The kit looks and sound great. The guitars were cool and reminded me of Incubus. The snare gave me a semi chub.

nice sounding kit ! question ! what do u use to keep the clear heads clean ?
They’re fairly new, that’s the easiest way 😂 otherwise a gentle rub with a microfibre and some gentle surface spray gets any dust and crud off

Oddly specific question, have you had opportunities to play on 12th & Vine kits? And if so, what made you go Gladstone over 12th & Vine?
Thanks mate! I agree, there’s not a tonne of specific info videos out there. I’ve used the 12th and Vine a couple of times. They’re a little more mellow than the Gladstone, which are a little more straight up rock and roll. But both very versatile and great sounding kits. The maple 6+6’s are also awesome in this sort of vein.
This kit sounds great and definitely fits the sound you were going for. The black and white makes me think tuxedo but like a bad ass tuxedo.... So call it Bruce Wayne.

Have you considered creating your own discord server where yourself to Patreon members, your community and us drummers can connect and share information? Granted I know you’re probably really busy, but I have a friend UA-camr who does this and it’s worked out great for all of us! Looking forward to the great content, cheers from the US!
Genuinely good idea. Something I might do down the line. But it’s not something I have a tonne of time for at this stage. Would be super cool though!

Sounds great... agree with you on lacquer v wrap finish....I see so many beautiful lacquer kits, but to me there like fine furniture, very fragile...a beaten up lacquer finish kit to me doesn’t look great....
I love a nice clean grain finish but I agree, when they get dinged up it’s so brutal.
The sound is really good, which interface and preamp do you use?

It’s a 14x7 3mm oversized cast bronze snare made by Cusworth Drums. Declan White who mixed the audio here is the guy who built it. HIGHLY recommend if you’re after that iconic Tama bell bass sound.

Did I somehow miss you saying what snare drums (main & aux.) you used? Is the main snare a Dunnett, Paiste, or Zildjian?

C and C Drums? Why would you buy a new C and C drum set? They are only some of "The Nicest" well made custom drums in the world! Why would you want those? Just get ya a Pearl Export Series drum set and you're good to go. lol. Does Pearl even still make the Export Series? lol Seriously, sweet drum set. It's Always nice to have a custom drum kit that is made in America, if ya can afford it. Glad you can ! Now make a promise to yourself: It doesn't matter if it's girls, starvation, earthquakes, Tsunami's, (drugs) or WW III, make a Promise to NEVER SELL THE DAMN THINGS! The best life in this world one can achieve, is a life without regrets. Peace.

And to have a life without regrets means - You must in life "DO WHAT YOU LOVE". If you don't "Go For It" and follow your passion, you will never find your purpose in life. Instead you'll just end up with a paycheck, and just as poor and in debt as if you still went into music. lol. The problem with being an artist? All of your work becomes more valuable upon your death. I think it was greedy record Executives that came up with that one. Either way, I got an accounting degree instead of a music degree and live music recording. Biggest regret of my life. So don't be a big dummy like me. If you love music, then make it your career. Make it your Life. Do What You Love! We only get 1 life so go for it!
