correction, stranger things is out. that's a mistake on my part. i honestly had no idea it must've been a quiet release because i had no clue it even released. with that being said, we're still waiting on bigger games (attack on titan).

True the headset works awesome I have had no problems with it in the 6+ months I’ve had it
I got my quest 3 on day 1 it came out. Love it and had no issues.
If you have a Q2 and thinking about upgrading to a Q3... spend the money on GPU first if you don't have a good PC for PCVR. Then upgrade later to the Q3. PCVR is really what VR should be.
Did this in this order. First, I got the Q2... then I upgrade my whole system... and now - after 1 1/2 years - I replaced my Quest 2 with the Quest 3.
PCVR >>> Quest 3 VR

What a load of crap. The interface is fine, but you do need an after market strap. No biggie £15 from Ali Express, job done
6:25 what!?!?!?!?! Only 500(for the cheap one, I'm guessing) mine ranges from 600$ to 800$
So q3 doesn't have the silicone cover as q? Also most peple praise the increased fov on q3 but you say its not viable because you need your eyes too close to the screen?

@@Giants83 I got q3 today, it doesn't have a silicone cover, but it's more comfortable as it is. Much better device overall.

I don't get all the bashing on VR.
It's easily the best technology in 21st century just like the pc and the internet were in the 20th century which opened up massive of possibility.
Just let it breath, it needs time to develop. I'm pretty sure Quest 3 is even better than Quest 2 that I owned which is the best $300 ever spend
People are really impatient these days to watch things grow. I keep thinking back to the motion controls of the Wiimote and now we have VR motions that is much more accurate and interactive. My Quest is so versatile. I have a movie theater, multiple mini golf courses, table tennis, bowling alley, a gym, and much more. The value for price is insane. These kinds of videos are people who don't understand the technology and just mislead people.
@@Drstrange3000 Yea is quite laughable that some people spend a lot their time making video on some product that they have zero effort of learning about. Probably a desperate for views other than educate people in any form.
As for Wiimote, I'm not really impressed of its gimmick back in the day, but it is eventually evolved on something much better like VR

The Pass Through is pretty good. The games for this quest 3 are there.... but at the moment you said "the controllers are top peak - besides the Index Controllers".... nope.
The Index Controllers are so bad... and the tracking (besides you will need at least 2 stations to track them) is so bad, even with 3--5 stations.
Facts my dude. You should have MINIMUM 8GB VRAM! The gpu should be adleast a 3060ti or a rx 6700, 16gbram is fine but modded beat saber took 20gb from me, also you should have a newer 6 core cpu like adleast a ryzen 5 3600 since the oculus link running in the background likes more cores, use a good cable nor wireless, wireless is super sucky, get a good cable and then use the oculus debug tool to increase the resolution width and bitrate, make sure your gpu is modern it can be powerful but the encoder the sends the signal to the headset might not be fast enough, nvidia 20/30/40 series have fine encoders amd is usually worse with encoders so have adleast a 6000 series to play, i have a rx 5700and it was barely usable.

Tbh my mom is getting me a vr headest she said she would get me the Q3 but then i watched this then i told her to get the Q2 since it’s way more cheaper and worth it so it’s gonna come soon

Quest 2 is fine. Really awesome $300 device but the ipd adjustment is the worse in industry even a $10 cardboard box VR that you slide a smartphone in for fake vr experience have far better ipd adjustment
