Ratchet & Clank UYA HD Debug Codes (Unlock all Weapons, Gadgets, Missions and Planets) [PS3 ONLY]

THEY WILL NOT WORK IN THE PS2 VERSION!
These codes are entered in the pause menu.
-- Lock/Unlock Weapons & Gadgets (1:55) --
Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Square
Navigate to the Weapons or Gadgets submenu, hover over any box, and press L3 to toggle that item. You may have to re-enter this code if you pause/reload the game later on to enable or disable more items.
-- Unlock all Missions and Planets (2:50) --
Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle
Once you have access to your ship (if you don't already), you can travel to and play through any level you like. The two levels called 'level15_cityname' and '#', if traveled to, will crash your PS3, forcing you to do a cold reboot.
NOTE: You cannot use the 'Unlock all Planets and Missions' code to skip all the way to the final planet and beat the boss -- you can fly to the planet and explore it as normal, but you will be unable to start the boss fight. MLG_Cross explained it thusly:
"...you can't beat the game by unlocking all the planets and simply just going to the Command Center. There are pre-requisites that are needed to activate the cutscene to enter the final boss battle. The first is all required missions must be completed. The second is that you had to have played all vid-comics and have obtained all gadgets legitimately. So there is no way to sequence-break. I have tested it and looked into the game's code. That is simply how the game was programmed to prevent it being exploited."
So if you were planning on using that code to beat the game quickly, don't, cos you'll be wasting your time.
These codes will only work in the PS3 version of the game. They will NOT work on the original PS2 version, or the Vita version.

ATTENTION VIEWERS: Please note that if you choose to use these codes, you use them AT YOUR OWN RISK! There have been several comments of late where people have said they've gotten stuck at some point in the game because they used the codes. Why are you people surprised? It should be fairly obvious that using a code that unlocks all levels and missions may disrupt the flow of the game!
What if i only use the weapon cheat to unlock the weapons i don't have and don't use the mission cheat? Will it break my save file?
Jason Gamer It doesn't matter which codes you do or do not use (unless you use none of them). These codes were not supposed to be left in the game. Using unintended codes may result in negative consequences, no matter how careful you are with them.

So long as you back it up to an external device, it should be fine. If you leave the backup on the PS3, while I don't see any reason for the codes to mess it up, you simply never know.

I did this and i was able to complete the whole story! It's so awesome to be able to use the Ryno at level one
Yes, you still will earn trophies but don't use the planet one it might break ur game
one of the hidden planets is veldin, and one of them is insomniac museum, the '#' has the same planet image as insomniac museum when you fly to it, veldin you cant travel back to so >.>

Another thing to add on to my previous comment, and that is the fact that the cutscenes will not play out of order. They are pre-determined in the code to play in a specific sequence, giving you even more reason not to waste your time.
They probably did that in response to the previous game's exploit where you go straight to the Insomniac Museum from Planet Aranos (1st visit), leaving you without the necessary gadgets to complete later levels as normal.

Nope -- I tested it right after I made this video, but I couldn't lock or unlock armour or any items using L3. The Unlock all Missions and Planets *does* unlock the Vid-Comics, though.
This should be another reason not to skip to the last level because you have to use the Hacker at one point on Mylon. However, it may be possible to use the Miniturrets to go through the locked door.

A cool thing with the weapon cheat is that you can lock thenn unlock it again and it will be fully reloaded but it only works with weapons that are out of ammo so it can also be used to get unlimited ammo

It can be used to assist unlocking trophies based on completing parts of the story, and trophies involving weapons acquisition, but not *all* trophies :P

THANK YOU SO MUCH I USED TO UNLOCK ALL WEAPONS GOT RYHNO ACHIEVEMENT and beated the game and unlocked most the stuff because of all weapons and also i wasnt gonna use the all plantes anyways because it was gonna be all buggy i knew befor you even posted the comment I THINK YOUR ONLY 1 WHO KNEW ABOUT THIS THANKS BRO! you earned 5 subs ;D cause im telling my friends about this :D
Yeah, I see what you mean. Would basically be "Who can beat the first level and last level the fastest?" run -- would be interesting to watch. I personally wanna try to do a Challenge Mode playthrough starting with no weapons, having to repurchase them all as I play along.
Sorry to break it to you, but once you obtain the weapons and upgrade them, they become unavailable for repurchasing if you lock them back up.
This is really neat; I've seen the debug menu before in the original game so part of me was hoping it would be accidentally left in the HD version. =P
I haven't been able to try this out since I don't have the collection, but does R3 do anything in-game after you've typed the code? R3 was the button that brought the actual debug menu up in debug versions of the game. Have you tried it out?

