Both your and Monica's videos are absolute highlights of my day. If you're looking for video ideas/suggestions, have you ever thought about doing a video about how accurate SocialBlade is?
I love how you keep it real about Everything! You're the first person I've seen say lounges aren't worth it. You gave us fomo when you took that great shower in Texas(?) but now you've made us feel better for not having access to those lounges. Thank you and sorry about the rain this week. It is winter. It'll be gone soon.
AGree with you on the airport lounges; I've noticed a big change in the level and quality of service from the Air Canada lounges - always packed with people, tables left messy and people "stocking up" on food as if they're at a buffet. A different clientele than what it used to be imo.
Shelby, wonderful vlog. I loved all the different things you covered in this vlog. I love to visit Dallas and I know what you talked about in dressing up. Everything was great!!!
Feeling called out by the backpack comment. Recently moved from a tote to a backpack because I changed jobs and commute by train most days now (and also my work laptop is huge and didn’t fit in the tote). Just found it soo much easier to walk and fit all my things especially my lunchbox into a backpack than a handbag. Also my arm was getting soo tired carrying all that weight on one hand!
Surprised by her comment since she lived in Seattle, almost every office worker uses a backpack, even people that drive to work lol. I used a tote bag before and definitely felt out of place.
I live in Dallas! Funny to hear what y’all think about it, ppl definitely dress up here and when I visit other places and go out I always feel like I get stares for being too dressy lol
I went on a 3 month europe trip and the airport lounges were so worth it for me, I had about 5 flights I was able to use the lounges for and they were way less full than the main airport area wiht more comfortable seating! I also saved so much money having the food there too (as my lounge access was free through my credit card). I was especially impressed with the food in Rome, you could see them preparing it fresh and they made the pizza's from scratch! I haven't been in an airport lounge in the US though, maybe it's different over there haha
I watch another UA-camr who travels worldwide for work every year and he says the lounges and airlines in Europe are over all better compared to the US, so it def depends where you travel too.
dang you should’ve tried Salad and Go while you were in Texas! it’s a drive thru salad restaurant that started in Phoenix. i used to work there. their salads are sooooooooo yummy and they’re HUGE! plus they have house-made dressings and it’s only $6! i live in seattle now and it’s the one thing i miss from living in phoenix i genuinely wanna open my own franchise here in seattle 😫😫😫😫😫
I agree on the domestic front, but I rarely see you going to international lounges which is where they shine. I'm currently in one in Dublin and it's not buffet style. It's prepackaged salads and sandwiches and not overcrowded. There's some that even have massage chairs (Australia) and employees that give neck massages (Bangkok, Thailand). The Amex centurion lounges and delta sky lounges are the nicer ones in America. The rest in America are kind of trash. I went into a lounge in America recently that only had soda crackers and soup, and that was it.
UA-cam has rolled out a bunch of new features over the last couple of days.... lately some people were complaining about little ads they got in the corner and I had no idea what they were talking about 🤔but now I get them too, so it indeed is a new feature😌
It might be worth getting a sleeve for your laptop to protect it a bit in the bag, especially if the base of the bag isn't very substantial. Too easy to set the bag down a bit too hard and potentially break the hinge or something if there's no padding. Tom Bihn makes some nice sleeves (not that fashionable, but it'll be inside the bag so it probably doesn't matter... They are well-made, by a company in Seattle).
BTW I have basically the same laptop (just the 14" model) and they're really tough - I dropped mine on concrete like a week after I got it and it's fine other than a scrape 😅 But still better safe than sorry.
The Seattle Centurion lounge has always been amazing whenever I go there lol. Also lounges are really the best overseas (especially Asia and Middle East). I typically travel overseas so it’s been great so far.
I would love to see you give away items you get for free to a woman’s shelter to disadvantaged woman and encourage other influencers to do that too. I get it you want to use their products, and work with them in the future though.
Gonna say this...the little popups for each product shown on camera are SO ANNOYING. They stay there for at least a full minute unless I dismiss each and every one.
The centurion dfw is the worst ive been to its always too full the delta lounge at terminal e is typically your best bet it’s typically not full for early flights and i never had issues. But i do get my lounge access for free i would not pay extra for it
Lounges vary hugely by location. Centurion Seattle has great food and is beautiful and huge. SFO has bad food and it's not a great space. LAX has very good food but the space is weirdly laid out. SkyClubs mostly have edible food and vary in terms of the space: some are beautiful some are not. LAX is a pretty nice space, JFK is crowded, SFO is small but very pleasant. It's not all or nothing.
Definitely varies! The Seattle Centurion has been great every time I’ve been. I don’t remember her ever going to Asia or the Middle East, but lounges there are the best. I haven’t really heard of the ones in Europe.
@@hruyle93 Asian lounges definitely great. European Priority Pass lounges are OK but the best ones tend to be exclusive (like AirFrance lounges) and not easily accessible.
Not worth it? Coming from the gal that had shot some videos in the airport lounge showers... :D Wait, does the fact that I know that make me a creeper? LOL!!!!!
Yay, a Church cross-over video. Two for the price of one. Shelby, forever the perfectionist. Always wants to and always does look good. My goodness, was there anything on your pizza? "Outside the gates" You weren't the gate-keeper, were you? 🦘🦘

It's amazing to see how the two little girls next door, have become such beautiful young women! My best wishes to you both! 🥰
OMG susie cross!! Hope you’re doing well!!
I love your and Monica's UA-cam channel but I love it when you both make guest appearances on each other's channels it's the greatest.

