Great video! Nicely done. My kit has been sitting around for a few months, awaiting a nice relaxed afternoon to take care of it. Do you think it's doable without removing the bonnet (our Landy is a post-2007 Puma)?
Hi and thanks. Yes it’s possible without removing the bonnet but there is nothing to it to take it off and it would be so much easier if our was on a bench. I’m not sure if the bonnets differ on my 2001 to yours though. Thanks for watching 👍🏽
Cheers Mike. Yeah, the Puma bonnet is easy to remove, I replaced the hinges and bolts a while back and took 'er off. Just being lazy. I'll let you know how I get on when the time comes!
Hi, there was definitely a dumbing down of the usual sound I experience and I could genuinely hear the radio better. Whilst I didn't expect silence I do think it is a good improvement. Mike
Hi James. I've had a look on both the Dynamat and Silent Coat sites and cannot find any specific about over painting apart from this link to Dynamat that does mention it should be fitted before the paint process. www.dynamat.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/2010-Dynamat-Xtreme-Sell-Sheet_Web.pdf At the end of the day you would be painting on an aluminium surface with an exposed "sticky edge". Possibly it may need some pretreatment before a final overcoat? Not sure if that helps you? Let me know how you get on, thanks for the comment and for watching 👍🏽

Please do, but give yourself the afternoon for the job though and plenty of tea!!
So... what of improvement did you hear?
