Tina, after releasing this video, made a 7 year break for her studies.
She came back last year with a band called Spin Twice and she is composing the songs of the band.
A new song will be released this sep 6th.
And doesn't she look totally different from then.?!!
Bleach blond, tats all over and very, very grungy looking.
But still one of the best female guitarists that's ever lived.!!!
@@ianrose56 That´s exactly waht I expect wehn a teen becomes a grown up.
It´s just normal.
Not saying that every single person needs to change that much ... but it is nothing wrong with it either.
She started studying Classical Finger-style guitar at 6 yrs old. When she turned 13, she got an electric guitar for her birthday and started playing Rock, Blues, Classical metal style, Progressive, as well as retaining her finger-style technique. Between 13 to 17yrs and 5 months, she posted 16 killer vids. What I find most amazing about Tina is her manual dexterity. For a young player, her legato hand is obviously brilliant but, her picking hand is incredible. How her picking capability increased so rapidly is amazing. Also, she is a master at muting strings while playing, which she probably learned during her classical training. She did all this while still going to high school and doing homework at night, to graduate as an 'A' student. She stopped posting vids when she went to University to study robotics and information technology. Checkout her YT channel (It has the best video and sound quality performances) to see her versions of Vivaldi, Dragonforce, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Gary Moore, Dream Theater, and others. There are many viewers of her vids that say her covers are better than the original artists versions. She is a guitar prodigy for sure.
This metal version for guitar has been transposed by a guitarist called "Dr.Viossy" (you can check his channel on YT).
He mades the backing track Tina is using.
Edit : just saw you reacted to The warning, fun fact : Tina S. music teacher (and the one who makes the video) is a french guitarist called Renaud Louis-Servais. And he gained some popularity after Tina started to become famous. And after that, someone called "Daniela Villarreal" has become one of his student ;)
I think it’s still in his [Dr. Viossey] description box that you can buy the sheet music he arranged for this transposing, and the backing tracks for unlimited use for just, like 3 pounds. That’s pretty damn cheap considering he put that video out like 15 years ago.
Definitely check out Tina setkic dragon force through the fire and flames cover at 15 years old awesome 😎
Steve Vai's For the Love of God; Jason Becker's Altitudes; Gary Moore's The Loner... They're my favourites... Probably in reverse order... Can't decide between those last two.
Bro, I've never seen you before. But this made me watch twice.
Maybe the algorithms will toss us into the same ring again?
Nice!
MIND BLOWING - ISN'T IT??!!!
Next up... Her Dragonforce cover... Its insane 😮😮😮😮
One of the greatest guitar players ever
She has a video called "Vivaldi tribute" that is pretty much the last part of Summer of The four Seasons. Also a short video of Paganini 5th Caprice, as played by Steve Vai in the movie Crossroads. Pretty much all of her covers are fantastic. "Altitudes" is amazing, and "For the Love of God" is probably my favourite cover of anything I've ever heard.
I'm hoping Cole will do a reaction to Crossroads.
My favorite is Jason Becker's Altitudes. Even Becker himself liked it
Nice reaction. Please also check out the covers of Tina, DragonForce Through the fire and flames and Steve Vai for the Love of God.
See you shaking your head the whole time there.. welcome to Tina you just watched the most awesome guitar player this rock has ever seen. She snuck up on you, didn't she? She doesn't miss any notes. Other people that have watched this that know the piece have indicated that. Yeah she's a Savant. Lotta people have indicated that if they didn't see and hear her work they would not believe her play was even possible by a human. Others have excused her of speeding up the play but I've noticed that if that were true things like her hair movement would be speeded up as well and that is simply not the case. Here she hits over 3000 notes in 6 minutes thus its around 7 notes per second through the entire piece. Yeah this is the reason why what she does shouldn't even be possible.
Tina's last name is Šetkić, š pronounced sh (as in shure), ć pronounced tj (as in tube), of Slavic origin (her parents are from the old Yugoslavia), and approx. means: hammer.
As a fan, I watch every new Tina s reaction.
A summary of Tina's life as a guitarist:
ua-cam.com/video/vXotdh-nwAU/v-deo.html
Tina has removed many old videos from her channel. Here are some other channels where some of these have been preserved:

It's understandable to think that, after watching Tina S. shred Beethoven, you'd consider selling your guitars and finding something else to do, however before you do, consider this: not everyone can be an Einstein or DaVinci (or Tina S.), but there's plenty of room for physicists and artists (and guitar players). As the late great Vince Lombardi (head coach of the Green Bay Packers many, many moons ago) once said: “Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence.” Don't let Tina S,'s excellence deter you from chasing perfection.
