That is, why I love Building Simulation. You start with a tiny village, barely alive and crows up to an absolute amazing megacity. The evolution behind this, the entire story, just thrills me. I mean everything in this universe has an evolutionstory, even the universe itself. Just take your time and listen to this stories (or watch it, in this case) and it will become a part of your story too, as you are a part of the story of this universe.
colony/empire/city building is the peak of gaming. newcomers to gaming world maybe like.. FPS, Racing, and stuff. but for veterans in gaming, obviously they prefer more about this kind of genre. the colony/empire/city building games. Cities Skylines, Dwarf Fortress, Hearts of Iron, Anno, Rim World, Spore, Stellaris, and more.
@@DBT1007 i would not say that vetarans in gaming prefer building games, it just depends on the personal preference. I am gaming for a long time now and i still like shooters but i am more into that survival/hardcore genre and 70-80% of the time i play those games. But i like building and/or sandbox games too and that since i've started gaming and i play it from time to time. But if they are to hardcore i don't like them, like hearts of iron (ok this is strategy but i play those too, but mainly AOE or the total war games), Hearts of iron is just to much for me i want to play but i don't want to feel like i need to study the game to play it proberly :D So yeah it just depends, i mean i even know people that never liked strategy, or building games and they don't play them even after 30 years of gaming.
Wow! I remember thinking that when you ended this series but you are the master of building and you should be so proud!! It's awesome and amazing! Truly a work of art in city building!! Just love it!!! Mesmerizing to watch!
The grand vision a brit, the appreciation of aesthetics like a Frenchman and the executive precision of a german architect. Felt homesick watching some of the districts fam.
Found the video randomly to get a look at how people build their city. Now after 30 minutes I'm still watching and the work done is truly incredible, good job !

A nice watch with nice music. 😁 I only saw one full gameplay of this game, and the person made it all efficient, but not beautiful at all. I didn't even know that cities could look that awesome.
Totally love this game. This game basically made me buy a gaming pc lol. Playing the story mode I can’t make the roads that wide you’ll definitely run out of space quickly 😅😂
You know what, the whole process gives me sort of "Attack on Titan" feels. Idk but everything just fits, just with no titans in it. Also, the music kind of have the same vibes. Kudos!
This is amazing metropolis. I wish they add Computer Age or Digital Age DLC or Modern Day DLC where we can have modern cars, radio and broadcasting stations, telecommunication towers and diesel-powered or electric powered trains (and trams), Malls etc., Your work is beautiful. Love it
I recognise this style of planning and grid building :D I was doing it since Anno 1601 when i was a child. I counted EVERY little square of EVERY builidng and street to optimise number of citizens and wrote it on paper and in paint. Sad part was that for big cities small trading capacity and to little amount of ships to gather goods on time were the bottle necks :/
im amaze on you city building strat. very detailed, im so imppress. more anno 1800 content. sadly anno 1800 on your promo cant be activate here ins philippines.
Woooww ❤❤that’s hard @Nivarias could you please share a video or maybe instructions document about how to download install and activate mods for steam version of anno 1800? I have the complete edition year 4 but I thought it will include the majority
Hello, im just starting to play anno , how to get that huge island? I did many try new game to get huge island like the on in this video but seems i never get it, thanks in advance
There is a story about Picasso. It says his father was also a painter. When he saw what his son can draw in age of 13 he gave young Picasso all his brushes and paints and quit with painting for good. I have a same feeling now. I love playing this game, but I just realized how terrible I am at it :)
This is kinda the story of Liverpool except it started as a borough in 1207 and until the advent of Atlantic trade had a population of barely 500 then it sprung into this bustling city and one of the largest ports in the world.
Wow! How do you changed the Architecture style of theses buildings? 😮 from German->Parisian->British style. Is a Mod? I can install in the game? And how?
After watching this I feel like not playing this game anymore as I know, anything Ill do is shit compared to what could be possible. Also, give that dude a 3090. He deserves a GPU that can yield appropriate framerates at that density of action. This town demands it.
I know this is a noob question, but i'm new to the game. Why you are building double roads or even triple? I suppose to make room for railway tracks later? But still aren't triple too many? Also why you are making the grid like 3*3 and you leave one empty in the middle, or you at some points you make odd shapes, that leave some empty room between residences? Thank you!
If my Girl would ask me too come over now, because she is home alone. I would tell her i cant i am watching a Masterpice. Absolutly amazing. How log did this take? Much love frome germany.
I am about to start building Crown Falls and i want my build to be more of a unique one. Also i see you are busy with Farthest Frontier, but i hope i get your attention - much respect if. Why is the main street 5 tiles wide and the small street above the port at 01:06 mark 4 tiles wide? Or at least point me out to some of your playtrough/walktrough videos, i don't mind watching and educate.
@@Nivarias Okay, so point of advice is keep the main avenue 5 tiles wide and the off-avenues 3-4 tiles, just to have spare space, if needed later. I will do my own build, but I was just wondering about the start of it, also i am seeing people putting factories in the middle of a house block, looks nice, i thing i will go for the more natural style, instead of a Factorio building, but sometimes it's a pain in the a*s to aim for beauty, instead of productivity, still - factorio is one big blueprint book and mall blueprint, which kills it all and i get why Anno isn't like it. Thank you once again, i am still thinking about the build, before i fall asleep, you know how it goes with games.
That is, why I love Building Simulation. You start with a tiny village, barely alive and crows up to an absolute amazing megacity. The evolution behind this, the entire story, just thrills me.

Watching the episodes before seeing this has been satisfying, I like seeing things being built from the ground up. Well done.
