4:22 never realized that he just shot him in the lung and gave him a tension pneumothorax and batman just performed needle decompression on himself... shit's insane...
Local_ Hotpotato from what I’ve gathered from a quick google search, tension pneumothorax or a collapsed lung occurs when air escapes from the lung into the chest, building up air pressure. A method to resolve it is through needle decompression, where a thin needle is inserted into the area to reduce air pressure. The gunshot basically lacerated Batman’s lung, releasing air into his chest. Batman had to act quickly by depressurising his chest to avoid suffocating or having a heart attack due to the lack of oxygenated blood returning to his heart. Hope this helps!
22:18 I like the subtle transition the Jason makes from Arkham Knight, to what appears to be the beginnings of Red Hood. Even the armor panels on his chest go from blue to red.
And catch this: the suit probably has some mild form of active camouflaging capabilities. Would it be so crazy to assume that the suit turned red because it’s in a red room lit up by bright red lights?
Late comment but that never made sense to me why he had both red hood and Arkham knight. Batman would not know who he is either way. If this Batman can’t figure out that the Arkham Knight was Jason, then he wouldn’t be able to figure out Jason is Red Hood either.
You don’t know what I’d give to have an Alfred x Jason reunion. I know Bruce must’ve loved Jason but can you imagine how much Alfred must’ve grieved over little 13 year old Jason dying? The kid he used to tell to go to sleep because it was past his curfew now dead somewhere. And finding out he’s alive? Alfred must’ve went crazy himself trying to locate Jason. God I’d pay good money to see that
Why doesn’t DC never continue the story after they find Jason? Like in Under the Red Hood or this game. I just want to see Jason reunite with the Batfamily
If my calculations are correct, the joker kidnapped Jason, tortured him for six months, showed him a picture of Tim as the new Robin, kept him in Arkham for over a year total, shot him, and sent the video to Batman. Meaning Batman received "confirmed death" AFTER he had already replaced Jason. This game is fun as hell to play but it makes Batman seem like the worst father in the world.

Did anyone else hate how Jason just abandoned the Militia at the end? I know they’re a bunch a mercenaries, but when you listen to one thread of dialogue, one of them says that Jason found him when we was “in a bad place, and heading for a worse one.” The men show a genuine trust and belief in Jason, and even after all of his talk of being abandoned by Bruce, ditches the Militia. I feel it would’ve been better if he had pulled them out of Gotham and just taken his work elsewhere. Who knows, maybe he and his men could have done some good.

It would have been such an sad Scene but Of course Bruce Gotta be Cold hearted to his sons and Beat the shit out of them (Except Damian)
One of my fav parts is 25:07 when Batman is getting off Jason u can see his hands up but u can also see how scared he was and I feel like when Bruce was about to punch him he got a flash back to when he first met Jason and how scared he was being on the streets and knew that Jason was upset and scared more than angry
Troy Baker is a phenomenal voice actor and he got all the emotions right for Jason in the scene when Batman finds out the truth, but since the Arkham Knight sounded like a angry kid for the whole of the game, it was easy to tell that it was Jason Todd (for anyone who is familiar with the comic story and that was before all the flashbacks with Joker) very early on. In the Red Hood animated movie, Jensen Ackles played a very subtle and excellent performance as Jason throughout the film and only became emotional at the end where he and Batman came to blows with Joker. That is how Arkham Knight should have handled the character, which would have made the reveal all the more emotional for Batman and the player to experience.
that was what gave it away too,i think. The Arkham Knight's taunts were so bratty it becomes quite obvious who it is very early on, which was a shame imo since his design looks so cool and mature, but as soon as he opens his mouth and talks in that altered voice i'm just like "ok, Jason. Daddy Bat's gonna come getcha, please stop talking you're so much less cool now" Still really enjoyed the game though! And i was still excited when Jason revealed himself.
Idk though I still really like the way they handled him. It definitely caught me off guard. I mean I had a clue but what really made me sure was when I bought the red hood DLC and saw you can change skins from red hood to arkham knight. So that kinda ruined it. I still like the way he handled it tho.
As a comic fan I legit sorta could tell just from the fact that Jason is also petty and edgy so of course he would dress up ike batman and give himself the name arkham knight as a big FUCK YOU towards batman. He's always been a bratty little asshole, but I've grown to love him though.
It's actually different gun. If you see closely you saw that the gun jason use to threaten batman is small and the for the sniper is big, the small one is get knocked of by batman and then jason pull out the new one
Shit, even after almost 6 years I love the reveal scene. A part from the emotion and everything, this guy is just badass. The way he turns his two guns into a sniper rifle, removes his old mask and shows the "Red Hood" one while the suit changes color from blue to red... just fucking awesome...
Idc what nobody says I fucking loved the Arkham Knight even if I did know that he was Jason Todd. His voice when the mask is on, the surprise attacks, the fact that he’s the perfect villain because he knows almost everything about Batman and his tricks and his amor weak spots I LOVED IT

