I just did the process with mine. This channel's info was really helpful. In case anyone was curious, I spent $325 for parts. I spent $440 in various gov't related fees for application fee, title, license plate etc. I rented a Uhaul trailer to tow it to the local waste transfer station to get it weighed and that was around $40. Monthly insurance is around $50. It wasn't cheap by any means. Also, the in person inspection is no longer required, they used all the documentation and pictures instead of in-person inspection of the cart.

that's ok but what if you don't have the wiring harness already there, pretty easy otherwise, even I could do it but my 2017 RXV didn't come with brake lights so I don't see a wiring harness to clip it to.

Why does everyone mount the side mirrors up so high? They look much better down lower and there’s no difference in view for the driver

Interesting. Price is fairly reasonable, but I don't like that it can only be used on one cart. So, whatever part it reprograms (ECM? Motor?) would completely obsolete your speed chip if you ever had to replace that part. I wonder if they'd make more money "renting" a multi-cart programmer for, say, $49 - $79, rather than producing these one-time-use circuit boards.

I just bought this! 2023 RXV WITH 20 inch tires… was 22 mph … now 28 and much smoother to drive! GREAT PRODUCT

Just a couple things to note, in the state of Florida, there are no requirement to have a windshield wiper or a slow moving vehicle triangle. Straight from the Florida DMV website - www.flhsmv.gov/pdf/mv/lowspeedvehicles.pdf

Great video. Straight forward instructions. One question. Other videos on ECO/RXV replacement has the voltage reducer orange withe (Key switch) going to the cold terminal of the key switch. Your instruction has the orange wire going to the solenoid with the copper strip. Do both procedure accomplish the same result - shuts off voltage reducer when key is in the off position? Hi Paul, once your golf cart is converted to an LSV can it be driven on any and every road whatsoever in the state of Florida that has a speed limit of 35 mph or less? Also, are you allowed to cross streets at junctions where the cross street has a speed limit of more than 35 mph?

Do the linked Amazon parts provide the correct paperwork for Florida inspectors?

Is there a minimum height that the bottom or top of the license plate has to be and did you install on the drivers side for a reason other than to get is closer to a tail light?
