Hi Lexi, beautiful look! We can always count on you to pull overtime for an entire deep dive into Sisley and what you recommend accompanied by demos/swatches for anyone interested in taking advantage of the sale. You really have such an extensive collection and know the brand and products inside out! This isn't just a channel based on luxury beauty reviews, it is a channel filled with educational, highly researched overviews and unbiased opinion. Thank you for your tremendous efforts! 🥰❤👏
Thank you so much Pam! I truly appreciate it and try to be a good reference so people can make wise decisions for their own needs. I'm so glad that it comes across in my videos. Thank you for all of your support!
Hi Lexi, when i have to buy any products i just come to your video to see real swatches, you are the only one who show us close arm and hand swatches which is so damn helpful to understand the shades ❤
Not a comment about Sisley that I of course love but your nails Lexi are such a joy to look at, I’m always looking forward to seeing what you have on. It’s like a staple for you, always nice and innovative nail colors 🎉❤
@@LexiJong😂 totally agree with @anasamuel3210 thanks to you I can now wear dark varnish. Love my mooncat you recommended ( purple grey sparkle). Was just thinking need to look at what else you have that I can get.
Hi Lexi, what a great video. I love how you show us the blushes on your arm. So I decided to be your follower now due to how honest you are on the videos and that helps a great deal. Thanks and Happy Easter 🎉
Shade 24 is a beautiful coloured lippy for you! I also love my ENORMOUS blush in coral, and am contemplating the other two shades, although perhaps more the original nude/light bronzer shade before the pink one.
Hello Lexi, I am always interested to see your eye color combinations; so creative, artistically applied. Applying pale blue on top of bronze - I don’t think I would have seen that as a possibility. (I have an art degree) So, consider this a high compliment! Love how it looks. Thanks Lexi
I discovered Sisley powder baked eyeshadows 2 weeks ago and purchased many of them. I love them cause they do not cantain aluminum or aluminum salts! Finally a luxury option for sensitive skin!
Wow thank you so much 😍 this was waaaaaaay more helpful than any counter visit I’ve ever had with this brand. You are so awesome to do these extensive videos all the time. Your content is just the entire top shelf 🌈
Thank you so much Lexi!! My mom gave me her blur expert powder in the beige shade and I really like it. Most days, I use that by itself. You look great as always!! ❤
Lexi, I don’t know if I understand right, does Selfriges have sales sometimes too? I’m new for Selfriges (big thank to you:)) and really enjoying to save some money specifically on Sisley)
❤Thanks so much for this detailed, helpful guide!! Hopefully this is a UK sale too😅 I really like the look of green and peachy gold eye twists, the light blue eyeshadow and the grey shimmery eyeliner. For the lips I want to try the nude lip twist and the Rose Tokyo 😍It's the prettiest peachy rose I've seen in a while
Wow what a great in-depth video I don’t live near to where I can test these out in person and your lighting and everything for the swatches was just perfect and gave me all the answers I needed thank you so much. Also I wonder if you can mix the foundation you said was too light for you with the one you said is too dark and if it will have a nice finish to it? Lol
Lexi, outstanding review on Sisley products!! Your collection is massive you should be a Sisley ambassador 😆. I’m a big fan of many of their makeup products like lipstick, lip twists, phyto rouge shine but I don’t own many of the glosses. I own some of the eyeshadows, eye twists, and eyeliners. I have all three of the orchid blushes those are so beautiful! Big fan of the blur powder using it daily under foundation. As for skin care I like the eye contour mask, rose mask, rose eye contour fluid, exfoliating enzyme mask. Lots of great products from Sisley too many to list. I definitely don’t have a collection like yours. So I appreciate all the swatches and it’s so helpful since I don’t think their website is always accurate on shades. Thank you for doing this video during the Sisley sale!! 😊🌺
Thank you Lora! I love the skincare items you named as well. I remember when Sisley used to have a subscription box and it was such a great way to try out their skincare. I think it was $10 - 15 and you would get travel sizes of 5 or 6 products every month. It definitely was the influence I needed at the time to get hooked on their skincare. I wish they would bring that service back.
Thanks for the review! Sisley is one of my favorite lines, especially the compact foundation and their blushes. Also love their Black Rose skin care line…very expensive, but always a treat.