@@ZR117 Hey! I believe the debug menu is unavailable in the HD collection. However there are a couple of UYA prototypes with debug menus if you're interested, they're documented on the Cutting Room Floor
As I said to SharpFPShooter, you can use these debug codes to unlock trophies. I haven't tried to do so personally, but there's no reason for them to block trophy unlocks when using debug codes, seeing as they were used for testing purposes.
I just tried it on the Vita version, and the all planets code *DOES* work, but the all weapons/gadgets code does not.
Also, I must reiterate to *NOT* attempt to travel to "level15_cityname" or "#"; doing so will not only cause the game to crash, but will also corrupt your save file.
the level15_cityname is the first version of metropolis, and the # is probably the insomniac museum moon
the # planet looks like the insomniac moon, and if you go on the map (with L3 och SELECT) you can see the metropolis background on level15_cityname
It would make more sense for it to be Veldin, as no Multiplayer map gets an extra level (no, Aridia doesn't count). As for the Metropolis background, it was probably a placeholder or something that the devs decided to put in the meantime.
Then again, Veldin DOES have it's own map, so it's maybe a cut level or Multiplayer map.

That would depend on how the trophies are triggered, and I don't know if it goes off the cutscene data or if it has its own separate set of prerequisites. You'd have to test it.
These work in all ps2 ratchet game's beta versions. Up down up down left right left right square allowed you to unlock debug menu by pressing R3 and the unlock weapon stuff. Up down up down left right left right Circle did the same thing but actually shows you a message:
"All Planets unlocked
Remember that NPCS and EVENTS may be screwey"

Maybe it was meant to be the way you could travel to the Insommiac Museum after getting all of the in-game trophies but they instead decided to make it a teleporter in the starship phoenix that lets you travel to the Museum?

I was aware of this before recording, but neglected to mention it in the video.
Probably because the same flag that unlocks the missions also indicates that the cutscenes have already been played, hence not playing again upon your arrival (it thinks you've already seen them).
Also the "Unlock All Planets and Missions" can be used to access a secret vid comic, go to vid comic 1, go up and it is called #, it is unfinished, you can't beat.

This is pretty interesting, good use for speedruns.
You could swap out weapons you get in the play through and use different ones looks like a random weapons run could be possible
In 2007, I came up with the Mega Weapons Contest for Ratchet Deadlocked to make it a race to see which of the ten weapons would reach V99 first.
In 2013, I started a new challenge where in each playthrough, eight weapons are randomly assigned and those would be the ones I am allowed to use.
In 2020, I added a rule to that challenge where each of the eight randomly assigned weapons must be used throughout the game.
Ok so I did these codes without knowing and I can't seem to finish the game I tried to stop the code for the level one and that didn't work so I'm trying to see if there's something I can do do u know anything about this
I remember when a couple months ago it made all of my weapons disappear, my omega megaturret evolved into a v3 miniturret and my rynocerator disappeared. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU SHOULD COPY YOUR SAVE FILE TO NOT LOSE DATA.
# is obviously insomniac museum (IM) but I cant think of anything that could be the other one. Maybe it could be the removed racetrack that is playable on the IM or other featured/non featured IM stuff ?
By the way, in R&C1 metropolis. Does the "lonely swingshot" ball still exist ? You can see it howering behind the train station (take a leap from the first train towards the "back direction" of the second train and keep howering to that direction with swingshot. You should be able to see it)
(i did the weapon and gadget code) my missions are bug because i cant play the vid Comics and Qwark wasnt in the cage at the beginning and i played until the boss fight and there comes the cutescene not so i am stuck...
If you look closely at the background of "#", you can see it's actually the insomniac museum. But "level15_cityname" is forever and ever a mystery.
Could have been an extra level? Not quite sure if they were rushed.
level15_cityname is a early version of the multiplayer verison of metropolis.
Dude, do you know what the problem is with ratchet and clank 3 settings to gain fps because depending on the camera it gains but other places are slow please help me But one thing I know is not the processor
My game is messed up, I wish I had read all the comments.
The second planet on the map works normal at first, but when you do the turret section it's impossible they keep spawning and never stop.
But, I don't really care as much because I am going to try to find the ps2 version of it not the HD.
Bit late commenting on this now, but I cannot take Quark to his cage after using the unlock all weapons and gadgets code and cannot progress further than blackwater city... Guess I have to start again... Anyone else had this game breaking glitch? 😂
I did last year and learned to not enable certain gadgets too early in the game.
Looks like the # level is the museum. Pretty cool, I guess they were planning to make it a planet you can travel to.
That of course wasn't until _A Crack in Time_ when traveling there would be possible.
This is the FIRST R&C game i played as a kid and DAMN i loved it! (but i hated Qwark)

Doing the all mission unlock and planets one also unlocks the RY3NO for purchase off the bat, only problem really is actually getting that many bolts.

