Hi. Thanks. Make a bigger than usual hole in the wall. The power cord on the G-series is attached to the TV, you cant take it off. On other TVs you take the slim part of the cord through the wall, but you cant do that on this one. The thick part needs to go through. Get the TV before you start making holes in the wall for wires to avoid mistakes. Its a very common mistake to make a to small hole for this TV.
Hi What size do you recommend I'm fitting this exact TV Wednesday, Also the Fischer Duotec are there different versions or just different sizes. Thank you
@@oslotvmontering awesome! Any recommendations on cord hiders at all? I am right there with you and do not want to drill more into the wall if I do not have to. Thanks for the timely response! I appreciate it!
Question 1: How many meters should you sit from this 83-inch TV at a minimum? Question 2: Is it true that when watching series and films on such large TVs you see so-called "streaks" at the top and bottom?
Дякую за відео! Дуже сподобалось що підключення до internet було за допомогою LAN кабелю. У мене 3TV і всі підключені LAN кaбелем. Я рахующо так більш надійно. Дякую, було приємно побачити однодумців по методу підключення.
That hdtv is going to collapse..he didn't use the studs ( as it is, these LG HDTVs are very heavy for that tiny aluminum bracket ). The amount of pressure of the weight on the sheetrock isn't going to hold up for too long. We installed one on a ceramic wall on top of a fireplace but made sure to have the screws/bolts grab tight through the studs. However, I personally don't like that bracket it's too thin and can easily vent. I would recommend that you get another bracket that's more firm and stronger....
Hi. The bracket is made of metal and is more than strong enough. If you dont like the mounting of the 65, here are the 83 mounted the exact same way: ua-cam.com/video/qKDKV9PTuJw/v-deo.html
Hi, this TV was made for the Scandinavian market, the plug has the same style as the country its made for. The plug will come with the same style as you have in your own home if you buy it in your country. Or you can use a adapter.
Hi what if the wall is one layer of plaster and one layer of OSB. About 30 mm thick in total. Would you also recommend the Duotech use ? Or just wood screws ? Its for a 65 G4. Tkz
Yes maybe it’s also that 4 new audio quest cables are still to rigid. And those 2 cables clip on the back from LG don’t stay closed even with some tape
Hi. Yes, the studs were made of steel. Steel studs are not the best to use for fastening. With the correct plugs it's safer to use the drywall. A plasterboard can hold 200 kilos with the correct plugs. The one in the video are by far the best plugs on the marked and are made for this.
Hi. Dont recommend that, when the studs are made of steel they are not the best to use for fastening. after drilling in steel the hole for the bolts get extremely sharp and it may ruin the bolts after fastening. With the correct plugs its safer to use the drywall.
@@roberth7559 Hi. I always use Fischer Duotec bolts when mounting on a plaster wall. 2 of those can hold a person easily. The strongest ones on the market.
Finally someone who does NOT cut out the moments of unboxing. Thank you for this.
Thanks so much. Not a single second was wasted in this video.
Hi. Thank you. 😊
This was like ASMR for TV unboxing. I loved it! So much better than other UA-camrs yelling at me.

@@oslotvmontering Hi, difficult to find those screws with round head & partial. What brand/model do you use for screws pls ? Tkz

Hi, very useful thanks. What size washers did you use?

Thank you for the video. Does this LG mount allow for tilting? If so, what angle can it be tilted?

Great video and very straight forward install!
What do you recommended for covering the wires, if anything at all?
Hi. A cord hider with tape on the backside, then you can just glue it to the wall, looks good and no need for more holes.

Hi what is the best way to push the tv back ? Without putting pressure on the tv? I always struggle thank you 🙏🏻
Hi. Dont pull it all the way out, then it's much easier to push it back.
@@oslotvmontering hi thanks, what method would you say to push back? Hands either side or top bottom? Thanks
@@uwaisk5540 HI. Always push at the top, if the plastic on the TV is off I use a towel to avoid fingerprints.
Any gaps against the wall? you should also film this
Hi. I agree, I'll do better next time. There is no gap on this TV.
What kind of plaster plugs or anchors are those? I've never seen this kind before. Are they on Amazon? Thanks!
Hi. They are called Fischer Duotec.
Like that mount. Does it come with TV? Thanks!
Hi. Yes, it comes with all Lg G -series.

Hi. 1. Depends on what you prefer. From 2,5 meter is ok for me. 2. Never heard or seen that issue ever.
What if the frame doesn't click like in tutorial videos? Also, do you need to pull TV out when mounted as per lg video? To attach it
Hi. There is no frame for this TV unfortunately . The only Tv with a frame involved is Samsung The frame.
Is this the same mount as the GX??
Hi. No, they are not similar.
Hi there! Is everything included in the box to mount it on a brick wall?
Hi. For a brick wall, yes. You need a ratchet for the screws, the rest is business as usual.

Hi. I do not know who is better but I use utp myself.
Mh G3 TV is mounted on the wall, and I wanted to pull it away from the wall to connect HDMI as it is flush against it, how can I do that?

Was this mounted entirely on drywall, no studs at all?
