrupt the hostage pick up progress -office T side is about wasting as much time as possible by smoking and mollying side hall and in front of paper so always buy a smoke and a molly -when you rescue and hostage and you have to run behind a smoke, wait about 3 seconds to avoid the Ts shooting through the smoke and because if you you will be visible, there is a glitch where that when you run behind a smoke right after picking up the hostage you are visible.
Recently I have been rather lonely and my parents and others around me have seen a change in my personality. I have friends but we don't see each other that often and talking to them on discord isn't the same. People at my school don't like me, my coworkers are rude and some have shoved me or belittled me. I often have fantasies of hurting people in horrible ways. I feel stuck in a world designed to break me. I feel more out of touch with society every day. Nothing is fun for me anymore, I don't even enjoy videogames like I used to. You said i could leave a comment, so I saw this as an opportunity to let these things out. Thanks.

GREAT video but if you played enough office ( i played 762 matches) and i gotta say i met alot of great people and made IRL friends along the way. did that in 3k hours btw (and 1000 matches in mirage ) yes i meet some cheaters but its great

Fucking love this map. Love the community around it too. Yeah we get a lot of hate for being office mains, but it's just fun to play on an almost professional level against other semi-pros. Also it's an easy map
This video reminds me of my office phase 6 years ago, I think it was the only map I played, and very quickly I entered some sort of community by just adding people to my friendslist and always queueing with them. Some of them disappeared, just like I disappeared to them. Good times while it lasted. I've only known the EU side of office but it's definitely very similar to NA except maybe more people

I Had a friend that passed away due to depression and stuff and since then ive been trying my best to cope with his passing, seeing that Hackz died reminds me of how we played many great FPS Titles with my friend, it was really good while it lasted but sadly depression is like playing russian roulette with a glock.
I often play unranked office with my friends, sometimes it's more fun than sweating on active duty maps. It's just shooting and laughing, not crying about the game, it feels completely different yet it's still the game we love. Oh fuck, do I love office?
Office always was one of my favorite maps overall because I can be as dumb as I already am without the pressure of being supposed to not be shit.

Another thing- My gpu recently died so I am using cpu integrated intel 4600 graphics. Office is one of the only maps that the developers have not "remastered" in a long time so FPS is better on Office than Mirage or even Dust 2. If youre using a laptop or something- office is the way to go.
Hey that’s so cool, I’m friends with Rise/in his community so it’s very interesting to see the involvement. Office has such a rich history. I’ve been playing it since 2016. Also to let everyone here know, if you see Apollo, he’s a notorious cheater, and a guy named Solid Snake constantly ques with cheaters. Also a guy named Neo Nel is a known community cheater but he left for about a year but now he’s making a come back. He’s trying to play it off and trying to get back into the NA office community. Be wary.

office for me was ALWAYS a map I knew I didn't have to tryhard on and just have fun. You do get queued against obvious spinbotters a lot back in CSGO, but in CS2 it feels like it doesn't happen as much.
When I wanna take a break for the day, I play a bit of office and goof around with an R8 Revolver to maybe get cool shots :3

I bought CSGO in 2018 (funnily enough a few months before it became free) and office was one the first maps I played.
I started playing again in 2021 and office was and still is one of my favourite maps

Not from NA, but I've been playing mostly office since I picked up CSGO in 2014. I've got like over 2000 hours and mostly on office. Your video rings most definitely true.
Glad to see office getting some recognition as a fun map to mess around on. In the past 8 years ive played a good amount of office matches and they are always super memorable. Super easy map to play with a ton of easy & satisfying prefire 1 tap opportunities.
I play office since about 2016. I know and played with all the people you mentioned and it really means a lot. The nostalgia hits me. All the memories I have on this map and with the players. I think Hackz would be proud. I remember during the summers when highschool was over I would play office all summer with my buddies. It was the good old days.
For the ones who are beginning here are some tips to avoid common mistakes:
-while rescuing hostage you can aim around and shoot, it wont interrupt the hostage pick up progress
-office T side is about wasting as much time as possible by smoking and mollying side hall and in front of paper so always buy a smoke and a molly
-when you rescue and hostage and you have to run behind a smoke, wait about 3 seconds to avoid the Ts shooting through the smoke and because if you you will be visible, there is a glitch where that when you run behind a smoke right after picking up the hostage you are visible.

Quickly becoming my favorite CS channel
Recently I have been rather lonely and my parents and others around me have seen a change in my personality. I have friends but we don't see each other that often and talking to them on discord isn't the same. People at my school don't like me, my coworkers are rude and some have shoved me or belittled me. I often have fantasies of hurting people in horrible ways. I feel stuck in a world designed to break me. I feel more out of touch with society every day. Nothing is fun for me anymore, I don't even enjoy videogames like I used to. You said i could leave a comment, so I saw this as an opportunity to let these things out. Thanks.
I understand what you're going through man. Just know that no matter how alone or secluded you may feel, there will always be people out there for you. Maybe ask your friends if you can like go grab some food or something like that. I'm should they would enjoy it and I'm just you would too. GREAT video but if you played enough office ( i played 762 matches) and i gotta say i met alot of great people and made IRL friends along the way. did that in 3k hours btw (and 1000 matches in mirage ) yes i meet some cheaters but its great

@@goldecc and if you play on spain servers ( only 50 people queing for office short match) its like a community feel but better than community servers. i legit know every single person queing besides 2 cheaters that refuse to talk. sadly i dont understand spanish but they talk good english
Fucking love this map. Love the community around it too. Yeah we get a lot of hate for being office mains, but it's just fun to play on an almost professional level against other semi-pros.

This video reminds me of my office phase 6 years ago, I think it was the only map I played, and very quickly I entered some sort of community by just adding people to my friendslist and always queueing with them. Some of them disappeared, just like I disappeared to them. Good times while it lasted. I've only known the EU side of office but it's definitely very similar to NA except maybe more people
holy shit I never thought id see a video like this about the people ive played with for two years now. all started because me and a friend wanted to become so good at a map nobody played that we would just win off of map knowledge alone. so many great things missed in this video, but overall sums up the experience.