Yes, Sisley skincare is definitely a treat. I've always wanted to try their La Cure system but the sale never pops up at the right time for my budget, lol.
Thanks Lexi for highlighting the Sisley sale! I stocked up on my favorite makeup remover balm - and facial cleanser. They are out of refills for sheer rosewood lip gloss but they did accept a placeholder to alert me when back in stock. So many goodies from a premier brand. Have a great day! ❤
Thank you so much for the recommendations! I have been using SIsley skin care and makeup for 30+ years and my skincare and haircare needs are different from yours, so I already have a cartfull of different products, but I am going with several of your lipstick recommendations, namely the Bourgeois Rose and Tokyo Rose lipsticks as well as two of the matte pencils. Great video, as always!
@@LexiJong OK, here are my favorite Sisley non-makeup items: the black rose oil over the black rose moisturizer when my skin barrier has been damaged by windburn, sunburn or any other irritant; black rose moisturizer on hot summer days; black rose mask whenever I need extra moisturizing because it never irritates my skin; the buffing cream when my skin is peeling from retin-A; eye/lip makeup remover. If your skin never peels you can forego the buffing cream.
Thank you, Lexi, for your swatches. I love Sisleyès products and found that even though they are expensive, they are worth it and even better if you can get them on 20% sales. I have so many of the Sisley products you featured in this video. I just ordered yesterday the following: 1)Blush Pink Peony, 2) Rouge Shine lipstick Sheer Petal 3)Phyto Rouge Rose Tokyo, 4) Mascara So Stretch in Deep Black, and 6)Sisleya Essential Skin Care Lotion. Last year when I bought over $1,000, they gave the the skincare lotion as a gift and I am hooked. I put the lotion on to soften my skin before putting on skincare products, and it is amazing. Just 6 items already cost $591 after taxes (In Quebec we pay 14.975% sales taxes, yeah).
Excellent Video Lexi. Very helpful, thank you. I hope Sisley is watching. I don't understand why your subscriber count is not increasing at a faster rate. Do you think you tube is not registering the "like" clicks?
Thank you so much! I honestly have no idea. Some people seem to grow so quickly and others don't but I'm not sure why, particularly when we have the same tags and so forth.
Thank you for this amazing Sisley swatch party, very helpful for future purchases! I have rebought the Phyto-Poudre Compacte 2 Natural, it’s one of my favorite pressed powders, pity the packaging feels really cheap. I also love the Blur Expert, I have both shades. I use the deeper one when I have a tan and I use them both as a powder primer as well as on their own sometimes, when my skin looks good and I don’t want a lot of coverage. The Eye Twists in 16 (taupe) and 1 (topaze) are my main go-to eyehadow sticks, I keep buying them over and over. I think I do prefer them over Bobbi Brown/Laura Mercier/VB eyeshadow sticks. 🤔 I have two of the single eyeshadows, silky sand and silky steel, but I don’t use them often. I find them hard to pick up and blend, even with a good brush. I definitely wanna try the Phyto-Blush some day but I have so many blushes already…Also wanna try the lip twist and the shine lipstick in the future and I will come back to this guide to help me pick a color, so thank you again!
Thank you so much for sharing! If you try the single shadows on top of the sticks, let me know what you think. For me, that is the best application for them. I'm curious if that would work better for you. Thank you for watching!
Pam (below) said it better than me - fantastic video! Sisley is one of my favourite make up brands - can't afford the skincare though! So many things to note but must tell you, I very recently bought the So Stretch in the brown shade and I love how natural it is and how comfortable to wear - that is thanks to your recommendation Lexi 👍 Eye pencil in Tonka is great to tight line. Love the Phyto Twist in Pearl shade for a 'no-makeup' enhancement on the mobile lid on a 'no make up' day and the baby pink on my lids is a lovely base for one of my Suqqu palettes light pink shimmery shades that doesn't show up very well on its own - the Sisley steps in to enhance 😊Topaz Phtyo Twist is another lovely cream eye shadow - neutral but with a hint of warmth and so creamy and comfortable. These are my favs. Mustn't forget the Sparkling Steel powder shadow - very pigmented and the Rosewood Phyto lip shine, which is lovely. I don't have a huge make up collection so I am thrilled to share and join in here!
