Ed is the best story teller ever I guess it’s the car salesman in him, I swear Ed prob could sell me a bag full of s*%t for any amount of money lmfao. Oh btw thanks for the awesome surprise today uploading two awesome videos!!!
Only Ed would have the cojones to negotiate the speed clocking on paper with an expired license to a police officer during a cannonball run. #shrewdnegotiator
A born story teller of the highest order! With a narration style and resonant voice like Ed's, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to hear his voice doing voice-overs and radio hosting much more often in the near future!
I absolutely love your stories and your storytelling abilities. In the mid 2000s I worked for a shop and my boss bought the same kind of limo for us to good off in so I know how much fun you guys had in it and working on it. I'm so happy I found this channel, you guys are awesome!!!!
That Cordoba in the slideshow is pretty cool! I bought a beater one with no money to get it back to stable running condition, and I drove it till it quit! Loved it!
Soulfully a few of us (fittingly from south of atlanta) have talked for some time of the same. 24 hours of lemons has been discussed as well. We have a slew of cheap cars, but the organizing of that many people to make it fun. In time I think we will have a fun field
I live in Pennsylvania, the PA Turnpike is the absolute worst. The speed limit is 70. You can be doing 75-80 in the left lane and there is ALWAYS someone up your ass wanting to pass you no matter how fast you're going, you're not going fast enough to be driving on the PA Turnpike! haha when Ed said that he didn't like driving on the turnpike, I had to laugh. Awesome story!
I used to own one of those Cadillacs, if you reflashed the PCM they top out at around 135-140mph for a stock length/stock geared car. Only problem is most 15" stock sized tires aren't rated for that speed, maybe 15" tires for the 9C1 Caprice were rated for that speed, but who knows if those are still in production.
I have almost the same picture of myself as Ed at around the 2:10 mark, but I was standing on the rental car that I just drove across the GGB. I wasn't on the insurance policy for said rental (for obvious reasons known to my party), but I convinced that group that I was with that I had to do it with a semi-salesperson diatribe and it worked. Never stop being successful guys and gals. On a side note- That brand new rental did die outside of Yosemite a couple days later when the driver failed to listen to me about downshifting to use the engine as a brake. Wheels caught fire for the first time that I was in a vehicle that was not of my doing. I saw a black Modena jumping the hills just past Chinatown the night before, so it was a memorable trip to SF.
I used to haul ass when I drove limousine. From Reno to Tahoe in a blinding snowstorm. I knew if I went sideways I'd never get it back. Wrap that Lincoln around a tree.
Look at that glory at 3:29 . I love old pictures like that, but I also have a weird affliction for Chevy Citations. Call me strange, but Don Yenko's work when he helped develop the X-11 package? He always aimed high with an underdog point of view and eventually the 2 engined Citation came to fruition specifically as an experimental idea to take down exotics. Then we got the Buick Grand Nationals, the GMC Syclones, and arguably some other weird stuff from other manufacturers that were not trade secrets when brands started crossing streams.
Those Cadillac Broughams were among the very last cars to have the gas filler neck where it should be, behind the license plate, so you can just pull up to any gas pump and you don't care what side of the car the pump is on.
Ed always tells the best story out of any of the people who come on here. The Shit is awesome and he has a TV/radio voice that is great haha love this dam channel
I’m in auto parts myself and the fuel gauge in the 90s and 2000 Chevy’s always had issues. I myself have a 99 Cavalier base model as my first car every other day I had to put in 10 bucks of gas because I have no idea how much gas I had.
So funny, I used to own a red Lincoln Mark VIII just like that and I had an incident with a deer that rammed into the side of the car late one night, hearing another Mark VIII having a accident with a deer just made me laugh.
Gawd I would do love to get into cannonballing, just seems like something I was born to do! Lol always had a knack for driving and drove anything with wheels for 4yrs while active in the army 1yr being in Iraq 2003.... guess I should probably take care of those 3 warrants for traffic violations from back in 2005 first haha
ThriftStore Hacker This was the much more reliable 4.8VFI the earlier Deville's had. I owned both, never once had an issue with the 93 with the VFI but the dumbass 99 and 02 I owned BOTH started overheating, and breaking down. Garbage ass engines
Hey Ed, I see the 2904 hasn't had a run since '15, are there any other cross country races happening this year that you know of? I got to see Gumball '16 start in Ireland (What a trip, from New Orleans to Ireland) and since then I have been hooked.
Is it unusual for DMVs to notify you when your license is about to expire? I got a notice reminding me to renew my license a few months before it expired (California DMV), is that not a thing in other states?
oh man!!! no joke i saw that limo outside my place i live right across the street from Coit Tower i jsut didnt know what was going on lol now that i saw this it just reminded me :D that was awesome
We all know all to well it will not die, but go underground. With that said, id definatly love to take a 1 ton dually diesel with a 300 gallon auxilary tank tied into the fuel system and average 120mph. Course thats if the trans, or the rear dif doesnt blow. Also the least suspecting truck as cops will think its a farmer. Thats of course til you hit the city..
Goals I didn't make for myself in 2018 but am fulfilling - learning the history of the Cannonball run.
Thanks for the ride Ed. It was a real joy getting to know you guys, and the most relaxed drive I’ve ever had cross country.
John Harrison lol
How has pixar not contacted Ed to do a voiceover for a character yet? This needs to happen.
What kind of character would be most appropriate? Albino boa constrictor perhaps?
VINwiki lol yes! Or something that can have excellent hair.
3vilsock Great hair? Like an albino boa constrictor.
A Shrew that's a negotiator
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I wish one of those channels that makes animations like TheOdd1out would animate one of Eds videos.
0:36 “go slower and have a relaxed run” as he’s going 102mph with a Cadillac fleetwood
We want more ed bolian videos, this guy is awesome
Ed is the best story teller ever I guess it’s the car salesman in him, I swear Ed prob could sell me a bag full of s*%t for any amount of money lmfao. Oh btw thanks for the awesome surprise today uploading two awesome videos!!!
Tyrone James don’t worry Tyrone that’s lots left for you to suck too.
Just the way that Ed talks makes me think he's really good at talking his way out of tickets.
I know I'm not the only one that checked the expiration date on the driving licence
Fun fact (possibly): In the UK if you earned your licence pre 1998 it doesn't expire until you're 70 years old
@@daveangelew I just got an UK loicencee. I'm good for 10 years now. And a new passport.
2 VINwiki episodes in a day? wow thats a first!..thanks guys! loved you guys' contents..keep it coming!
Farhan Pramadipta what did I do to deserve this luxury
Farhan Pramadipta they did 2 episodes in a day a few weeks ago
This makes my Monday tolerable
We have done it a few times by accident but since it was a shorter month, we told Premier that we would do an extra couple videos.
Ed is a great story teller. My favorite.
Only Ed would have the cojones to negotiate the speed clocking on paper with an expired license to a police officer during a cannonball run. #shrewdnegotiator

