Yeah the weakest ones just slink away. Mine who was a doctor hadn't had any contact with his ex wife in the 2 and a half years since she walked out, went no contact, and filed for divorce. He had a few rages about her, reliving the narcissistic injury, a couple times went into victim narrative about her, and just once exposed the actual shame and failure he felt, buried somewhere. They were a perfect match on paper, and were of the same uncommon ethnicity here in the states. I can't even imagine what she must have gone through to walk like that after 3 years of marriage, 7 years together, but I put in just 9 months with him and had to do the same. Highly doubt I'll hear from him again, I think he was comorbid aspd/sociopathy though, my prior dealings with grandiose rats didn't prepare me for the malignant covert!
@@evyjay Mine raged about his ex too. He wouldn't shut up about her, I had to keep telling him to stop. Every single time we would be together he'd say something negative about her, how she ruined his career, and would tell me unsavory stories, probably none of it was true. He never could let go, now he's probably doing the same thing about me.
Thank you, Joe. This was immensely helpful, reassuring and supportive. I know exactly what to expect now and I act accordingly. Takes practice to become emotionally detached, but it's possible. I got out of that rat cage and its version of reality and put myself back into the perspective of an observer. The feeling is quite liberating.
I dont personally think of them as unique creatures, as they all play the exact same game as other Narcs. They're all the same ... not very unique at all. They learned from the same rule book as each other. They are Clones in reality.

Thank you again, Joe for your videos. I was in an entanglement with a narcissist half a year ago and during an initial four months of no contact, gained so much education from your channel. After the four months, I received an initial grand hoover with many follow up hoovers, calls and voice messages left by the narcissist. I had learnt so much by then that it enabled me to side step a round two with him. So thank you again most sincerely. Your voice is so calming that I listen to you at night. They also try to make their karma yours too, especially when they figure out you’re never coming back to their energy. When you remove your energy and transfer or pull your energy back from them karma it hits them full and harder in the face. That’s why no contact is so important, if you can manage that and heal. You gotta get out of the way and starve that slimy energy of theirs back to hell.
I experimented as youve suggested, and yes i witnessed him pull away just when i needed his support, so i knew not to expect supporr at these times. Luckily for me i was primed growing up in a narc childhood home. This just helped me to gradually withdraw to the point i could go no contact.
You nailed it with the Twilight example, haha. I used to watch it again back in time, and I also figured out how he was the Edward, and me the Bella, lol. Also especially on New Moon, how Bella feels empty and depressed from his abandomnent. Yeah that's how I felt. I'm so glad I finally moved on from him, and now he is drinking another one's blood. He clearly knows I don't stand anymore his behaviours, so, I'm glad he will not hoover. Don't want any kind of contact from him. (cute laugh there 🤭)

I made it clear from the beginning that IT was being psychoanalysed. Its response was; ‘psychoanalyse me! It would be my pleasure!’ IT wasn’t happy when After multiple Hoover attempts, I stated that the Experiment was Over! It claimed that I would always be piece of its soul! I don’t believe in soulmates. They ticked all the boxes. They will always be hollow! My soul was always intact! Never ignore the signs-your body always alerts you!
My last narcissist (covert/somatic) I realized was just a distraction from my exwife and the 10yrs of rape….frigid except when I was asleep…and the my acceptance of that at the time was just “chasing my mothers love” that never was. Got it figured out but I’m still f’ed up
