It made me chuckle as well. I have recently done a watercolour drawing of a rocky stack on the Isle of Skye. The whole picture is mainly muted browns and greys and it cried out for a little bright colour. I thought about putting a couple of rock climbers in brightly coloured lycra half way up it and did a quick google on a couple of climber's sites to see whether anyone had done it. The answer was that the rock was brittle, crumbly, very dangerous and a thoroughly unpleasant experience. So my picture of the Storr has no climbers on it.

I loved painting along with you on this one and really impressed my husband when I showed him the painting the next day. He said, "You did all that last night?" I learn so much from watching you. Now I'm not afraid of putting figures into my paintings. I did the rainy city street a couple of days ago. And of course, I love the humor you throw into your videos. Makes it all the more fun. Then I had to do some more research on Constable and his famous painting. Thanks so much!

Absolutely wonderful, Paul! I sooo enjoyed this one! I was wondering about how to bring in figures into watercolor! These tutorials, in my opinion, are so easily explained by you! I’ve seen other watercolor artist videos but they just don’t compare to yours. I have to say; your style and approach suits what I am always looking for. Others are talented as well, but my taste has always brought me back every Wednesday! Thank you for sharing your gift and encouraging all of us! God bless you, sir!

That was a magic tutorial Paul. I have often painted something that I thought needed some 'life' in it but was terrified to attempt putting in figures in case I ruined my 'masterpiece'. I am genuinely going to do what you said and practice this over and over until it comes kind of naturally to me. The overall painting is really wonderful. Thank you so much.
