Thanks for the tutorial. I had a go at a similar effect about a month ago, but honestly it was a bit messy. You have shown me a few extra steps to clean it up. Thank you and subscribed.
Really Nice all your tutuorials. Please More videos with davinci resolve. Can you tell me please where did you download the Ground debris? I Hope it is for free
i guess this is a good tutorial in how to use fusion but you way WAYYYYY over complicated how to achieve this, but its good to use a popular thing as a way to educate
I've seen something similar in the past, this is nicely presented. You didn't go into deets on how you save/pre-render the reverse clip (to which format), which is an area I'm not quite set on. I'd like it to not be lossy if possible. I wonder if there is another way to accomplish this w/o going to deliver quicktime/mp4?
Good point, so personally I just used the deliver page and pre-rendered as an MP4 however you could always reverse the clip in Fusion and Cache it to disk as .RAW files. This would preserve quality whilst not bogging down the comp.
You can do but doing it this way means your shots will line up perfectly. If you just pan the footage down you have to make sure the framing is exact. Panning down first gets the footage you need and makes sure it lines up with the rest of your shot without having to worry.
plz make more videos about superhero effects.
Davinchi 16,17?
The bottom left corner of the window says "DaVinci Resolve 16".
Would you recommend shooting the video at a higher framerate than 180degres to make roto more easy and accurate?
Do you mean frame rate as in frames per second, or the angle of the camera?
A good tutorial thank you very much
Thanks! :)
can you make a video for me
NICE LANDING, I MEANT, NICE VFX

Instead of going through all that trouble in the beginning can't we just pan down and get that footage that way???

content tip you might know this by now try to show the special effect first before the tutorial it increases more interest😁👍
Thanks for the tip! I did put it at the start but maybe it needs to be even sooner ;)
What key do you use to trim and split?
Hey it's CTRL + \ to split the clip. CTRL + Shift and [ or ] will ripple trim.
Ripple trim?
@@floatingmarshmallowmilksha8345 Not sure if that is the correct term but it cuts the clip and moves everything up to that point.
Ok
sooooo ima just use the polygon mask and rotoscope put myself each frame because ehat your doing seems to complicated😂
Would be a lot more impressive if I hadn't seen it done a few times before with even the exact landing position with the arm and impact dirt etc.
I'm not out to impress anyone with impressive, original shots, just to apply techniques in Resolve.
