Welcome 😊. I don’t know if he does it this way. But this is the easiest way I know in After Effects. In a 3D software it would be a no brainer.

While the layers are five before making a roto brush, there are six layers when making a roto brush. which layer are you copying?

Oh, I see. It would be simpler if there were no obvious shadows. I guessed most of it before, but some details were not handled well.

I think a white surface would be beneficial as well as you could extract the shadows easily

@@MichaelPonch Hello. I met a problem. When I follow your video and click unstretch, the cup still cannot overlap with the previous frame.

@@lookingchina7235 at the time you froze the cup it should be the same position like in the original frame. When the position differs from the frame before (when the cup is actual there) then easiest way is to rescale/reposition what is before the freeze. Or you could use the transform effect before power pin to fix the position
