Thx for this wonderful video again. It shows once again the importance of good gear, comprehend basic skills, being prepared when setting out and above all the love of nature. I have only done once in much more chill circumstances, no harsh winds, but just cold -10° or 14 Fahrenheit in idyllic settings haha (still was a experience for the first time to be honest).

I have said many times how much I love camping in rough weather conditions. This video is a perfect example of balance between skills, mental discipline and experience. With only the necessary gear required to survive, while at the same time maintaining your mental stability. In situations like this it is extremely important to understand that the only source of heat is your own body, and you can clearly see how methodically this body temperature is being preserved. Almost like tending a small fire! Bravo!
Thank you, yes the key is having dry clothes to change into once you stop working so that you dont start freezing from the swaeaty clothes, and then get into the sleeping bag to preserve the warmth.

We're just moving into winter in the Midwest & not used to the cold yet..... Seeing this & almost feeling the Freezing wind.... Makes me realize just easy we're having it here..... & How important preparation is - with good gear.... That Tent is Amazing.... Thanks...
This is the best video to watch at night on cold winter nights. It is exciting to watch but helps me to fall asleep in my warm electric bed with the sound of the wind and snow I live in Missouri rural area and we get snow and winter days of 10 F below 0 F with wind chill of 15 to 20 below zero sometimes. But the worst is our ice storms sometimes 5 to 6 inches of just ice. Everything stops then and poor cows freeze if not put up. The power lines snap and trees snapping sounding like bombs dropping. But some winters it is mild with no snow. Missouri known for crazy weather and springtime tornados!!! Keep making your great videos they are terrific. Would love to see Norway a most beautiful land.
I'm watching this from the comfort of my bed with the wind howling outside my window, adding to the atmosphere. But I'd love to be camping out there, just for one night though.
I’ve watched many “extreme blizzard” videos, only to find that the only thing extreme was the title. Now you setting up that tent in that insane, relentless wind..actually had me fearing for your life a few times, but you proved to be stronger than the elements..brilliant display of winter survival skills
I felt cold while watching this video, snowflakes a kind of obscure beauty,. Thank for taking us with you to your epic journeys, your videography is absolutely wonderful ❄️👌
I used to join in a camping group without basic knowledge. After 6 hours of hiking we set up tents, I felt very cold without knowing that I had to change my sweaty clothes. I am picking up little knowledge from threads. I am glad I found this channel.

Hi from Canada, We see the truly experienced one when you inflated the sleeping pad with the bag and not using your breath :) What I do is put the folding pad on the ground and then the inflating sleeping pad on top. Then, I add on top, one of those windshield screens for vans in the summertime. They are very lightweight and made of reflectix. You have to do that otherwise you're losing lots of body warmth to warm up the inflating sleeping pad. You can also set the reflectix windshield first, then the inflating sleeping pad, then the folding one. I really LOVE those boots cover. I want the same!