I am so glad you love the Sisley mascara! I think I need to get the Pearl shade. You have such a great selection of favorites! Thank you so much for sharing Annie!
I just filmed a short comparing the l'orchidée 1 to 3 and was very surprised at how similar they turned out. The rosiness of 3 is very subtle, barely noticeable. I really see them as equivalents, 3 being the best option for fair, 1 best for medium and deeper complexions, buildable to a punchier coral warmth
What a fantastic and thorough brand review! You truly bring so much helpful info and swatches to the table ! 🤩 I’ve not purchased anything from Sisley…. Yet! This same looks like my time to strike! 🪧 m going to have to watch this video several times and take notes!!
@@LexiJong Just like I thought, this is my 4th (5th?) time watching this video making my list of what to get in their next sale. Your videos are always the most thorough and helpful! They stand the test of time! Whenever I am wondering about a product or shade the first thing I do is search the product and your name on UA-cam!
Great video Lexi !! Love Sisley especially L’orchidee 1 blush but now you really got me wanting 3 . Thanks for all the swatches super helpful as always 🤗❤️
Hi Lexi! I love the Orchidee blush in Rose, but it's OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive, to be honest, no matter how pretty it looks 😐😱 I was thinking of buying the new Rare Beauty luminous one, but I'm afraid it's a bit too shimmery for a daily use... Have a very nice weekend ❤
Hi Lexi, just an update: I got the pink peony blush and it pairs so well with the YSL bronzer in shade 2 that I think I have found the holy grail!! I can’t explain it, they just go so well together!
It was nice but then this was crazy trying to catch up on everything and all the school activities starting up again. I'm overwhelmed already, lol. How was your week?
I binged all your old Sisley videos last night, haha! Your current camera and lighting are so bomb, so thanks for doing another video. I love their hair care, and I have a few face masks. You actually got me into the makeup. I love the eye shadow sticks and eyeliners, so long lasting on my hooded oily eye lids. I shopped the sale yesterday and got 1 lipstick (sheer raspberry)1 eyeliner (mystic gold) 1 eye stick (in copper) & 1 blush is the golden rose. I may shop again and grab that hydrating face mask. I’d love to know, do the foundations have any fragrance?
Thank you so much! The foundations have fragrance unfortunately. It's one of the drawbacks but the fragrance isn't as noticeable as in some brands imo.
Maybe start with just one thing you actually need and see how you feel about the brand. I would definitely recommend checking out their gift sets section because you can get some good deals and most of them will work with the 20% off.
Definitely interested in the mascara, eye liners sticks and singles. I am gonna go broke 😂so many pretty shades. I have a sample of the hair oil and I was like it's a hair oil how much can I like it well I'm in love with it thinking about actually purchasing it , it's so good and smells amazing. * O the U beauty tint just showed up from Skinstore and so weird it was just brought by regular USPS and stuck in the mailbox why idk I could barely get the box out the mail box. So I'm about to try it , I'm getting ready.
Oh I hate it when they jam the boxes in the mailbox even though they don't fit! I recently had to cut up a box while it was in the mailbox just to get it out. It must be hard to shove it in too so not sure why they do that. I hope you like the U beauty tint. Please let me know what you think of it!
Enjoyed watching. I can really cherry pick from this brand now, as I have such faith in your opinion. I used to wear toffee, many moons ago by Mary quant blush baby. I am still searching for a 'toffee' shade, the search continues 🙄
Would you know anything about the shelf life of the cushion? It's such a difference in price point from the Korean cushions I've used, I'm trying to justify it 😅 thanks lexi for the recommendations!
There is a 1 year shelf life. I can't remember how long my cushion lasted before I refilled it but iirc, you can get 6-9 months of daily use with it depending on how much you use at once and I flipped it back and forth a few times before finally replacing it.
Can I ask if you know of a finishing powder that has a pearlescent finish to it? I’ve been looking for one without talc but am not sure which one you think is nice? I guess I’ll just try the hourglass one?
It was maybe early December? I don't recall exactly but I've had these items sitting in a box waiting for a video since then. Lol. I really need to clean and reorganize my room!
