    Great job…. a master mechanic in the making! Lots of positives and a great build…. the battery position would not work for me especially when off road as I would fear for my future children! Also surprise someone recommended such long crank arms 175mm on a small frame is way off… I run 160mm lekkies on my ebike and 165mm on all my others - I have 32” inside led length. Keep up the good work, especially your style

    Depending on the suspension I see a lot of people putting them on the outside of the bottom of the triangle just in front of and above the cranks but on the bottom side of the tube but they're long and thin and rather than short and wide but it does look like a great spot if you get the right kind of battery and it's hard to notice it's there at first even

    I put the magnet and sensor as close to the rim as possible, butted up to the spoke nipple, I run a 29" rim and didn't want it reading out as a smaller diameter wheel by mistake

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  Рік тому

      Yes I put it there temporally and will try and put it as far as possible as it would be measuring as a very small wheel 👍

    • @baconbuttties
      @baconbuttties  Рік тому +1

      After a bit of Thinking and looking at the wheel it doesn't matter if the magnet is in the middle of the spoke or at the end of the spoke. Why? Because the spoke will still come around at the same time as its the wheels diameter that configures how many revolutions it does.

    It looks like one of those motorized bicycles with the tank on it - You can change it to have 9 assist levels from the setup menu on the bike display... double press to get into the menu and then go to advanced ... it's in there.. This bike is going to really haul ... I'm guessing at full power on the flat with you pedaling in top gear you will easily reach 50mph -- but it will depend on the gearing ratio of the bike ... what's the front chain ring size - the back will be an 11 tooth. I found I can easily hit 70kmh with a 38 - 11 on my X1 stealth on level 4 of 5. Beware of putting to much torque through your back wheel - those spokes aren't rated for 3000+W --- lol You may need to rebuild the wheel with 13 or 12G spokes far quicker than you'd like if you go full throttle and power output from standing... Anyway love your video's
