- This meditation session is intended to help you more easily fall asleep, and also sleep more deeply and comfortably. Allow me to first guide you, then fade away as the soundscape helps to move you toward a deep, relaxing sleep. Wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready for a new day. I recommend listening at night when going to bed, wearing comfortable headphones or earbuds.

This is one of the most relaxing videos I have ever heard in my life. I suffer from social and generalized anxiety, severe arthritis and a very stressful job. Please do a guided meditation on intrusive thoughts.
I know this was 5 years ago, but I’d thought I’d still share just in case any one else needed the information :) I was in a partial hospitalization program recently, and we learned about different kinds of thoughts (like intrusive thoughts) and how to challenge them.
If you’re ever in a situation where you get an intrusive thought, the best way to “get rid” of it, is to acknowledge you’re having an intrusive thought and then letting it leave your mind like air. There’s multiple ways you can do this like the blue sky mind, Teflon mind, or party mind techniques. There’s probably hundreds of other ways online too :)
When you challenge intrusive thoughts by constantly thinking about them and saying they’re a problem, your brain feeds on this. Since after you’ve “defeated” that intrusive thought or it’s out of your brain, you feel rewarded and happier. So, in order to keep making you feel rewarded and happier, your brain produces more intrusive thoughts. So the best way to challenge these thoughts is to acknowledge the thought, know that it’s completely normal to have these thoughts (there are multiple psychological studies showing this), and use one of the skills like blue sky mind, etc. to try and calm your anxiety down in the moment. After a few days or so of doing this routine, you should start to get less and less intrusive thoughts within the day, etc.

Just dont react to your negative thoughts, let them be just continue focusing on the sounds of your breathing. Say in and out in your head . It will drown out the negativity!

Last night I had one of the worst anxiety attacks that would NOT go away. The whole situation with imagining that you leave your body and observe your room and your resting body completely freaked me out and jolted me awake.

I recomend this to every person I hear struggle with sleeping. And they’re always shook when it actually WORKS. I started listening to this in a desperate time with a metabolic disease (hypertyriosis) that made it impossible to sleep, even though I had a colic baby! I fell asleep within minutes. Been listening to sleep meditations for years and this is truly one of the best. Am wondering though if you have the same type in a 50 or 60 min version because it takes me longer to unwind? I have to hit replay on this one at least 3 times to get to sleep so a longer meditation would help. Thanks.
This really helped me get into the sleeping mood, Sadly, I could not fall asleep. Hey, meditation isn’t for everyone, right? Anyways, I have some quick feedback. First: a some points, you got really close to the mic, so, leave some space for Jesus or whatever. Second: The pauses were really well done and really helped me doze off for a bit, but I feel you came back a bit loud. Maybe next time you could be a bit more quieter later in the video. Anyways, thank you so much and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I think im the only one who does not like this video. All the videos where they count down makes me so much more anxious for some reason. And when he says " drifting off " makes me even more anxious. I have learned that sleep meditations make me more anxious for some reason though
