I have one, it's handy for a lot of jobs....my granddaughter was using it as a easel on a recent stay, she thought it was magic.

I bought the larger version with the slag tray. Love it. Granted i dont plan on welding much on it but i do heat up things often. Considering i think it is made rather well. Certainly is handy for me. Also being portable and foldable is a huge plus.
I have one similar to this, excellent for the home or very small shop. nice for tacking up projects and able to place many items I to position for a " flat" weld position. Light. but great for my use. Enjoyed the video Steve, cheers!
That was a good demo of the features Steve. I have a similar table and it is just right for the welding I do. Clamps fit slots well and as the table folds it takes little space in the workshop. Light to carry into the open so reducing fire risk when when using ARC or TIG.
I’d agree Steve I bought the same model month ago as a TIG welding table is excelled especially for the price great review
The slots are a love/hate relationship. Love for clamping and hate cause stuff tends to fall through!
.....and doubt it would hold 400lbs.
How about putting a piece of the shipping box on the top as I did. Or a piece of rubber matting when not in welding mode.

Is the top more of a lite weight sheet metal?? I just can't really tell.

A good review as always, but I can’t help but think the the money would have been better spent on similar size piece of 10mm steel plate. And sitting it on a workmate or homemade equivalent
I prefer this one to some steel plate as it has the much needed 3 cut-out slots for the G cramps plus the slide up fence edges. For the price, it's an amazing piece of kit. Regards Steve
I done exactly that, modified my old workmate into a welding table of sorts.
I'd really like to see a cheaper version of a professional one, the type that's got hundreds of holes in it, solid block of steel rather than plate. I don't mind paying a couple of hundred or so, can't afford thousands, that's what they go for.

That could be useful, I've been welding on a concrete slab!
The zinc coating seems sub-optimal. And the lips under the slots seem like they would get awkward sometimes. I'd like to see how much the table top flexes when a 300 pound gorilla leans on a clamped-on workpiece.
I have one, it ain't a pro fab table, but very handy for the price.
I can't see anything wrong with the zinc coating. I'm not worried about flex as I never do really large heavy work. This one is ideal for general purposes welding. Regards Steve
