@stumccloy hi I purchased a alphastand universal stand from Amazon I think it was 49.99. It has a glass base. It looks great. It uses the versa mount holes. I didn't like the cross mount bar. But I had an old wall mount from about 10 years ago. So all I had to do was Redhill 4 bolt holes and it worked out great. I have the tv setting with about 1" space under the tv and it looks alsome no one would ever know until they peeked around the back. I wish I could show you a picture on here .Darrell

Did you get the 65” because it fit your space and sitting distance better or because you feel it has a sharper image over the larger 77” due to pixel density? Im currently having a hard time deciding if I want to get the 65” or 77” for my basement. My sitting distance will be between 8-9 feet. Thanks for the video…the G3 looks beautiful!

Good informative video. I will also be using my current VESA mount, so that was helpful because almost every other unboxing video that I’ve seen, understandably, just uses the included against the wall one.
Thanks for excellent review. I'm glad you explained the very limited 5 year warranty, which a lot of reviewers fail to do. This TV, the Samsung QD OLED and the eventual Sony A95L are in the running in 77" for which TV I"ll buy this year. Just waiting on Sony to get off their ass.

Thanks, my viewing distance is about 13ft and even 77inch would be good. I went with the 65in as I have a column at the side which reduces colours from any led strips on the back of the tv as it gets in the way.
It's the best Dolby Vision OLED. People really need to make it clear that Samsung et al. do NOT support DV. If 90 percent of your viewing is Netflix Apple or Disney, it makes the others a Non Starter.

So we have A Silent Voice (A very high profile and visually stunning film) and Call of the Night (A recent anime obviously made to modern standards because it looks like the reason they invented 4K. I hope you can find blu rays for both for reference purposes, but A Silent Voice will surely be the easier get. Just to reiterate, I've had all the same curiosity about a home theater setup, so I've asked before. I bet these would look beautiful! Thanks again!

Thanks, you already have the G2 which is awesome but can you believe this is even brighter with less glare, I personally thought the game mode of the G3 is pretty good with excellent performance.
@@GeekStreet sry, but you don't know what you're talking about. it's only 10-20% brighter which nobody will notice unless they are side by side. even LG doesn't claim 70 % more brightness vs the LG G2. LG says it's 30 % brighter than the G2, but that is if you measure small white rectangles on screen, which is not a real world scenario. Forget the G3, it's not worth getting over the G2 unless the price is the same.
Apparently according to Vince from HDTV as far as quality is concerned. The G2 offers 97% performance as of the G3. That surely gives one something to think about. Good video all the same 👍

This is NOT the game for tv. The game mode isn’t as good as either Samsung QD-Oled and it’s not even as good as the game mode of the G2. Idk why only 2 or 3 UA-camrs are talking about it but I got rid of this tv because the game mode wasn’t very crisp.

Had you bought the Samsung s95c qd oled tv, you wouldn't have destroyed your wall😂,to run cables and power, you see the Samsung have what they call a one connect box, so you connect all your cables,including power cable to this one connect box and then just one cable go to the wall mounted tv savings you your wall,house😮,plus that lg g3 oled tv panel runs very hot 🔥 light through lenses equal heat,burn in ,while the Samsung s95c qd panel is like the ring of power quite cool to the touch 👍🤓
Nah all good I've got a power strip behind my TV as need extra power points for LED strips and already have have conduit for hdmi cables, but definitely a cool idea with Samsung with the one connect.
I have the A95K and not happy with it. The screen is extremely hard to clean and the PQ has some blooming. I also had the x95k prior to that end it had ridiculous blooming. Done with Sony.

Ah 8ft is pretty close 65 inch would be best, mine is 13ft and it was pretty good with the 75inch I previously had.
