Yeah, not an F1 car or track, but F1 and Motogp race on the same tracks a lot of the time. The lap records on all of them are pretty much like the COTA track.....Motogp is 2min 3 seconds and F1 is 1 min 36 seconds. Motogp's top speeds on straits are higher at 215+mph but obviously with 4 tires/brakes and the lower center of gravity of the F1 can dominate of all the corners. I prefer Motogp as there's more overtaking and imo visually better. Also less shenanigan's. Motogp riders are true warriors.
F1 or indy car, both of it have a tons of downforce which is help the car to run into the corner with super fast. So nothing the MotoGp bike could do about it, but its different kind of motorsport, it will be not fair for us to contrasting each of these motorsport grandprix.
Exactly, but you have seen a V8 F1 car that have beaten by a superbike. Actually, it did happen. A superbike could match or beat them on straights or on a drag race. But around the track, bikes overall couldn't able to beat single seater cars that generate tons of downforce. You go find the video of Kenan Sofoglu drag racing against F1 car, Jet, Hyper & Touring cars to see what I mean.

In the straight line, superbike or motogp have a higher top speed than F1 car, but its also depend on the acceleration on the superbike, because f1 have an incredible acceleration too, but for sure for drag race motogp will win it.

And, Webber totally agreed to that because he is also an avid fan of MotoGp like most of the F1 drivers. Also, Hamilton said it to Rossi when they met as Lewis is a fan of MotoGp & Rossi. Valentino had agreed as well to that difference. That's why you can obviously notice the difference of Marc & the Indy car when approaching the apex in this video. What more on the turns on the actual track. Bikes loss a lot of time into the corners. Because cornering is up to driver skills. That's why 3 time MotoGp Champion J. Lorenzo thrived on a Yamaha because of his exceptional speed through corners that suited his style more to the M1.

I hope F1 would change in 2022 with those new regulations implemented to the cars, as they aim to make it more close racing than this usual procession. Actually, both sport are great with all the technicality & evolution they do every season. That's why these 2 sport are the pinnacle of motorsport. 👍 On the drag, bikes with its power to weight ratio will always dominate. Moto got no chance against F1 because of downforce and much better grip. Sad but true. There are many videos of real comparations of F1 and others. There's a huge hall between them. F1 is the fastest one on circuit with a lot of corners, breaking and accelerating. Only NASCAR circuits without turning are better for moto or nascar vehicle.
It can be a F1 Car OR an Indy Car - it cant be both, Just sayin'. Looked like a couple of demo laps for the punters rather than a race. Looks like some kind of Honda demo day for staff.

The bike has better acceleration but the car has better traction and grip so able to keep Infront and the car is better balanced due to having four wheels Vs two wheels but great video
If I were the bike rider if I could I would stay on the right side of the car in the turn trying to keep him down as much as possible which will slow him down because he would like to be up high so we can go fast through the terms if I keep him down at a lower speed I can stay with him through the times

If this race was on a typical road course, Moto GP bike would win easily with Marquez on board. I think this race was designed to please the fans of both sides. I don't even know who the winner was. Seems like a draw is better than a victory in Japan.
I'm not sure what is educational about this clip. Firstly there's no point in putting "Formula 1" in the title because Formula 1 cars and Indy cars are totally different. This isn't a race but a demo. On any of the few circuits where both Formula 1 cars and MotoGP bikes race, the speed difference is huge, simply because the cornering speed on two wheels is extremely slow compared with four wheels. As an example - on the track in Barcelona, Spain, a Formula 1 laps in about 1 minute 18 seconds, while a MotoGP bike takes about 1 minute 40 seconds.
On circuits with curves, a car of some high category will always beat MotoGP. And even on a long straight the bike wouldn't stand a chance against the indy with a superspeedway setup like in this case. The bike will beat F1 at top speed due to the high amount of downforce on the car.

It's a Fool's mission trying to compare two entirely different vehicles for their performance in automobile or race car with four wheels cannot fall down they also can get quite loose if need be which is not ideal but they can get loose and not lose complete control in Fall Down simply said cars don't fall down they don't tip over they don't highside from losing rear wheel traction they don't either Crash from losing front wheel traction of course there's a limit to that automobile driven in a willy-nilly fashion crazily will crash from losing traction years ago when I went to watch the MotoGP races at Laguna Seca when they first start coming back and the season rainy was paralyzed MotoGP bikes at that time were 15 seconds a lap slower than Indy cars they have gained some ground I believe that MotoGP bikes now compared to any of the Open Wheel fastest fast can be cars that run at Laguna are only about 9 seconds slower per lap but that is huge you know I mean we're talking just a huge difference 9 seconds think about that so let's not try and compare things that just don't make any sense in comparing for one thing you couldn't even race the two vehicles on the same race track at the same time because the lines were so different and the breaking points so different from each vehicle if they wouldn't even be able to get in a good battle for position myself I am a former motorcycle racer and former race car mechanic I respect your passion in all race doesn't matter whether it's cars motorcycles airplanes bicycles racing is racing let's enjoy it and not make ridiculous comparisons
