As a classical pianist who has performed this piece on stage, this is really surprising that Beethoven Piano Sonata 14 has been transcribed into guitar format, and my god is it impressive! Mad respect coming from the pianists perspective. Not only is this piece conspicuously arduous and quite strenuous on the pianist (guitarist in this case), but its also technically challenging to perform. Her tempo is also on point, she's playing Presto agitatedly which is quite nice too! Good job Tina, mad respect from the pianists!

On the guitar forums we have followed her progress since she was about nine playing Van Halen. Every video was taking on something more difficult and nailing it. Then she dropped this masterpiece and stopped uploading. No videos from her for years now. Nobody knows really why. Study is one theory. I think that once she reached expert level on real life Guitar Hero she transcended this dimension to do shred battle with the gods. She will return with something that will blow our minds even more.

Thanks for not stopping the Music and talking every 30 seconds. I listened to a classically trained pianist who has performed all over everywhere do a reaction to this and she said that Tina is the best she's ever seen this is what Bach envisioned if they would have had electric instruments in addition she says Tina plays at 100% clean with absolutely zero mistakes and she knows what she's talking about. This was made in 2016 Tina was seventeen at the time she is born April 8th 1999 she's 21 now in 2020. Supposedly she's away at school and that's why she's not posted anything in 4 years. Please listen to her cover of Steve Vai's for the love of God. Tina never says a word she speaks with her hands and her words flow freely through the tips of her fingers. Tina S. Has no Equal She's the best in the World and I suspect She's even better today especially after 4 years of Music School. Tina has been classically trained by musical genius teacher notice the way she holds her guitar on her left leg at the proper angle like a classical guitarist wood this makes your left wrist almost straight and not curled upwards which gives you a great Advantage when you're moving at this speed also noticed she does everything from her wrists and rarely ever move her whole arm she does what is known as the economy of motion you can't get this fast if you're moving your whole arm. You have to learn to play with the least amount of movement to reach this speed and precision she never misses a note. check out the guitarist Juliana from Argentina she is completely self-taught and does a very good close second to Tina on this song she learned it all by ear on her own with no training that in and of itself is amazing. There's a video on UA-cam doing a side-by-side comparison of the two of them playing Yngwie Malmsteen's arpeggios from hell. There's also a side by side of Yngwie Malmsteen & Tina S. Playing Arpeggios from Hell with the 2 of them playing simultaneously. Yngwie looks as though he's straining for every note and Tina looks like it's so easy for her she's about to fall asleep. Tina stays in perfect time with him and never misses a note.
    God Bless
    Jimmy in NC.

There was this posted reply on a site that was discussing Tina (not a YT vid) where the guy was saying she wasn't really very good. He was saying, "You guys are just idiots who have never heard how good today's guitarists really are. This girl is nothing compared to them." And he actually posted the names of 6 guitarists he said were better. I checked all of them out by watching their vids. Only one was actually, maybe, possibly as good as Tina. He really did blow me away. The others, no. How did I judge these vids? Simple: The WOW factor. Tina is the only one of the guitarists I saw that made me slap my head and go WOW! It may not be scientific, but it works. And it's not just this vid. ALL her vids get the head slap and the WOW.
Too bad she's gone. What a career she could have had. Good luck, Tina. Whatever you're doing, I hope you are enjoying yourself.

@@zeppelinmexicano OF COURSE she is focused! You are correct, I feel in your final comment that the casual appearance is an illusion is correct. And I stand by my comment that she APPEARS to be be very casual and relaxed which does not mirror the reality of the effort on display. David Gilmour is much the same. He just stands in the middle of the stage, no theatrics, no throwing his guitar around, just playing extraordinary solos and David is widely considered one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Often times he has his eyes closed because he is concentrating and in a 'zone'. So here too, Tina does in a similar fashion. Thanks for not interrupting a stellar performance to explain that you have nothing to say. Nothing a "reactor" can do is more annoying for viewers or more insulting to the artist. SO many do it. I guess it's to make the "reaction" about themselves while dangling from the coat tails of a truly talented person. 'Makes them seem dumber than concrete. Keep up the good work, D. Lynn, and thanks again!

Its really refreshing to hear when people 1. Say his name correctly
And 2. Actually giving out some history on him
I strongly feel that Beethoven was like "for real man. Imma write this shit right here... and in 300 years people will transform it into some wild insane shit." While he was composing this.
Classical music sounds almost as good when its got distortion jacked up. Nothing beats classical... but metal comes in a VERY VERY VERY close second

Tina was 17 when she recorded this, it amazes me that someone that age would be disciplined enough to take the time to learn something so complicated. The arrangement is from Whitesnake's Dr. Viossy. The backing track is also his and is downloadable from his website for a few bob for those who want to try the piece. So far I have only seen two serious all out attempts at it: by Tina S. and Dr. Viossy himself. As with most of Tina's pieces she plays this (IMHO) better than the original.
BTW, Tina S. has been educated by a world class electric guitar teacher for years and it shows, doesn't it?

    Hello!
Thank you very much for this reaction. I think Tina S. is probably one of the best current guitarists. She started very young with classical guitar. She has not been showing videos of her performances on UA-cam for several years now. I think she put her studies first and she's right. However, as you love classical music, here is a link to her interpretation of the winter of Vivaldi's four seasons: ua-cam.com/video/OvSzJa6u-So/v-deo.html
And even more extraordinary (but much less classic) is his version of Steve Vai's "For the love of God":

And as she is French and me too: Cocoricooo !