@@3headedsnake388 it's because he was tied up in the air for long hours when Joker tortured him and this cause blood circulation problems and muscle problems. His back and shoulders are permanently damaged. You can notice that his back is a lot more protected than the front and that there is no pattern on his back therefore drawing the attention to the front. Also, in the red hood dlc he is not able to move correctly one of his shoulders when he fights. His ankles are also damaged because Joker used to brake them with a crowbar so that he could not escape (he breaks them multiple time since it takes around 6 weeks for bones to heal and jason was there for around about a year and a half so yeah do the math) but I doubt this affects his posture and they also are more protected like his back and shoulders. If you compare his posture to other characters you can notice he is hunching.
It’s so annoying to me how right when Jason finally kind of submits, Batman turned away to talk to Alfred, as if that wasn’t an extremely fragile moment and his one opportunity to grab Jason and bring him home. When he stayed quiet and held his head down after Bruce said they could fix this, that was an indicator that Jason partially wanted him to take him, and was overcome with his conflicting emotions for a moment, which would have been the perfect time for Batman to restrain him or even gently hold him (which we all know Jason needed). When you talk to a trauma victim who is reacting like Jason, it’s very fragile and you have to keep complete focus on them or else they will run or do something crazy, it was so stupid of Batman to turn away right at that perfect moment when Jason was finally, after the WHOLE GAME, letting his guard down around Bruce. He really could have grabbed him or gotten through to him in that little moment.
He still had to free Gordon, and Scarecrow was right upstairs. Not to mention the 14 other things he had to do that night (Riddler, Hush, Deathstroke, Penguin, Two-Face, etc.)
Little late to the party, but Jason’s voice actor did an amazing job! The way he captures the emotions just right is incredible! I also believe he voiced Sam Drake from Uncharted
Derek Handson he doesnt want him dead cuz scarecrow wants to torture him first, he didnt shoot him in the face because if he did 1) batman would die 2) jason wouldn't prove the point that he knows batman
Derek Handson how's it ridiculous? He wasn't trying to kill him he was proving a point. Letting batman know he knows him and the loopholes in his armour. If he wanted him dead there he would have shot him there more then once a finished... Not to mention it's kind of obvious with his mouth

As much as the whole Arkham Knight reveal fell flat for anyone with enough knowledge of Bat-lore, he still has some awesome character designs. Using a red military tactical super suit as the basis for the Red Hood suit? Brilliant.
@bruhmanofyear2 That’s not what they meant. They meant that the reveal was too obvious for anybody who knew a lot about Batman. The game had a bunch of Jason hallucinations throughout, and they were long hallucinations at that. This is what I say about Arkham Knight vs Arkham Origins(arguably the most debated over games in the Arkhamverse): the concept of the Arkham Knight twist is more interesting, but the execution of the Arkham Origins twist was better. Like I said earlier, Knight was heavy on the hallucinations, to the point that even people that aren’t really invested in Bat-lore could piece an idea of who it was together, but Jason had not been a part of the series beforehand, so it’s nice for the non-invested people to have a new character thrown into the mix. Arkham Origins had no hints(as far as I remember) that Joker was masquerading as Black Mask, but the Joker appeared in every game before Origins so it kind of gets annoying to have him appear again, as much as we enjoy the guy 😂. You really can’t get rid of the son of a bitch.
@@shannonhughes203 okay but you realize that the hallucinations were from the fear toxin scarecrow made. That shit made Bruce remember the mistakes and majority of Joker's key moments that affected him deeply, plus with the Joker disease still in him, he was definitely getting PTSD with Barbara and Jason. This man remembers what happened to them and it hurts him and Joker knows that, he's trying to break Bruce so he can take control. The reveal of the Arkham Knight was definitely not flat, sure it was definitely expected by diehard batman fans, but for those who played the arkham games only and never really knew who Jason Todd was in the comics, the reveal was definitely crazy, these games even got me into the batman comics. Point I'm trying to make is that the reveal wasn't flat, it was another great version of who the character, Jason Todd really is.
For someone who didn't know who Jason Todd/Red Hood finding who the Arkham Knight was, was something that impacted me really hard and it was amazing, the reveal, the little details of who he is and and why he knew so much about Batman was really great, and i love how after the reveal of the Arkham Knight they changed it to Red hood that everyone knows