That all comes down to your personal opinion of what counts as a 'waste of time'. Can't answer that one for you.
Actually, it's okay to unlock any and all gadgets, including the Warp Pad, which lets you skip Aridia (I tried it and trust me: it works). It's just the Circle one that you can't use.
@@TheRealBlazingDiamond If you unlock the Hypershot too soon in the game, it will glitch you forward when you attempt to put Captain Qwark in his cage. The game will fast forward to the part where Captain Qwark calls up a plan for Aquatos.

is there a way to reverse the missions code? or like "relock" the missions? or is it stuck like that forever? i was messing around tryna guess the wrench code and accidentally input the missions code instead, and i just want to play the game normally :P I'm far enough into the game for it to be annoying to restart ( I've been doing as much in each level as possible, i.e as many skill points/ titanium bolts as possible without revisiting...)

"Nothing is going to corrupt your save" even though unlocking all planets (as well as enabling all gadgets) completely breaks the game and makes it unbeatable. Just go ahead and try to beat the Command Center level, I dare you
Not possible as you need the Hacker, which CANNOT be obtained from debug codes. Miniturrets may be used to get around, but you can't use the Gadgetron PDA to refill your ammo for Megacorp weapons should you run out of ammo.
So of you only unlocked the weapons and left the gadgets alone would it work? Im just curious since i want to do a playthrough but really dont feel like grinding for the guns.
I know what the # planet is you can get to it but not by flying there because it freezes there is a secret teleporter on metropolis right near when you land its actually a dev (developer) area to get there on the ps2 version i believe you must go there at midnight or 1 in the morning i think it probably works for ps3 go look it up on youtube type in ratchet and clank 3/uya developer portal and see it for yourself hope this helps

Well if someone is doing a Debug speedrun it would be alot more of a challenge to match who beat the game the fastest like in 10 minutes or 7 minutes.. you get the idea.

All I did was unlock all weapons and maybe its because I've been drinking too much but I'm stuck at Blackwater city. Annihilation Nation isn't even on my planets menu. It goes in order ; Florana, Starship Phoenix, Aquatos, Tyhrranosis, Daxx, Obani Gemini and Blackwater city since I've been playing from the beginning. The only missions I have currently are , Take Qwark to his cage and Meet with Courtney Gears. I cant meet with her if Annihilation Nation isn't on the map lol.. I'll drink another Octoberfest and think about this!
It's amazing you did that after 300 times finishing this I'd never thought to not take qwark to his "habitat" you gotta go to starship Phoenix and play a qwark vid comic.

with this one what unlocks all planets, it also unlocks all vid comics in phoenix and there is extra one called # wich is playable its the cut one available in the museum
Unlocking all of the gadgets will let you skip some levels. It jumps from Florana to Aquatos. That's good news for you speed runners out there.

I know I'm 4 years late, but I've had that glitch occur to me as well! It happened after the game crashed at some point, and a bunch of other stuff happened, like double jumping out of water. It only sticks on one save file, from my experience though.
Ok, but after I finish that biobliterator robot it still shows on screen...but at least no weapon changes (Blitz Gun to Hacker and N90 Hurricane disseparing)

The weapon code works with the gadgets 2 type the weapon code and get all weapons and gadgets
If you do the normal code but press x it unlocks the quark levels

I think the # planet is suppose to be Insomniac Museum.
This stuffed my game up. The the starship phoenix crew can't be rescued and I can't complete certain missions and all I need is one titanium bolt and four skill points until I get the platinum trophy. Any idea how to fix it?
There's no reversing the codes, from what I understand. I think your save is stuck like this. Sucks, but that's the risk you take when using debug codes unfortunately.
If you used these codes to sequence break, maybe some missions require you to complete some earlier missions.

I used the Unlock all Missions and Planets because my challenge mode save got stuck with take quark to his cage but allowed me to continue, then I got to a point where I was not able to move forward, so I used this but I cannot beat the game. I am not able to play the vid-games so I'll have to make another save and stat from new :(
I remoeved the Refractor and Thyhrra-Guise and this made Jungle Quark appear, and allowed me to complete Take Quark to his cage. Stuck on meet amanda on the bridge now.
How do you get the hiding spot item? The one that shows the green hiding spots.
That's the Mapper. You get that by completing the Ranger missions in Metropolis.
