    Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
    Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
    The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019. - Wikipedia

    I'm just hoping that they won't ruin the game again, Im acctualy beginning to enjoy the game for once

    They need to change the flying mechanics and physics so we can dogfight and not stall all the times or breaks breaks breaks there is no skill .

    Horrible changes for tankers, but I’m not surprised, in the past, with all previous editions, they always makes changes that discourage tanking because all the CoD players start whining about being killed by tanks. I remember when infantry feared tanks and ran away. Now it’s like you are driving an Ice Cream Truck on a hot summers day, all them come charging at you. These changes ain’t changing anything that will help tankers PTFO, quite the contrary, it will be worse with 24 mines surrounding an objective. Any one of them disabling your tracks. And infantry still have way too much explosive ordinance. MBGA!

    Nerfing the LVT? It's a dual-50 cal turret. It's SUPPOSED to delete infantry! It was fine the way it was. It was OP against infantry (as it should be) but had a huge weakness against other armor. Which you WILL eventually run up against. Besides that, Assault can easily blow you up if you're not careful. I thought it was perfect before. I didn't see it all that much on the battlefield anyway. Probably because of how weak it was when other armor was around.

    As a former world of tanks veteran, this makes me sad they're simplifying tank combat. I would love to roll in a churchill and angle that baby so I could 1v1 tigers like nothing. It really rewarded those of us who learned how to side scrape and actually learn tank combat

    In my experience so far it's still easy for infantry to overwhelm because they have been trained for a year to think that a tank in close range isn't a threat, so they still swarm you and disable your tracks/turret/engine. I don't think any amount of tank buffing outside of major speed and turret speed buffs - or removing the ability to disable parts of your vehicle like BF4 - will account for that.

    These are the best changes to come out of this patch but I still feel there is greener grass yet to come.

    Well explained as usual man. Is it sad that I'm just excited we get some MG damage back😅 I guess time will tell about the other changes, Piat trajectory maybe could have been dumbed back a little maybe🤷‍♂️
