Man, that turned out nice it looks fantastic, I’ll be painting my car this summer I’ll be more than happy if I get this type of results. Thanks for all the great videos and keep up the good work
Man it looks amazing thanks for the video
Dude you are a legend. I came up as a collision guy but recently got hired at a muscle car shop last year. The transition from fender and bumper jobs to painting entire vintage cars is coming along but you make it look easy. Cheers man
great video! You do Awesome work!
Nice job...
Awesome 👏🏻 just found this video
Amazing music
IVe recently started spraying, Bought myself basic equipment for now, But for being new to spraying, Im actually pretty good at it :) Its all about watching the paint as you lay it down, Too dry and bumpy or nice fluid and smooth etc :)
Refurbished and painted a set of alloy wheels to begin with, In pearl cadbury purple, extremely happy with the outcome..
My first spray gun is a DevilBiss SLG 610... just to get me rolling :D
But plan on repainting my car very soon, So happy i found your channel :)
Nice.. just curious why you didn't use the Apollo HVLP gun for base & clear? You didn't like it?
I'm using both air compressor and the Apollo sprayer to show you can get the same quality with both turbine and conventional air compressor
Ive got some Wanda Hi build primer Im about to paint some fenders with, have you ever used it? That clear looks good sir!
That color looks like silver metallic with a hint of blue or maybe thats the light.. Nice color as well.
Yes I used the high Build primer it works very well! It Sands very easy.
@@esrestorations Good Im sure ill be sanding to oldies tomorrow den!!
I love your videos! Great work and great painting technique! One thing.... for the love of god please, please kill the background music. It was hard to even hear you talk.
Are you using a turbine or compressor?
Wat hing from puertorico for you what is best turbine sprayer or air compresor
The turbine uses a little bit less material and puts less material in the air I would say probably air compressor since there's a little bit more options for spray guns but the turbine is awesome unit
I JUST GOT SOME OF THAT CLEAR, DID YOU HAVE ANT DYE BACK PROBLEMS...MY PAINT STORE STOP SELLING THE CLEAR I LOVE😱
Wich kind
Wich model# did u buy
I have issues getting the Silver's to pay down nicely in Wanda, more so in the warmer months of the year.
Spray 6 to 8 inches from panel 2 coat then lower psi pull 10 to 12 inches from panel and speed up your pattern and less overlap for your control coat hopefully this helps!
Thanks, when I use slow reducer it definitely helps, does stay wet for quite some time. Using standard reducer seems to dry way too fast.
@@esrestorations another quick question, are you using Wanda solvent basecoat or water ?
Solvent base
@@esrestorations ok same as myself, how do you mix your Silver's ? TDs suggests either 2:1 or 1:1. Blacks appear to be thicker than other colours so I tend to reduce them a bit more, most of the time I'll mix the base at 2:1.
which one of the clears is this
It's Wanda low v o c clear slow water base it's in a blue can
how does the wanda clear coat buff?
Not much sanding. Buffs out like glass I like it myself!
Why did you stop using the Apollo turbine?
I have not stopped using the Apollo turbine sprayer. I'm using both conventional and the Apollo sprayer to show that you can have a sweet paint job with both units.
What turbine machine should I get? To do automotive paint jobs
Any of the Maxi-misers would be great for paint
@@esrestorations Apollo or fugi???
What’s the settings on your gun?
Clear coat I run the fan wide open, and I run fluid wide open at 29 PSI
I'm just getting out of school do you think the Eastwood Turbine Paint sprayer would be good to start out on painting with it's like $1200
I think that one would be just fine it's made by Apollo sprayers that one's basically a maximizer 1000
Got rid of the Apollo and bought a compressor? Smart move!
Worst painting technique I've ever seen but clear looks nice
