I found it stupid that sakurai would end revealing the base roster with incineroar. Seriously you're going to end the reveals with a pokemon that nobody was asking for? If that's the case then K rool or the belmonts should of been saved for last. Honestly I find incineroar to be a shit pokemon to play as in smash. His fight style (while unique and nothing wrong with that) is too combo heavy and is frustrating to work with. (Also his AI is a cheap dick next to king dedede's). As for characters like Shadow and Issac (who were well requested by fans and was also part of the leak) Sakurai should of revealed them as assist trophies way earlier before the november direct, everybody wouldn't have been stung as hard if he did that.

Hell he was at least one of the few top five characters in that list that was third party, behind Geno, Banjo, Jibyanyan, and Arle Nadja. Aside from that though the poll showed that shadow was more requested than chrom, waluigi, sora, ryu, young link, daisy, bomberman, pokemon trainer, and knuckles by japanese gamers. We can only assume that people wanted shadow but it was ignored by sakurai under orders from sega because they hate it when people care about sonic's friends. So that could be why well requested sonic characters like shadow and knuckles were assists and not one of them was playable.

Never played Dragon Quest, but the Luminary and other heroes seem cool. Like a mix of Link and Robin. But hopefully, the are fun to play as, unlike Robin

I, as someone who never believed the grinch for a second, got really disillusioned with you and a lot of other channels like yours for how fully you all seemed to believe it. As someone who was just as sold on the Grinch Leak as you were, I never thought less of you or your channel for being wrong. Crongrats on getting Banjo and some vindication on the side. I can 100% stand by thinking the Grinch leak was real at the time. Now that it turned out to be fake everyone who never believed in it makes fun of everyone that did making it seem like we were all too gullible or something like that and it was just overall it was a toxic energy. But now since that's all over and we finally got Banjo in Smash that's all I care about now & I'm still so darn happy about it. It still feels so surreal that he's in,and to celebrate I'm replaying the first game after a very long time for the second time and also listening to the Spiral Mountain remix whenever I get the chance because it's so amazing that I can't get enough of it.

Ugh, the grinch leak was the absolute worst. It singlehandedly turned me off of ever wanting to talk about leaks ever again just because the community gets so toxic about it. I was one of the people who didn’t believe the leak after analyzing it closely, but I still got heat during all that mess. When everyone becomes entrenched in their viewpoint, nobody wins.
If it weren’t for the Grinch Leak, I would have never done hours of research about and gotten into the Banjo-Kazooie series, and now I _really_ want to play the games officially!
I've watched your videos for a long time but never subscribed until now because I usually don't watch your videos on my computer so I'm not logged in. Its to bad people give you a hard time about the Grinch leak, it really was a massive amount of evidence supporting it that turned out to all be a coincidence. To me the biggest red herring for the grinch leak was the sheer amount of characters for one direct.

Never played Dragon Quest, but the Luminary and other heroes seem cool. Like a mix of Link and Robin. But hopefully, the are fun to play as, unlike Robin

Well, even though I was against Erdrick, I've been sold by his gameplay, he actually seems like a super fun combo of link and robin (two of my mains). I'm looking forward to his release! (I'm guessing mid July-early August)
I'd say July is pretty likely, he seems pretty close to finished. I was also against Erdrick nothing against DQ I just wanted Banjo that bad but now that I got Banjo idc who gets in

I, as someone who never believed the grinch for a second, got really disillusioned with you and a lot of other channels like yours for how fully you all seemed to believe it. The difference between you and those other channels is how you admitted you messed up afterwards, and it’s the reason you’re the only one I follow right now.
As someone who was just as sold on the Grinch Leak as you were, I never thought less of you or your channel for being wrong. Crongrats on getting Banjo and some vindication on the side.

I can 100% stand by thinking the Grinch leak was real at the time. Now that it turned out to be fake everyone who never believed in it makes fun of everyone that did making it seem like we were all too gullible or something like that and it was just overall it was a toxic energy.
But now since that's all over and we finally got Banjo in Smash that's all I care about now & I'm still so darn happy about it. It still feels so surreal that he's in,and to celebrate I'm replaying the first game after a very long time for the second time and also listening to the Spiral Mountain remix whenever I get the chance because it's so amazing that I can't get enough of it.

I always thought that maybe, JUST MAYBE, the Grinch Leak was actually real very early artwork with cut characters that have since been scrubbed from the game.

My brother was planning to get the Switch version once it comes out anyway, even if the Luminary wasn't in Smash Ultimate. The Hero in Smash is icing on the cake for him.

Ugh, the grinch leak was the absolute worst. It singlehandedly turned me off of ever wanting to talk about leaks ever again just because the community gets so toxic about it. I was one of the people who didn’t believe the leak after analyzing it closely, but I still got heat during all that mess. When everyone becomes entrenched in their viewpoint, nobody wins.
If it weren’t for the Grinch Leak, I would have never done hours of research about and gotten into the Banjo-Kazooie series, and now I _really_ want to play the games officially!
I've watched your videos for a long time but never subscribed until now because I usually don't watch your videos on my computer so I'm not logged in. I appreciate how you have always presented the leaked information without sensationalizing it. Its to bad people give you a hard time about the Grinch leak, it really was a massive amount of evidence supporting it that turned out to all be a coincidence. You have always done a good job of filtering what leaks you decide to talk about, that's why your the only source I check for speculation videos.

I just hate one thing about this channel. How the hell does Blocked Content and Lax Chris have more subscribers than him when Papagenos is so genuine with these leaks. He just doesnt blindly believe them and points out flaws in them.

This is such a great video. Honestly, I think about the entire history of the Smash Ultimate leak/speculation/reveal story. It was such a crazy and convoluted time.
