    Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
    Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
    The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. It is playable by 64 players, which are divided into up to 16 squads with a focus on team work.Firestorm is scheduled to be released in March 2019. - Wikipedia

      Does the placement of your dynamite on the rear vs the front armor effect the damage as well?

      How does the side skirt reduce the dmg? Does it make it tough to be exactly like front armor?

      @@konghulk9497 my understanding is that the dynamite position matters. The side skirts don't help with damage reduction afaik. They help reduce the chances of track destruction (possibly by requiring more damage to be taken before the part gets destroyed)

    I still cant believe this channel hasnt taken off yet ^^ The content and vids are spot on and very well made, there arent even any forced "filler sentences" like Westie uses them 70% of his videos to get over 10 minutes ^^ Someday you'll get the attention you deserve :) great video btw :D

    This dude is spot on about the whole angle thing on tank heavy maps I purposely approach objectives at angles to get an immediate advantage and usually the first shot

      Using APCR also makes tanks more viable against other tanks

    This deserves lots of upvotes. What surprises me is that DICE doesn't actually use SIN/COS but rather just coefficients.

    When I encounter tiger or churchill tank in close range when I drive panzer v or valentine, I just rush into them and crash into them and continously press them. Then most of case, their tank climb my tank and cannot shoot me. looks like salty play but its quite useful cuz they cannot shoot me

    This gameplay makes me hungry to go on an armored rampage.. Love the panzer iv, I think its my favorite tank. The churchill with the howitzer is my favorite anti infantry tank as well as anti tank if youre up close with those hesh rounds. Theyre devastating

    Glad I've always angled my tanks. I'm into tanks for real so I've always taken the angle your tank in games every time. Glad to see it really works in most games

    Question: these agles also matter when fighting from above and below, right?
    Because then a tank on the lower level would have a considerable advantage over his enemy as his entire canopy has a huge chance to recochet, doesn't it?

      Debott yep when you’re able to approach your target from above, forget it, I took out three Churchill’s with a tiger on panzerstorm and won the engagement, if you get them from above it’s over

      Yea elevation will also change the angle and it will most likely work the same way as the angle does horizontally.

    I can't tell for sure, but has tank combat ever before been this detailed in the Battlefield series? It seems like the skill ceiling has skyrocketed since the last time I played.

      Mostly because they are using this rock/paper/scissors system with light,medium and heavy tanks and the addition of turret dmg.

      They are really not rock paper scissors since they don't really counter each other that way. And there may be some of that in BF1 before but I didn't really play that game so I can't comment too much regarding that.

    Isn't there some weird hitbox shenanigans where you can shoot the track from the front and get "side" hits? Whenever I'm fighting a tiger im paranoid about going for the turret from the front in case I hit the mantlet, so I shoot the front of the track and it at least seems to me to do a lot of damage (plus kills the mobility).

      Shooting the track is smart so you get a sitting duck. Especially with cover in sight behind which they can hide. Just as that i aim for the turrent when its aiming away so it takes them longer to return fire.

    #Azura do you know if the bottom of the tanks have a damage multiplier? There are a lot of times when I ran a tank and my gun is point blank into the bottom of the enemy and was wondering if there are any stats on that.

      The top and the bottom have multipliers, but currently I am not 100% sure which one it uses and where the line changes
