I love theo and Peterson. Had NO IDEA this interview existed . This is an insane cross over for me and it’s so wholesome watching Jordan just laugh and have a silly conversation
Theo really brings out the best in everybody. Usually when Jordan Peterson is interviewed he seems tense and pragmatic. Refreshing to see him embrace his quick wit and laugh, we don’t see that side too often.
@@ImNotSure1010 hell yea! Even soe comedians have trouble recognizing theos humor in conversation. Jordan seemed to be delighted with it!
Welcome to the internet. You are extremely far behind
@@gamecop2191 Yeah, it was seriously surprising. There were a few points where he was genuinely overjoyed. It's rare to see anyone feel like that, let alone peterson, with how pragmatic he is.
same exact thought, like what lol but this is amazing
Theo: I'm 38, but I'm a late bloomer so I'm kinda maybe 32 really, but I'm also like an old soul, so I guess I'm back at 38.
That's that Dark Arts Math lol
@Nick Johnsen seen a lot of that in people who have been addicts or suffered trauma that has taken a long time to recover from. It's like normal development stops and needs to be caught up with afterward. I'm 43 and took a 15 years to properly get on my feet after abuse and addiction, I feel so much younger than my friends, but really it is that I'm 15 years less mature.
@@jumbo4billion looking at it that way makes me feel much less interesting

@Nick Johnsen i have pretty much the same story and feelings, right down to the age ranges.
😂
Theo Von has a great effect on Jordan Peterson!!! He brings out lighthearted joy in him.
This video made me really happy. Theo's profound simplicity, and overall friendly energy allowed Jordan to not JUST be the efficent and calculated icon he normally is, but also gave him the freedom to show a calmer, more relatable side. These two could make a lot of magic together.
Matthew Anderson they should make a baby 🤣🤣🤣
Archetypally, the Fool and the Wise Man are usually two sides of the same character. You can see that in our boy Theo here.
Haha theo can be equated to a jester/fool and Peterson hermit/wise man
Well Theo certainly is a fool that’s for sure
Matthew Olivera Kermit the Hermit! :'D couldn't help myself
Which is higher in the hierarchy?
@@w_stew8912 in the reality that is,i see them as both lower on the scale, about even actually. So many fools spread their words claiming wisdom when they are possessed by the ideas, while the wise ones words are lost amid the sound of music. Music, created to express, freedom of expression, the fools tool to express words unspoken with the sound that almost remains unbroken (true to weight meaning and inclusion of others in discussion.) The Sound of silence.
Once that oppressive background music is lifted, the wise man shows his face and the fools continue to follow in the suit of wisdom/true connection. In this the fool is almost attaining wisdom, and through the networks of background noise helps to present the idea itself to new audience of which in doing so shows wisdom in guidence and followers. Or foolishness by being possessed of the ideas and not actually contributing to topics. Parots.
Thats how i see it right now anyway.
Theo might legit be one of the funniest people out there. He doesn't even have to try. The words he uses, his creative perspectives and his delivery. Aces.
His mind is a gem
He's very funny in this kind of setting, where he can riff off of others. Love him doing the podcast - it fits him. I gotta say though that his stand up is not as good. It's still kinda funny but doesn't really suit him as well
@@tylers2889 he’s naturally funny in conversation, stand ups are funny writers and speakers. Key difference, in convo is actually way more witty. Just like how a lot of rappers cannot freestyle at all
I listen to him talk like a child excited for story time because you just never know what is going to come out of his mouth but you do know it’s going to be hilarious when it does 😂😂
This is so wholesome. It's so nice to see him so happy and feel so appreciated. He deserves this type of interaction much more.
I love when Jordan lets an “eh” slip out
That's exactly what I thought. I've recently been watching TONS of JP. JP is incredibly smart and the mere fact that Theo got him to slip an "eh" was awesome.

JP is literally a living legend, and with Theo at the Helm in this interview makes all of above even moreso true!
Thankyou Theo and thankyou Jordan Peterson for this wonderful viewing of both of your open conversations!

Theo Von's absurdisms can especially be enjoyed by someone with the staggering intellect of a Jordan Peterson. Theo has a truly gifted ability to analogize a topic.
Jordan and Theo are so clever that they add to each others jokes to make them 10x better
Theo is that guy who you think is just friendly and easy going, until slowly you realize his ability to empathize comedically every damn time is genius.

Theos silliness disappears and a genuine guy emerged when he spoke with JP and in return JP laughed so much. They brought the best out in each other. Love it
