I don't know what facial expression there could be for that. She's monitoring her left-right coordination and where she is in the piece. There is no facial expression for that that I know of. If you are string bending and putting vibrato into a single note, you can allow your face to express that note or that feeling, because that is basically simplistic compared to this. The complexity here requires a focus that isn't like Santana doing vibrato on a single note. Santana, love the guy, but he couldn't hold this girl's bra strap and even he would admit that.
Honest to God. This is the single greatest performance on guitar in the history of mankind. The effortlessness of it, the perfection in every single note (over 2,000 from what I read elsewhere), half the time not even looking at the guitar...it's indescribable. It's genius. It's unfair to every other guitarist that's been playing for 20+ years.
Most serious players can play by memory and she plays flawlessly because it's my understanding she is classically trained and since she was like 5-years-old? But, yeah, she is insanely good.
Yeah I hate it that Kerry King and people cannot play live gigs without having the piece of music in front of them. Means they stand so rigid. If metal guitarists could move and headbang instead of being like statues. I remember seeing Opeth and thinking the exact same!!! Its called practice. She, before recording, will have practiced until she was happy. She isn't that good. Or bad. She is doing something any guitarist can learn to do. And worse... She hasn't written a damn thing! I know a guitarist. AMAZING. He can play ANY song. I am talking even technical shit like Necrophagist. He can sweep like there is no tomorrow.... But he cannot write for shit. That makes him a good guitar player but technically a bad musician. I would need to see the lady play something a little more... Well... Harder. If you guys think this is really "amazing" you clearly aren't guitarists... Or worse... You are but just old rock. I grew up playing Van Halen, Yngwie and Steve. Now if she can write a song with as much soul as "Black Magic Woman" or something as technically proficient as say... Meshuggah or Gorjira then fine. But right now she is doing Karaoke with a guitar.
@@TheClassicWorld That means nothing. Just that she should be better at writing if she has been learning for that long. COB and Opeth are classically trained. Opeth infuse folk, classical, jazz and blues along with rock and metal.. And even death and black metal. That is talent. COB use guitars and a keyboard player that duel. They also have videos where the vocalist/guitarist and their other guitarist play classical music. It's from like 10 years ago. And they actually did a medley. The best way I can put this is... Technically Jazz-Fusion is talent. A lot more than say... Sex Pistols. Yet... They observe intelligence and talent in the fact they have earworm songs. They use music theory without being taught it. Anarchy in the Uk and God Save The Queen aren't great songs... But "technically" they are more liked than say... bands like An Endless Sporadic. This for me is what is bad about modern music and UA-cam... It exposes so much wrong. Classical musicians, of which I am one having played with the NYO (national youth) as a kid (Clarinet), are always presumed to be amazing. They aren't. It just means they have had lots of lessons and been taught from a young age. I give more respect to the likes of Kurt Cobain than someone that has been learning 20 years and still cannot compose a piece of music and instead relies on using classical music ... Things evolve over time. IF she can play the fully Harry Potter Suite I would be impressed... But she is playing something that has been played by classically trained musicians up and down the world. PS. If you think this is SOOOO amazing, then watch someone play it on a Cello or a violin. Something without lovely fret markers and without lovely spacing made to play quickly. Hi Alex. Please react to Avantasia: the Scarecrow or the raven child. It is one of the best power metal bands from Germany. I will not give up until you do a reaction of this great band. You will love them for sure. Greetings from Germany
I can see how it's possible, given sweeping arpeggios and tapping out chords, but still, the precision and sheer force of her playing is beyond comprehension. I don't even wonder what Beethoven would think. He'd be giving the thumbs up as well. There was no electric guitar in his day, but Tina really transcribed this for that instrument and turned it into a rock song for the ages.
It's very hard to imagine anybody in this planet play this song better than tina...ever. Just pure perfection. Hard to wait what she has planned to future. Very much hope she can deliver some of her own music in future. But don't rush Tina, cause masterpieces don't come easy (composing) Playing is not a problem for this human being... at all.
Remember Beethoven played this song that fast on his piano so for her to be able to replicate the speed at which this song requires shows you how skilled she is.
If I remember correctly , when she did this song. She was only 17... Probably 21 now......She is amazing! Lots of haters are or have always been haters. Because she's so much better than they. Your reaction was that of a person in shock...lol

It's the completely dumbfounded look after only about 10 seconds that I love when people who truly understand what's going on watch Tina play this piece. Classic! Shre is just insanely good.
I think Beethoven would have to ask Tina for the guitar sheet music. Either that or wrestle with that instrument's nasty temperament toward arpeggios for a couple of years.
She was 17 years old at the time. Yes, there are real geniuses among us. A savant she is. Not even with years of practices can you do that, memorizing all the notes. And doing it on one shot. No. She is a prodigy and God's gift to humanity.
