THANK YOU for the super close ups!! I watch on my phone and I can't never see the reality of a product. Your day light, super close up, built up, and buffed out swatches are some of the best true to life views of a product I've seen anywhere. You are a wallet saver and help to reduce waste. While I'm not quite as fair as you and we have a little different in taste of what we want, your description and clear view in good lighting plus knowing your skin type and how much more fair you are compared to me has really helped me know much more about what I am to expect. I just had to pause the video to say this. I've been watching for a few years and you are getting better and better at this. Truly have not seen another creator do as much as you are. Even when they don't use filters, they are too far away to even see the texture of their skin. Their lighting is very flattering for them. Things don't appear true to life. I have bought many products from your recommendations and am rarely surprised by anything as you did such a good job at helping me know what I'm ordering. Thank you!!! Video resuming...
I'm waiting for LE to bring out more shades of the matt liquid eyeshadows before purchasing. I'm glad I waited for your review because they all looked warm to me & it's interesting that Ione which is described as cool actually has a warm undertone. Looking forward to the powder show down!
Am I the only one who purchases powders and products so that I can use my brushes? I am really looking forward to your powder update. You have a wonderfully nuanced approach to colour and finish. Thank you for the swatches and demonstrations and comparisons. You manage to introduce a lot of information.
@@LexiJong but do you welcome a different texture and hunt your collection for the right fibre, shape and density like your life depends on it❓it is a bit too much but so fun 😂
I must say I really like how the Sisley eyeshadows look! The taupe and gold seem great one and done shadows 😊the sparkle is not too chunky or piecey looking and it has a nice amount of pigmentation. It didn't look too heavy for a soft look or requiring add colours to be added. They did last so well!
Wow, I have had the exact opposite experience with the LE matte liquid eyeshadows and the Armani matte liquid eyeshadows. The LE creases on me, regardless of whether I wear a primer underneath. The Armani does not crease on me and does not need a primer- it's bulletproof on me. It's a good reminder that makeup is always YMMV!
I just got them yesterday and I've been wearing the plum one. It is easy to blend out with a fluffy eye brush, enough time for me to manipulate and bend it out before it dries down very well. I have nars eye shadow primer layered on first - no balling. Stays on all day without creasing.
I am so much looking forward to your powder review! The one from two or three years ago, I still go back to look up specific powders I am interested in ❤. Thanks for the LE palette review. I was intrigued but not anymore. Not enough differentiation and not neutral enough.
The Sisley Paris - Ombre Eclat Liquide, the new shades, look so elegant on you. I prefer the Givenchy Prisme Libre 00 Tulle Opalescent in the new formula. Just beautiful Lexi! Thank you.
You do the best reviews and videos! Hope all is well with the girls’ re-entry into school! I did pick up the Ione and the Lisa Eldridge and the new palette. I tired the Ione and it was pretty under a mauve/lilac shimmer and the look lasted for 10-11 hours. I did use a primer (the Moira one that is a dupe for the MAC paint pot in painterly).
I bought the Sarah Creal lip balm because you loved it…and now I love it too!! Eadem is my absolute favorite balm with color hands down (love everything about it), but Sarah Creal is my favorite clear balm. (The non-scent scent of the Eadem clear balm smells icky to me) So thank you Sarah Creal! I use it before bed and before I do my makeup every day. It feels so plush and lovely. I was just thinking I should check out the Sarah Creal lipsticks last night!! (I love the names) This was very timely for me! I’m definitely getting a few more lip balms to put around the house and the lipstick. I’ll try the lip primer (although I like her lip balm for that purpose too). I was going to wait for the Sephora sale to get more lip balm, but if you buy 3 items in her site you get a cute green makeup bag and I’m a sucker for such things! 😂 I’m getting one lip balm, the lip primer, and Madam President (I’ve been canvassing every Saturday and Sunday for Kamala Harris since July so I deserve that little treat!) I really like the LE Fawn palette. It’s just the perfect neutral nude palette (I’m warm, light olive so it doesn’t look warm on me). With Vega, Cinnabar, and now Fawn, I feel like I have cool, warm, and neutral browns covered. I didn’t realize that middle bottom row shimmer was a duochrome so I’d say it’s really subtle, too!! 😂I didn’t get any of the liquid silks. I need even lighter shades to use them as primer/base shades. I’m impressed with the wear time, but I don’t use liquid mattes alone.
