    There weren't many videos on youtube showing how to access the keyswitch so I hope you liked that part! Leave a comment below on what you thought about the video and what your experience with voltage reducers has been. Thanks for watching!

      Dose the step down converter drain the 48 Volt battery by just keeping it connected? even when the converter is not in use? just curious

      @@alexshatner3907 When it's connected to the cart using the keyswitch wire, it doesn't draw any current. This is what's nice about getting a converter which has a keyswitch wire because there is no concern of a constant draw when the cart is turned off. Hope this helps.

      Hi, i have a question about my key switch wire. On the Blue DC converter the green wire is for the key switch. Why do you connect it to the solenoid instead of running it and connecting it to key wire behind the key area.

      @@alexeyafanasiev4795 This is specific to the RXV, it's because the controller is sensitive and can easily get fried.

    You can wrap electrical tape around your golf cart wrench tools to add additional short circuit safety.

    You should have used heat shrink over your electrical connections it makes it waterproof

      You're right and many of them I've gone back and replaced.

    Best to run to a fuse block instead of attaching to battery

      Battery > Reducer > Fuse Box. Definitely recommend using one, see this video for that part of the process ua-cam.com/video/0G8mDJWJPtQ/v-deo.html

    So which terminal on the solenoid do you use? Thank you!

      There is a link in the video description which shows a picture of how I and several others have attached the keyswitch wire to the solenoid. I'm not responsible for anything you do or don't do in this regard.

      I did see the picture however it’s not clear which terminal on the solenoid is used, positive or negative. I’m assuming positive?

    On your rxv which color wire from your key switch did you tap into out of the four wires there?

    • @StreetwiseCarts
      @StreetwiseCarts  Рік тому +1

      On the RXV you should not tap into the keyswitch wires, instead, many people go to the solenoid. There is a photo in the description of that.