Cannonball story on my birthday? Best birthday present ever. My 95 4Runner and I live vicariously through this channel !
Happy Birthday! Thanks for watching. Double videos for your birthday too!
VINwiki Great people beget great stories ! Keep up the good work ! Double videos rock.
I'm so down for this! I'd make a helluva driver Ed!
That Cordoba in the slideshow is pretty cool! I bought a beater one with no money to get it back to stable running condition, and I drove it till it quit! Loved it!
I really love this man´s stories of his life with cars.
And onto binge watching anything that has anything to do with cannonball
I've got a 96 fleetwood limousine and it will go ~471 miles before running out of gas(at 70MPH)
I love these cannonball stories 😄 they are some of my favorite. Makes me want to do a cannonball run
Soulfully a few of us (fittingly from south of atlanta) have talked for some time of the same. 24 hours of lemons has been discussed as well. We have a slew of cheap cars, but the organizing of that many people to make it fun. In time I think we will have a fun field
Soulfully BUY A CAR AND DO IT!😎😄
Arne doing 111 mph while passing my hometown on I-80 l noticed. Lol. Love it! Great video and keep ' em coming!
Wasn't me, that would be illegal

people that drive cannonball are the ones behind your bumper
I want ed to read me bedtime stories, his voice is amazing
I love these videos, especially when you get an Ed reply
Keep on loving it! -Ed
I need a bucket to fill up all this guy's stories....good stuff.
Ed's hand gestures are mesmerizing :]
I wish they still were doing this. One of my dreams and to think it won't happen again.

Hallelujah!!!!!! Your stories are my favourite, keep it up! and i am saying this before even watching the video
i love listening to these while i study
I used to haul ass when I drove limousine. From Reno to Tahoe in a blinding snowstorm. I knew if I went sideways I'd never get it back. Wrap that Lincoln around a tree.
I drive an Elantra. Can't say it's a great car, but allegedly I was told that it will top out at about 124mph. Not bad for a 1.8L 145HP compact.
RandoCrypto my .45L 54hp dirtbike does 108 :)
I got my $500 2000 Corolla (125 HP 1.8l) up to 113 mph :)
I went 135 in my 750 dollar 95 Lexus, had the suspension been solid I'd have taken it all the way to the 160 mph limiter
Alex Laney sc400?
That Volvo Hearse XD haha!
They won the livery competition
An Ed story on Vinwiki? Yep thats how a day is made better!
Look at that glory at 3:29 . I love old pictures like that, but I also have a weird affliction for Chevy Citations. Call me strange, but Don Yenko's work when he helped develop the X-11 package? 8:26 that Aquabats outfit is great!
Next run bring me along lol...
Keep the stories coming! Great work