I'm so glad you love the SC lip balm too! I have the green and orange bags now after all of my orders, lol. I'm a sucker for them too. I'm glad you are enjoying the Fawn palette Lisa!
@@LexiJong I did try the Lip Grip Primer and IT REALLY WORKS! I’ve tried so many lipstick primers and none work with my patchiest lipstick: Lisa Eldridge Velvet Cinnabar…none until today! Absolutely loved this comprehensive review of so many items. The Eadem lip balm is lovely and so cushiony. I tried a sample and loved it. You look amazing Lexi and I’ve made so many notes for my wishlist. ❤
Lexi, thanks for reviewing so many powders. I saw the Givenchy and the lavender and it caught my eye. 😊I really like how it looks and think it would make a nice setting powder. The TA powders also look very nice. I think they give off two diff finishes so you could have both 😆. The LE eye palette is beautiful & pigmented. I’m glad she went with natural shades on this one. Very nice review with tons of swatches! Thank you! 😊🌺
Hi Lexi. Just watching this video again. Do you think that the Sarah Creal primer would work with lipgloss to help to prevent it from migrating outside the lip lines? Or do you think it's best to avoid using it with glosses because the primer is mattifying?
I actually think it works well with glosses and it will help a bit with gloss migration but I wouldn't count on it to be perfect in that area just because of the nature of a gloss and how thick it is.
As someone has desert skin, Suqqu powder (the big pot with slight lilac sheen) is non drying and brightening! Best to pair with Suqqu powder brush super super soft and I feel the effect is better than using other high end brushes. Very expensive but worth it as I find all other branded powders very dry expect Chantecaille but Suqqu is more brightening.
Hi Lexi, thanks for bringing us so much newness combined with your esteemed thoughts. The Sisley liquid es look really nice as do the Addiction pink and lilac powders. The new Givenchy tulle opalescent looks great on you too recognizing it's the best of the new formulations you picked up, but I still prefer AT. The LE is nice enough but nothing extraordinary that sets it apart and it isn't a true cool lovers palette. Perhaps when she releases the speculated purple palette we'll be more excited. Thank you again for going above and beyond. ❤❤
Lexi, have you had any hard pan issues with the Upper West Side shade in your LE Fawn palette? I had trouble getting pigment from it from the word go and then got hard pan. I tried the tape trick and that restored it to the way it arrived, other than looking almost pitted…still hard to get much pigment from it like it was on arrival. I’ve actually never gotten hard pan with any other eyeshadow, so I do t feel like it’s anything I’m doing.
I’m trying to decide what to replace in the Sisley line. What shade are you in the Phytoplankton-tient perfection. I can’t remember any of my shades and I’m about a half shade deeper than you. I de recall that the cushion my shade was too orange but they all sound and look alike.
I wanted to let u know they have the new Sisley mascara at Beautylish now to and they have the brown also they have a U beauty lip plasma set with the full size clear a mini pink shade and a mini nude shade on sale for 76$ it was l20$ also an orbie gold lust hair set that is on sale 115$ was 155, I just noticed a few things when I went to the site after signing up for the new brush release
Hi Lexi! I purchased the color Ione in the Lisa Eldridge liquid eyeshadow. On her video, it appeared as more of a soft mauve. In reality, it’s much darker and more brown. I was ☹️. I did order the new Sisley mascara before the video ended. Thanks for this great video!
Thanks Lexi for reviewing all this to us. I was waiting for your review for LE liquid eyeshadows before ordering and I am planing to pick up few, how do they compare to the violette FR Matte ones ? Could you please tell which one you prefer??
It's hard to choose a favorite as both brands are great and last all day on me. Texturally, the Violette_Fr ones feel more like paint while the lisa eldridge formula feels a bit more silky in texture. I would select the product based on the shades that interest you.
