Very nice table. I like how you used separate plates and didn’t weld them to the frame (keeps from warping when welded). I never though to use 2 pieces of angle iron to box the slide extensions, another great idea!
Nice table! Lot of clever ideas ideas in there : ) Be careful using that tac tac tac tac method for your weld seams though. It might be easier to make a good looking weld that way, but to introduce enough heat into the joint for full penetration, it's generally best to weld a proper continuous bead.
Good job on the table! Question though. When finishing your welds after fit up and tacking, why don’t you run a bead on anything as opposed to just lots of tacks? Great job otherwise!
Hi there, wonderful build. Can you please tell me where you got your bolt for the floating table, I can’t find them anywhere. The ones that I have found have shoulders on them?
Nice welding table. I have been using Sigemund welding tables for a long time. Make stops in the holes where you can support yourself with the pipes when you weld them together and then they are already set at 90 degrees. this if the holes are made at 90 degrees.
I've been looking at reproducing this table for my build. I'm fairly confident on build dimensions using some 3D drafting software and spending sizeable time with your video. I have been looking for the cabinet you used. Can you identify make/model or at minimum, can you identify size (length, width, and height) of the green cabinet? Thank-you
@@VuVT-Workshop
There's a couple people that are certified welders here. I feel like most of us that watch this aren't worthy of even attempting to weld anything. We should probably all just give up on life, switch sexual preferences, and start stealing catalytic convertors. 😂 Dude this is a great little fab table. You can get by with a lot simpler, but a table like that sure is easier and less frustrating to work on. Congrats
I would not set the spray can on bottom end of cart!!! Your asking for an explosion when a piece of HOT slag fall on it, not IF WHEN cause it will happen!!! 💥
Watching from a perspective of a person who wants to build one myself... the video doesn't show any of the interesting parts. So making of accurate holes in the plates + positioning the places precisely + in-depth leveling setup. The rest is not that important. In other words didn't see anything of value to me.
What I'm doing is sharing that idea. What you need to do is equip yourself with knowledge. You think that creating plates is extremely difficult. That's because your knowledge is not enough. Using CNC laser cutting technology, you can cut anything to the desired size. In the comments section, people also politely asked me the size of the plates and I also shared them. If you asked me politely, I would be willing to share, but you don't know how to do that, which is sad. Or if you have search skills, you can search on company websites. Finally, you should remember that each person has different needs

You just need to oil the table top.
Very nice table. I like how you used separate plates and didn’t weld them to the frame (keeps from warping when welded). I never though to use 2 pieces of angle iron to box the slide extensions, another great idea!
Thank Bro! After a long period of use, you can turn the iron plates over and you will have a new table top
Did you drill the table plates yourself, i never saw you do that, or were they pre-made?
Best designed fab table I've seen in a while. If you could make a set of plans for that table, it would make a relly nice side hustle!
Thank you, I will make plans for it soon

@@VuVT-Workshop He is right. Tac, tac, tac, welding is a cold weld.. and not a strong one. Continuous ones are better.. specialy for structural welds.

to save cost for table top and easy to clamp
