Once again Jarl has made 10 goals at once. I love blizzards. The wind, the snow, but especially the sounds. Jarl is one of the few that allow us, the viewer, to enjoy the blizzard along with him. Not like the other campers who have a "click bait" of, "MAJOR STORM, BLIZZARD OF THE DECADE". Then they get all set up and then "say goodnight " and the next scene is the morning and they complain about the storm and how it kept them from sleeping. Well...THEY SHOULD GET UP AND FILM THE STORM SO WE CAN SHARE IN THE REASON WE ARE WATCHING !!! Thank you Jarl ! I will forever be your subscriber. Long live blizzards !
Thank you so much Thomas, I hope to be able to deliver upon what is in the title of my video, I have seen plenty of clickbait videos claiming snow storms without showing any lol!
We've lived in Wyoming for 15 yrs and had a storm just like yours one Christmas...lots of snow with 60mph sustained winds for the entire day and night...it was lovely and exciting...our son, daughter in law and 4 grandchildren all here with us. Great memory.
Love it! I am a Winter baby. Love the cold and snow. I breathe better, and generally feel healthier in cold weather. I appreciate you posting this video, as I am now too old to go on adventures.👍🏼❤️
I don't know where to begin complementing this outstanding adventure, NX! Your production quality is top-shelf. You put a lot of work into these videos and it shows. First time I've ever seen your van, it's really awesome. You would make an excellent astronaut, you approach survival with the same level of planning as they do! Thanks for another phenomenal post. I really enjoyed it. Cheers.
Wow, thanks Rick, really appreciate it, I got the van in October, so its the first trip. I have had a few days of minus 20°f or minus 29°c now and that is a different challenge again. Thanks for watching!
You're better than a storm chaser Jaal. I love that deep howl of the wind. It's just perfect. I only get to experience -4 degC. No snow. I think thats the lowest in my area. Then it can get up to 44degC, in summer!!! I love to be in wind like that too. It is exhilerating!!! White outs are beautiful.
Now this is different from the videos we are used to see! I love camper vans, especially when under such harsh conditions. I really enjoyed it during breakfast 😁👍
the beauty of having a well equipped van is knowing that no matter where you are, you can have a pleasant evening and a good sleep. nothing better than retiring to bed in adverse conditions.
True, but the other night I was parked on ice, and the van moved in the wind, maybe 10 cm or so, but it was unsettling, the next day a hurricane rolled in, but luckily I got out of Dodge
Nervous when you strayed too far from the van in the blizzard. Growing up in Minnesota, stories of farmers leaving the house to go out to the barns in a whiteout and getting lost and freezing to death. Uff da. Always the coffee to make life's hardships bearable!! Fun trip again.
The wind makes it so much worse. Glad you found a good place to park. By the way I love your sweater. I’m a knitter and love that pattern. Nothing like a good wool sweater in a blizzard
@@NorwegianXplorer I liked the Lillehammer sweater pattern too, the lanterns and your new van is super cool! (ha) Very cozy - sorry the road was closed and you were stuck there ~ of course Jarl you made the best of it. Glad your gas cap and doors weren't frozen :) Are solar panels an option for your van during the summer treks? Looks like a blast to me! In the Sierra Nevada mountains this winter it has snowed between 300 to 400 inches so far. 🏔
Well, I learned a few things that I really enjoyed in the US, people always saying hello and chatting in the line at the store, in the elevator, I love that, feels polite and you get a smile. In Norway many people are super grumpy, and I now find that quite rude honestly, I dont like that at all about Norwegians.
Mamma mia ! What a storm !! However, you love these extreme winter-conditions, don't you !? You take it with a big smile 😅 😂. I must say your kitchen-equipment seems quite practical.... In fact I was waiting for your coffee-pause ! What's more : your crunchy pizza crrr..... made me hungry..... And I'm sure you came home safe and well ! Thanks Jarl, for sharing those hours with us !

Ohio in the US. Too mild this year. Keep the videos coming!
@@beacee Thank you!
@Bea Cee Im from Ohio, too. Eastern OH, near WV panhandle. There is hardly any snow at all this year. Usually, we get at least one or two good snowfalls by now, but not this year.
Any snow now Ryan?
I so enjoyed watching you, I'm in Florida us and we never see snow, this looks so nice and cozy, once inside anyway lol
That is great to hear Donna, thanks for watching!
Love the video! Just subscribed! 👋👋👋
Hey Rebecca, thanks so much and welcome🙏
VanLife / Cooking show, like two other favs of mine: Foresty Forest and Adventure Van Man.
I love Foresty, need to check out AVM
@@NorwegianXplorer Yeah. He's kinda of a zen van lifer who's been doing it for five years (sober). He's all over the US, especially the deserts and West coast.
Great video, cheers from 🇨🇦
Thank you! Cheers!
Did someone actually bicycle to the store in a blizzard? You Norwegians are certainly a hearty bunch! 🙂
Lol, that was my question too and why I filmed it😂
Aero press makes great coffee

Thank you so much, sorry for the late reply, I have been out in the wild for 13 days!