Lexi I can't remember if you ever showed Sisley So Volume mascara on your channel. I have had it before and I found it to be really thick and messy. I thought that the new Sisley mascara was replacing that one, but it looks like it is still available along with So Curl, So Intense and So Stretch. Do you think you like the new mascara more than So Stretch?
I shared it once when my channel was new but I wasn't a fan of that one personally although I know a lot of people love it. I'm not sure yet if I like it more than so stretch but they are at least equal for me.
The Sisley Liquid Eyeshadow look amazing I must say and so does the mascara. How does remove the mascara? Is it easy or do you need an oil based cleanser?
Hi Lexi! Is it possible to compare Supernaturally from LE palette to the matte brown from Chantecaille Cheetah trio and the matte brown from the Chantecaille holiday duo? I would like to know how close they are so I will buy the best brown tone for me

Lexi I was wondering if the Stardust liquid shadow is a similar colour to the Mink Lid Lustre from VB. I know that Lid Lustres aren't liquids, but I think they behave in a similar way.
I agree about the Lisa Eldridge Liquid Silks... great formula, but I wish they offered a couple of more nude options. I was hoping to use it as an eye primer, but the current colors don't work. Thanks for your thoughts!

I found I could see more mauve and even slight grey in LE Ione on my lids by using a very tiny amount, like one small dot well blended out. That said my bare lids have slight mauve tones to start with! Like you, I was surprised by the color vs what I expected from her web site swatches. On me the two midtone browns in Fawn are not very attractive, unfortunately, but I really love the liquids applied lightly and hope she comes out with more shades of those.
Hi Lexi! I think that the Fawn palette contains the matte shades of the discontinued Cinnabar palette. As I don’t like the shimmer shades of the Cinnabar palette, I think it’s an improvement…
Hi Lexi, I was waiting for your review of the new Sisley liquid eyeliner and mascara. I was disappointed about the Tom Ford eyeliner (the applicator is very good but it takes forever to dry) and the Gucci eyeliner (it’s fast drying but the applicator is too soft). Now I have a liquid eyeliner from Make Up Forever (Sephora girl recommended) and is surprisingly good (firmer applicator, intense colour, fast drying and last all day). I hope you will review the new Hermes liquid eyeliner and compare with the Sisley one. 🙂 Regarding the Sisley new mascara, can you tell me please if it holds the curls after use an eyelash curler? @@sarahpenz3739 This has been my biggest problem with her line. I only wear cool tones and the Liquid Lurex line is almost entirely warm other than two very dark shades that make my eyes look small. I wish she would release pale cool toned shades to brighten the lid, like icy lilac, silvery taupe, purply gray...etc. I love her lipstick formulas but am only able to wear a few shades as, again, the line runs very warm.
nothing unique about LE produ ts, people don't get fooled with her constant nonsense. Palette is not everyday friendly, why dark brown shades and you can get something similar combing vega and cinnabar if you can get refills for them lol.Liquid eyeshadows have very little production in them and again no grou breaking ingredients here, she thinks she is the on,y personinuniverse doing research on makeup Ingredients .
@@mimiandviolets All brands make big claims abt their supposed innovative formulas and ingredients, they're not trying to scam or fool anyone. Hype only goes so far and her products are expensive so if people didn't truly enjoy them, they wouldn't repurchase and brands can't survive without repeat customers. I personally love her various lipstick and gloss formulas but I'd rate her shadow formulas 5/10 and found her blush to be unusable due to the packaging. Makeup is highly subjective and there's no such thing as a universally loved brand or product.
I was actually considering purchasing the lip primer, until u said that part of the proceeds goes to Planned Parenthood. Thank u for giving all of us as much information as u can on these makeup products. I’m actually surprised that u have to be careful which makeup u purchase bc of your political & moral views. I wish she would release pale cool toned shades to brighten the lid, like icy lilac, silvery taupe, purply gray...etc. I love her lipstick formulas but am only able to wear a few shades as, again, the line runs very warm.
❤❤
nothing unique about LE produ ts, people don't get fooled with her constant nonsense.

I will NEVER support Planned Parenthood.
