i just scrubbed mine for 5 mins with brake cleaner and it was "kinda" working but knew there had to be a better way. Never would have thought about oven cleaner. you da 🤴

Easy Off removes paint. I've used it to strip metal parts I was refinishing before. Ovens and grills have ceramic coatings which are not touched by paint stripper.

Man thank God, I couldn't replace my brake pads for a while and the rust from making contact with the rotor completely covered my rims and got some on the lower body of my driver side. I'm buying that spray asap

It will work just don't wait over a minute 1, test it out on a small area first is aways good to test it out before you do a full rim

Dude ,awesome video watched a lot of videos none were what I I’m experiencing . I had my brakes changed yesterday and one wheel looks like hell not quite as bad as that one but I hadn’t saw this before. I tried Bleach White wouldn’t do it but with my finger nail scratching it ,it would come off. I’ll be getting me some of that ! Bet

Don’t know whether you got round to trying this. I’ve just done it, car was driven for some time with a protruding bearing, forcing the disk into the caliper mount of the car. Works 100%, had a thick layer of stacked rust on the wheel, sprayed it a few times brushed and scrubbed at it not a spec of rust left. It’s not pleasant though, even the act of spraying it anywhere near your car feels wrong. It leaves some etching on clear coat so find another way to get it off your paint if you’ve got pride in your car. It might polish out but you’ll be making work you might not be able to fix. 👍🏻

Better if you take it off and away from the car yes ,, don't let that staff go on your pain or caliper
I tried this and i highly dont reccomend this. Not only did i end up having to take it in after doing it, the brake dust didnt come off, my cleaner feom the store works much better.
If your cars a beater to begin with i guess you could give it a shot.

Yeah get that shit on your skin like I did and you'll know it . I used that shit 3 years ago on my rims and the wind picked up as I was spaying and got a bad burn on my hand and yes I was wearing disposable gloves. Still have the scar. Do it inside with closed doors.

Same thing happened to me 😭 my rotor got wore down to the outside layer and the ribs cracked my caliper piston and it exploded and got break dust & rust and break fluid all over my rim and it’s saturated been like that for 2 months and I can not get it clean