I don't think she's bored. At the end of the video you can see her give this little smirk like she's saying, " that's right," she's probably just a quiet person, and gives off the impression that she's bored.
Bout time somebody did the great Tina S! Been pushing for this for like 5 years. And she was like 16 or 17 here I believe. Don't think she's uploading stuff anymore. It was a THRILL to watch her play. There is a young phenom drummer out there named Sina (no relation lol) who does covers as well. She is also phenomenal, of course. Thanks Alex!
Social media can be tuff on some people. Sadly I haven't seen much from her in a few years, because people were ripping on her which is baffling to me. Perhaps jealousy by people who couldn't even hold a guitar? I hope she re emerges at some point. Take care ✌ Oh, and it's time for another reaction to the Holy Trinity aka RUSH. Probably she has rehearsed this for years.Incredibly skilled girl, she is awesome.I can assure you she IS interested. This dedication is insane.Speed of this is just off every chart ever made.Awesome.
She just breaks out into absolute beast mode shredding that guitar.
My favourite of hers was Gary Moore, The Loner. In fact I'm off to watch it again now 🤘
That is also a flippin' beautiful one of hers. 🥰 I love it, and bet Gary Moore would DEFINATELY approve, and feel her emotions as well.
Hi Alex.
Please react to Avantasia: the Scarecrow or the raven child.
It is one of the best power metal bands from Germany.
I will not give up until you do a reaction of this great band.
You will love them for sure.
Greetings from Germany
The thing I'm the most proud of when I see Tina playing, is the fact she is french!
Arpeggios from Hell - cover by Tina S
UP!
This! I think it's her best performance on YT by a country mile!
If you gave Beethoven a guitar:
THIS GIRL IS SURREAL BRO!!!!!🤌👏👏👏👏
Been watching Tina for years. She's an absolute beast.
As this girl deserves so much respect, so do you. You just made me do a solo standing ovation. Great choice and reaction my friend
O’Keefe (School Of Rock Kids)- Tool - Schism
Definitely! But the original must be heard first, and he will be amazed at the talent in those young people! :)
Implying that its harder to play fast on guitar than piano?
What up Alex!!! Hope you're doing well safe and sound bro. Love your commentary on ANY video!!!! Have a great night
If I remember correctly , when she did this song. She was only 17...
Probably 21 now......She is amazing!
Lots of haters are or have always been haters. Because she's so much better than they.
Your reaction was that of a person in shock...lol
Yes 21 now since 7 april 2020
@@0ParisFrance
Actually , my B-day is a few days after her's. What ever happened to her. I hope she been working on , maybe. Her own original music.
Or more classical covers.
@@silentwhisperstudios7808 Nobody wants to hear from her. I have the phone number of her parents and her brother Sacha but I don't dare to call.
@@0ParisFrance
Why does nobody want to her from her. All she's done is show the world.
What an amazing guitar player she is. I miss Tina , I miss hearing her play. She will always have my support 100%.
@@silentwhisperstudios7808
It's Christina Setkic who doesn't want to. His guitar teacher Renaud Louis-Servais says he has no more news from her !
Cole Rolland - through the fire and the flames
God please. His cover is one of the most incredible covers I've seen of the song.
Pre-recorded cover no thx lol
Also does 3rd movement which is 10000x better than this one.
@@sharpiefinepoint5842 yes but with tons of editing and overdubbing. Here it's pure one shot recording. They are not playing in the same league. Cole is great, but not at her technicality level.
Tina: *plays Beethoven*
Alex: *legit almost dies*
Amazing. She’s just to good to be true. I can’t stop listening to her playing... She is so young and ANY band would fire their lead guitarist to have her on their band. Fucking amazing...
I Know I'm not the only one who's missing Tina S😥. I hope she'll be active soon
I love how at the end shes like, ok now that im done with my warm up....
She plays a lot like Buckethead. But she has small hands, which makes it even more impressive.
My mom loves this song. Normally she hates distortion but here she understands use of distortion
1:45 every beginner guitarists reaction
I can relate
This is what muscle memory is all about. She plays without even looking at the guitar. She is just awesome.
It's the completely dumbfounded look after only about 10 seconds that I love when people who truly understand what's going on watch Tina play this piece. Classic! Shre is just insanely good.
Dragon Force - Through the Fire and Flames - Tina S Cover
YES! PLEASE!
yes yes yes!
Fr tho
Yesssssss
I hear Beethoven also did a cover of this
I think Beethoven would have to ask Tina for the guitar sheet music. Either that or wrestle with that instrument's nasty temperament toward arpeggios for a couple of years.
I also hear Yngwie Malsteen went to her for lessons
@@zeppelinmexicano The guitar sheet music is more black than white.
She was 17 years old at the time. Yes, there are real geniuses among us. A savant she is. Not even with years of practices can you do that, memorizing all the notes. And doing it on one shot. No. She is a prodigy and God's gift to humanity.