@@LexiJong haha, you have so much!! Lexi, it’s only March and I already spent over $5K CAD, that’s 50% of my budget in less than 3 months of 2024. That’s so discouraging!!
Hi lexi i watched your videos, they are very useful. I want to shimmery blush. I wonder your opinion. Which is better, hermes rose cuirve or sisley orchidee blush ?
The Hermes has more shimmer than the Sisley l'orchidee but I love the subtlety of the Sisley so that is my favorite. Another shimmery option is the RMS blushes. Those are really nice too. I would actually choose the RMS option over the Hermes if you want something more shimmery as there are more color options and the shimmery Hermes ones lean more golden overall.
So, what I have currently (and to date for Sisley), excluding the ones I just placed an order for yesterday are: Sisley Phyto Teinte Ultra Eclat in 00C Swan, Sisley Phyto Teint Nude in 1C Petal (for the summer), Sisley compressed powder in Rose, Sisley loose powder in Rose DèOrient, Sisley Blur Powder in shade 0, Sisley Concealer in Light, Sisley Orchidee blush in Rose. Lipsticks I have Shine Sheer Rosewood, Shine Sheer Blossom, Phyto Rouge Beige Manhattan, Phyto Twist in 1 Nude, Twist in 11 Litchi, Sisley Gloss Sweet, and Sisley Lipliner in Rose Passion. For eyes, I have, Sisley Phyto-Eye Twist in Steel, Liquid eyeshadow in Copper, and Phyto-Ombres in Silky Cream. Those are only makeups. I also invested heavily in their skincare products. I love them very much, actually. Except for the double Tenseur, they have not disappointed me.
Actually I have very hooded eyes and I got the chance to try it while I was in airport waiting for my flight and now I am obsessed I am gonna pick it up. My flight was 17 hours and it didn’t budge or smudge I was shocked 😮❤
The only product that I am disappointed on Sisley is one of the most expensive primers: the Double Tenseur!! It is so dry, so dry!! I donèt recommend it for mature skin.

Enjoyed watching. I can really cherry pick from this brand now, as I have such faith in your opinion. I used to wear toffee, many moons ago by Mary quant blush baby. I am still searching for a 'toffee' shade, the search continues 🙄
Thank you so much Elaine! Good luck on the hunt!
Thank you so much for all of these great swatches and your expertise. Have a fun break with your kids. ❤
Thank you so much!
Can I ask if you know of a finishing powder that has a pearlescent finish to it? I’ve been looking for one without talc but am not sure which one you think is nice? I guess I’ll just try the hourglass one?
How pearlescent do you want? I think the Guerlain meteorites are really nice for a pearlescent finish. They are now talc free.
@@LexiJong okay yay amazing thank you soooooo much, I will get that one!! 😍♥️🦢🙏🏼
Hi Lexi, when did Selfridges had a sale in this winter? I obviously missed it!
@@LexiJongthanks a lot❤
Great nail polish color. What is it please?
Thank you! It's Mooncat Lovebomb.
Nice choices! There are a few things on your list that I want to get.
A good volume mascara is what I need, so stretch might be too lengthing on my hooded eyes tbh 😏
Actually I have very hooded eyes and I got the chance to try it while I was in airport waiting for my flight and now I am obsessed I am gonna pick it up. My flight was 17 hours and it didn’t budge or smudge I was shocked 😮❤
It's so good!
I think you may suit Rose Milano.
Thank you! I'll check that one out!
Hello please what lipstick are you wearing in the video?
Phyto Rouge 24
Thanks
Do you know when the Sisley sale ends?
I think it will end Monday 3/25/24
42 Sheer Cranberry ☀
Agree with the Hydra Global moisturizer, such a disappointment😢
Such a shame because the booster is holy grail for me.
The only product that I am disappointed on Sisley is one of the most expensive primers: the Double Tenseur!! It is so dry, so dry!! I donèt recommend it for mature skin.
Yes, that one was not for me either but I know it's wonderful for other people. I think the Surratt primer is just the best.
The lip pencils are ridiculously expensive. They are the most expensive that I've ever seen.
They really are! I will only get them on sale.
