Apparently replacing a 2015 oil pan to the updated TSB requires putting in new updated valve covers as well… so looking to be a bigger job than expected for a leaky 2.7l oil pan…

@@minecrafter4623 I don't know what the valve covers have to do with the oil pan. I haven't ran into that. It is a lot of work though.

@@mechanicgray ford put out an updated TSB saying it may need new valance covers for some reason… not entirely sure either

@@minecrafter4623 Mabey it's an engine oil leak TSB and it includes oil pan and valve covers. If the valve covers aren't leaking I wouldn't do them.

So far my 2016 2.7l isn't leaking oil @55k. Hope it stays that way. Just put new spark plugs in, not fun the first time due to that one blocked plug.

These really are good engines over all.

How much should I expect to pay for this job? Considering doing it myself but time is limited thinking of I should pay someone.

@@joesanchez9512 Somewhere in the neighborhood of $300 to $400 for both of them. Parts and labor.