On a scale of one to ten, Tina S. is easily an eleven or twelve, but it didn't just fall out of the sky and land on her; between a certain amount of born talent and relentlessly practicing, that's what makes her one of the best guitar players I've ever seen. The story I gathered is that she practiced this piece for two solid months, and it shows - she rarely looks at her fingers or the fret board because she has acquired the muscle memory through so much practicing - she KNOWS where her fingers need to be.
Finally, she does have one other classical rendition: "Vivaldi Tribute" ( ua-cam.com/video/DIGfO2Dgc9Y/v-deo.htmlsi=6EW72v9vDp0eRbPL )
she did a video cover of "through fire and flames" by DragonForce, (a song known for its major difficulty) which was seen by Herman Lee (member of DragonForce),
he implied that she played this song better than him................
If you want more metal versions of classical music, check out the album "Intermission Troldhaugen" by Mads Eriksen where he interprets certain pieces by Edvard Grieg on electric guitar (with band). Sadly, there aren't any videos of this.
This video reminds me, I hope you can do a reaction to the 1986 film Crossroads (Ralph Macchio, Joe Seneca, Jami Gertz, Joe Morton, Steve Vai). Great blues music, but a classical piece by violinist Niccolo Paganini - "Caprice No. 5" plays an important part in the story.
She was only 19 when she did this. Unbelievable talent.
17 not 19 😇
you definitely should watch her covers of For the Love of God and Altitudes, and I would include The Loner in that list.
A fellow who does analysis videos that are quite often used in music classes in Britain and works among other things as a professional guitar teacher made two interesting comments. First was how perfectly positioned she and the guitar had to be to pull this off. The second was it took him all afternoon just to learn the first 30 seconds of the song. She makes it look so effortless.
Wow! Thanks, Cole!
Her band SpinTwice has their new song out today. TIDAL WAVE
Yep I'm subscribed to her channel so I picked right up on it almost on the day it was released. Tell u what that band of her has great sound and she has a few places in there that she gets it on. But remember that Tina is a humble girl so its gonna take a bit of time here to really start stoking her part. You know like Edge does on some of U2's stuff? Yeah this is original Tina stuff here, not a cover of someone else's work. I absolutely love this girl's play and mannerism. You won't be seeing any skin atta Tina either she's just pure class.
You need to check Dr Viossy who did the tabs for that Beethoven hard rock version before Tina. He has done some other nice arrangements of classical music.
GooGle IT 🙂
Please react at Jason Becker "altitude". it's indescribable .......
Original is by Dr VIOSSY on UA-cam !!
Okay…mastered that. How about astrophysics next. You go Buckaroo!!
Tina stopped and disappeared for years. You can now find her back playing in a rock band; but not her virtuosity any more.
She has also some Paganini and Vivaldi in her channel...but first, try "For the love of God", my fav from her
Well done with the editing. Most reactors are usually a half second behind the video with the audio. You got it spot on. You should share your secret.
Kind of infuriating how she manages to look bored while casually melting my face.
Plz go for Tash Sultana. She different, but equally skilled.
She will kill you too ;-)
I think it's time to listen to Marcin. It's like Angelina Jordan...it doesn't matter which song you listen to. You're simply speechless. I suggest "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin with one guitar.
She is relentless. She just keeps coming at you with one amazing riff after another without a break in between. It is hard to listen to her because guitar was not meant to be played like this.
Electric guitar when played by a classically trained musician 🤙
Not bad. Note perfect while averaging 7 notes per second for over 6 minutes.
How about someone playing a 5-string acoustic guitar, with his own tuning. Try reacting to Jabob Collier "Little Blue" LIVE!
sorry to say that, you are here 10 years late, now is
it Spin twice
Can you please make the video smaller, Please. I still almost see it. Shame on the mess.
Don't worry. She's ten times better than this now.
Can you please make the video smaller, I can still almost see it. Shame on the mess.
I didn't like your reaction, if you like Tina so much, you go to her channel and watch her videos, if the rest is good or bad it's your risk, your life your time, only you know your tastes. You seem a little dishonest to me
No me gusto tu reacción, si tanto te gusto Tina, vas a su canal y miras sus video, si el resto es bueno o malo es tu riesgo, tu vida tu tiempo, solo tu sabes tus gustos. Me pareces un poco dehonesto