Ok, your vlogs (and Monica's) are so relaxing and inspiring. You girls vlog game is going strong!
So glad Monica's airstream is finally getting ready!

Yay! Love seeing you both together. Agree about lounges nowadays. LOVE the red sweater yessss. 😻
I recommend the Dagne Dover tote bags for us tech people- plenty of pockets to safely organize ur laptop + harddrives

15:35 I love your red sweater and blue jeans combo! It's giving Mario of the Super Mario Bros!❤
Good morning Shelby happy Thursday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I got an actual breifcase from Dagne Dover. Its nylong and lightweight a d fits my entire portable office. I will wear it to work for years to come😊
LOVE having my lounge access in European airports. It's a must-have!
Love the red sweater and black jeans! The wedding seemed a lovely moment...
Y’all totally crack me up!
Downtown Dallas is business district so they dress up but most areas doesn’t matter ❤
YOUR CHOICE OF MUSIC BACKGROUND, ITS ALWAYS PERFECT! HOW DO YOU CHOOSE EVERYTIME?
Congratulations to your friends. You all looked so beautiful 🎉🎉

You can get a felt liner for the bag to create compartments

Shelby working with BMW and now with the Google/Pixel team with their new phone! Well done Shelby 👏
That brown dress is so nice on Monica

@xtw1955 we finally got these in OKC. LOVE that place!
Monica’s airstream is fantastic I think it’s so cool inside looks fresh
Just ordered the wine advent calender for my bf! So fun
You look really good in the dress. Monica’s airstream looks amazing and I might need to take a peek over at her channel too.
You look so happy to be back in LA!
The red Smeg mini fridge is adorable! ❤
Capital one lounge just opened at DIA and I’m pumped. We have a little one so the food and having a place away from all the noise is amazing.
Monica must be so excited about the Airstream, it looks so good! The finishes are very high quality
Yeay surprise evening vlog!!
Im with you with the koa trailer parks feeling cramped. I had to leave early because omg.

I totally hear you on the blow drying thing! I need to take a blow drying class…
"I'm not reaaaadyyyy." but almost!" lol

Been waiting for a while for an Airstream update
Delta buffets mark each dish as Gluten Free or Vegan, etc so it’s the ONLY way I can be assured of gluten free food in an airport.
Did you mention what hotel you stayed at? It looks amazing
Shelby I need to know where that leather jacket is from!!
Glad you had fun with your sister
The Red Sweater looks so good on you.
I have a cuyana tote and love it! They sell a divider insert
I have never been this early ever!
Do you have a certain time when you post your Vlog videos? I thought you usually post them earlier in the day.
Why is Monica's Airstream in Texas?
ETA: Whoa, what hotel did y'all stay in? I think that's the prettiest pool surroundings I've ever seen! GORGEOUS!
Monica explains it on her channel
The company that renovated her Airstream is in Texas 👍
That burnt orange dress is gorge

Shelby, what’s happening with the Joshua Tree house?
I had to go to Dallas on a business trip. It's different out there compared to CA. I'd rather live in CA
Liked your new stuff, makeup, clothes, and hair. So fun. Felt like i had a girls night with you. haha.
I am often in the Lufthansa Lounge. However, I go to the Senator Lounge because the normal Business Class Lounge is too full
Is that a Google Pixel 8? I'm planning to get a 7 Pro.
where is monicas long sleeve dress from!!
Gonna say this...the little popups for each product shown on camera are SO ANNOYING. They stay there for at least a full minute unless I dismiss each and every one.
Yes so so annoying
ohhh I didn't know they stayed that long!! okay good to know I'll do less
@@shelbychurchvlogs Thanks 🫶
Shout out to Big D!!! (Native Texan) Woothoo! I’m so glad everyone was well mannered❤

theyre updating the airport lounges access requirements. making it harder. i recently watched a video reporting on this.
Good 👍🏻 video and very interesting
What was the hotel?

You seem so much happier since you moved to LA....
9:47 - i could be wrong but international lounges seem to be a lot different than US lounges.
When you move apartments how do PR companies know where to send you items?
They probably contact her agent first
Ooo those bootiesss gurrrlll
oh lord i’d be terrified of a wax without a patch test 😮
Your tote bag doesn’t have pockets, padding, or a firm bottom. I’d return it and get something for a laptop.
Yup...100% agree
Jesus, how are you so pretty. Or maybe it's the amazing camera :p. Lol.
That wedding was insane, so many bridesmaids! Imagine how much it would have cost... I'm sure it was amazing but I just wouldn't be able to justify it
Why don't you just tweeze your brows if it's a few stray hairs?
I've never understood waxing
I tweeze mine every few days to keep them under control. Takes less than two minutes and I never have to pay for a wax
@@MrsMuffin11 yep! Never had my eyebrows waxed in my life. A lot of people over waxed when they were younger and they never grow back properly
