Thank you David! I find it gives me a pretty good depth of field that covers almost all of the frame. Seems to have a similar look to f/11 on full frame so that's why it's become my go to aperture setting. I do shuffle it around a bit depending on what I'm shooting but it's my first setting to try.
@@LeighWPhotos hiya Leigh, I’ve only had my om1 for a short while so pretty new to settings. Really happy I stumbled upon your channel. I’ll go out today and try these settings. Thank you very much for replying. 🙏😊
Thanks Wayne! Definitely looking at a few different lens options and have bought the 12-100mm Pro for a "do it all" hiking lens. Expect some shots and a brief review soon I think!
@@LeighWPhotos I've used the 12-100mm for a couple of years, it became almost welded to my em1 mkiii! The 8-25mm (and 12-45mm) are also very very good.
@@brianlaunchbury4491 from the few little tests I e done with it the 12-200 seems to be the perfect walk around lens and I think it'll be joining us in the lakes again very soon
I've found Live ND to be extremely weak for sunlit conditions. I gave up on Live ND since I still must carry an ND filter anyway. Why use the fake looking Live ND ?
Beautiful photos. Would you please do a video showing how you set the seconds for Live ND. I have a new Om 1 Mark ii. Thanks.
Thank you, I'll see what I can sort out 😊
Some nice images, especially the last set. Nice to see another serious landscape photographer making the most of the OM-1!
Thanks Mike. I can feel another visit to the lakes coming on soon with some potential for a few more of the fells being visited!
Great technique and images
Thank you Kevin!
great photos buddy, do you find f8 is the best setting for landscape photos with this lens? I've been using f6.

Perfect weather for it today too! Have a great time experimenting!
Excellent pictures mate if you can get hold of the 8-25 pro that lens is stellar.

It has it's uses and really works well in lower light conditions. Actually combined with a real Nd filter it's quite a handy feature!