Last time i was this early it was another Ed story
I love waking up to see these videos.
Great stuff, thanks Ed!
Make a how to cannonball episode. I'm absolutely inspired to try the 2904 some day soon. Thanks for everything.
Thanks for the longer video.
Great story like usual, Ed. Have you guys considered having Brian Scotto on the show? I'd reckon he would have some interesting stories to tell
8:22 You did the cannonball with an aquabat? Thats super rad
Ed always tells the best story out of any of the people who come on here. The Shit is awesome and he has a TV/radio voice that is great haha love this dam channel
god I love ed story's
Yeah...the most interesting ones too!
I've been waiting for this upload since I saw the video initially mentioning the caddy
Ed, you gotta get David Freiburger to come on. Any plans in the works for that?
Yes. We will get in touch with him.
He's the best story teller
This dude needs his own tv show
Man I need to do an cannonball run. Shame the 2904 isn't around anymore, I really wanted to do that.
Be a good anniversary to do rules of a maximum of a 70-80bhp car... That would be a long ol trip!!
The last time I was this early 2 exchange students still had insurance on their Lambo.
Good one
Double Vids, Double the fun!
Nani? deoxide watches vinwiki?
Ed seems like such a cool ass dude, almost like a myth like a bill brasky of some sort.
As someone who lives 5 minutes from Henry county I can’t believe they let that slide, they’re terrible in that county.
I’m in auto parts myself and the fuel gauge in the 90s and 2000 Chevy’s always had issues. I myself have a 99 Cavalier base model as my first car every other day I had to put in 10 bucks of gas because I have no idea how much gas I had.
Nice to see a 2nd Gen Monte Carlo in the run, too bad it broke down.
Awesome, hilarious video, the pictures were hilarious! Love it. RIP deer.
Those old lt1s are beast
I wanna do a cannon ball run that's on my bucket list
So funny, I used to own a red Lincoln Mark VIII just like that and I had an incident with a deer that rammed into the side of the car late one night, hearing another Mark VIII having a accident with a deer just made me laugh.

DO MORE ED STORIES WE LOVE YOU ED
Dawson Christian I think someone has a little but too serious of a crush on Ed
Yes I've been waiting on that this one ever since we heard about the caddy
They should do a video showing us everything in the background of the videos
Ed is my hero.
You should have painted the thing in Army colors (if someone gets the Movie reference).
Ed really needs to make an audio book
Great stuff, Ed. ¡Love your moxie - to ask the Officer for an even further reduction.
My co-outlaws found that rather amusing.
We were stunned and amazed.
Cadillac Northstar engines are great when working properly. A massive pain in the butt to fix though.
ThriftStore Hacker This was the much more reliable 4.8VFI the earlier Deville's had. I owned both, never once had an issue with the 93 with the VFI but the dumbass 99 and 02 I owned BOTH started overheating, and breaking down. Garbage ass engines
I think I'd like to do the C to C in my 79 Camaro. Any chance an LS swapped Camaro would be eligible? Or is there a price limit on those older cars?
Darn I'm kinda sad they aren't still doing these.
Is that 85 octane at the pump? I've never seen that before, the lowest it goes anywhere I've ever been to is 87.
Audi V6s and v8s share the same bellhousing bolt pattern as your Audi 5cyl. Get the belt drive OHC 4.2V8 from a late 90s A6 and shove it in there.
I really want to do a solo cannonball run, and get into doing the 2904 should there be another one coming up.
I could see the organizers "Bolian is not gonna try to win?? Pssht! Yahright!!"
I click on the video and the first thing ed says is "every one was fine... other then the deer" Jesus Christ that's one way to start a video
Hey Ed, I see the 2904 hasn't had a run since '15, are there any other cross country races happening this year that you know of? I got to see Gumball '16 start in Ireland (What a trip, from New Orleans to Ireland) and since then I have been hooked.
That is such a cool car for this type of thing. i bet it got some crazy looks.
@ 3:28 there is a black car parked at the curb,,is that a SA22C/s1 rx7??
That V70R❤️❤️❤️
This guy is living the American dream.
Cool story love caddy limo
Yall cut through Nebraska. Nice.
Is it unusual for DMVs to notify you when your license is about to expire? I got a notice reminding me to renew my license a few months before it expired (California DMV), is that not a thing in other states?
hey Ed ...why don't you do an East to west coast in canada .. ?
Me and some friend bought a 75 Chevy Nova and are building it for a canonball run but we have no idea how to enter. Any advice?
That Audi tho.... Love that model.
I have a '93 Fleetwood! Great car..
Hey in which state are the roads smoothest and in best conditions from your experience?
Was watching the other video, realized this one had Ed... switched, no regrets.
oh man!!! no joke i saw that limo outside my place i live right across the street from Coit Tower i jsut didnt know what was going on lol now that i saw this it just reminded me :D that was awesome
2 in a day? Perfection
two videos yay!
Nitish suresh Hopefully they aren't taken down before I finish!

At 3:05 there is a teepeed dino in the back