She started guitar at age 6 and was around 17 when this was recorded. Practicing 3+ hours a day for 10+ years. No time for video games...
7 notes a second, 2500+ notes in 6 mins.
As I Lay Dying: Nothing Left. Then a follow up reaction of As I Lay Dying: The Sound of Truth. The videos go together and are amazing!
I don't think she's bored. At the end of the video you can see her give this little smirk like she's saying, " that's right," she's probably just a quiet person, and gives off the impression that she's bored.
Sophie Lloyd is talented, but this kid is one of the best I've ever seen. Wish she'd start posting on UA-cam again.
If you haven't seen it already, watch her blistering cover of Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames.
Watch everything on her channel lol
She nailed it !!!
Social media can be tuff on some people. Sadly I haven't seen much from her in a few years, because people were ripping on her which is baffling to me. Perhaps jealousy by people who couldn't even hold a guitar? I hope she re emerges at some point.
Take care ✌
Oh, and it's time for another reaction to the Holy Trinity aka RUSH. Xanadu live from Exit Stage Left will blow your mind 😁
Anyone that disses her just has to be ashamed that they don't have that level of talent in anything.
So glad you reviewed this its been a long time coming. Shes a child prodigy and real virtuoso.
1:47 You can tell from her facial expression that this is one of the more difficult passages.
But she also smiles 7 times in the video
I've been watching her videos on here for ages she is just amazing
Her cover of Tornado of Souls is absolutely nuts, especially the solo, you should definitely check it out dude :)
OMG..AWESOME...!! She is beyond talented. 😎 Even Beethoven is rockin' it out in Heaven!!!! Thanks Alex💕
Tina's also got a mind-blowing cover of Megadeth's "Tornado Of Souls"
She is what we in German call "Wunderkind" like Amadeus, Beethoven, Vivaldi, etc.
The bored look is mostly very deep concentration.
That outro was hilarious lmao !! Nice reaction as always man
is it me or at 1 point did her hand go into a blur this is incredible
I think you were just starting to black out due to awesomeness.
Hey Alex, is that your mum? That interchange made me cry with laughter. Thanks for the great reaction to an awesome piece played by an awesome guitarist and then keeping it real with mum. :-D
Yeeeees! I've waited so long for you to react to this. Tina S is an exceptional talent that has received praise from some of the worlds best guitarists. Unfortunately, she has completely disappeared from UA-cam a few years ago. If you like this maybe check out her cover of Steve Vai's "For The Love Of God." Here is the link
m.ua-cam.com/video/nJi8iSpzq9I/v-deo.html
Where did Tina go? This bothers me. Does anybody know if she's even alive?
Mexican Zeppelin I don't know what happened to her. I've looked into before and found nothing. Sucks though. I loved her covers. Such an amazing talent
I believe she was only 17 or 18 when she recorded the video so my theory is that she stopped making videos in ordered to go to college. But honestly I don't know.
@@dustinstone5188 You're right, she was about to pass her baccalauréat which is the french high scool degree, and if she went to college she had less time to make video Aaaaaaand maybe she was a little too much in the highlight for her young age. I really hope she still plays the guitar, and maybe will she return in some years.
@@homere-d-allaure Well, that's nice to hear! I miss her. I hope to see her back someday.
Her playing is flawless, but that last note was absolutely SICK!
Will you answer the As I Lay Dying guy already?!?😂
This makes a refreshing change, thanks for reacting to something like this! :)
GOD SHOWING OFF HIS CREATION.... I KEEP LOOKING, BUT SADLY SHE'S GONE
I love her little smile when she finishes 😅
Not to mention , the was only 14 or 15 when she recorded this .....
17. Unfortunately at 18 she pretty much quit UA-cam or anything else public. I don't know why but in my opinion she was remarkably talented & perhaps will someday reconsider.
17
You know, her age keeps dropping with each comment.
Before long she’ll be eight in this video.
Tina was amazing! But the best part of this vid was when mom tried to get you to help out, nicely by positive encouragement. But then she saw her boy's unaffected and she went for the guilt. 👌🏻
React to Dream Theater-The Best of Times,The Count of Tuscany
So you are a Bengali

That exchange between you and your mom at the end was hilarious XD I see where your comedic timing comes from.
Hey !
I think you should like to react to : Of mice and men : You make me sick
You'll love it 🤘
The fun fact about Tina S is that she barely look at her guitar when she play song cause she knows exactly where the notes are she's the best french female guitarist ever

She is a prodigy. Born with music already wired in her mind. This is more common than you might think. It is like the universe records all knowledge and then dumps some of it into a childs mind. The universe is a very strange and mysterious thing.
Sad that she's not playing anymore
I imagine she still plays, she just hasn't made it public in a while.
If only Tina S would come back and provide more... We miss you Tina...
if u love classical music react to Floor Jansen - Puccini: O mio babbino caro :D