Ironically, the Arkham Knight was the person who saved Batman from Scarecrow when he was trying to kill him throughout the entire game. Doubly ironic, was the fact that Scarecrow, who had denied the Knight the many opportunities to kill Batman, was just about to kill Batman by shooting him in the head.
@@SB-vv4mu It's mentioned in the character audio tapes that you unlock once collecting a certain amount of Riddler's trophies. Anyway, Jason/AK approached Scarecrow, primarily, because of the fear toxin. Essentially, at first all Jason wanted was to pump Bruce full of gas, leave him to suffer a while and then kill him. It was actually the finance that cause the alliance between all the villains. The plan's budget was around 3 billion usd, nowhere near the kind of cash that SC alone would have.

And when Joker commenting on those Flashbacks that Jason was always a whiner, it made me instantly think of Arkham Knight. Cause he did sound like a whiner all the time.

Something I've noticed about red hood is that due to his anger on Bruce not finding him (more so feeling betrayed and felt as if Bruce didn't try) he used pistols. In simple mans terms? You peaked my interest

Daddy Bat's gonna come getcha, please stop talking you're so much less cool now"
Still really enjoyed the game though! And i was still excited when Jason revealed himself.

As much as the whole Arkham Knight reveal fell flat for anyone with enough knowledge of Bat-lore, he still has some awesome character designs. Using a red military tactical super suit as the basis for the Red Hood suit? Brilliant.
@bruhmanofyear2
That’s not what they meant.

Batman: I'm deciding which one of you guys to take out first
*BOI*
LMAO
The pause before BM says ‘..No”
Batman: I'm sorry i let Tim ride the Batmobile before you, i know what it's like.
Jason: Don't pretend to understand!!!
should've teased jason in the previous games, layering his flashbacks in knight made it to obvious he was the arkham knight
25:04 you can see the pain in his eyes. I would have loved to see him with his mask off a little more often , but this game was so good !
Stop-Stop tALking to me!!
Powered By Crossiants I laughed so hard 😂
+Ciara Grubbs yeah it was meant to show how badly Jason wants to get rid of Bruce
Bruh Moments I know it’s suppose to be serious but I couldn’t help but laugh at his voice crack
So angsty
I hated that line and the way he delivers it.
If you look into the game files, you can learn that the jump scare guy at the diner actually is Jason.
I thought that it might have been.
It could be Anarchy
@@Mohamad-m7md nope, it’s Jason
@@sloanewalker42
No not necessarily there was an A symbol in the table it’s Anarchy’s symbol
So it could be Anarchy
Not the best Arkham villain but definitely the most badass

@@Kooluvr-jd4pz shut up clown ur telling me to grow up? Look at ur pfp first I don’t understand how a clown like u ended up in a batman video get out and go to some cringe video
Cannot it can't just be me saying that, Rocksteady did a good job with The Arkam Knight and made him look Badass and didn't overuse him just like all the other villans
Omar they definitely didn't overuse him, but I would have wanted to see a bit more of him
tbh, no. they could made him MUCH better. for me his appearance was the only good part about him. i wish they would make him a loner just like in batman redhood cartoon and i wish we could see his boss fight at leats. this version of jason is just some crybaby who always lose agains batman so easily despite his big-ass army. and yeah he is always hiding behind them.
and i hate how he turm into redhood from A. K., the all reason is that masks been broken? really?
I kinda feel that they overused him in a way. Every time you finish any militia objective, he gets angry at you on the com. It's either villainous taunting or over the top angry emotional response... in that weird modified voice. Makes him sound kinda pathetic to me. And when Joker commenting on those Flashbacks that Jason was always a whiner, it made me instantly think of Arkham Knight. Cause he did sound like a whiner all the time.
They should have made him playable like you play as Batman but then it switches to the Knight I mean the game is called Batman Arkham Knight
@@trevorphilips9065 you should also be able to play as the asylum from arkham asylum then too
25:00 When you drop you Batman and Robin on the LEGO baseplate.
Chris Palmer ikr
That’s the funniest shit I’ve ever seen😂 they change it to the proper floor and then back a few times too😂
Lmfao funniest joke I heard all day
That’s what I was thinking lmao
Man, now I want a LEGO series based off the Arkham series.
29:06 was just jaw dropping and Jason finally realized that’s crazy
The joker deserve all those punches for what he did to Jason Batman got his revenge on joker
Joker forfeited his life privileges for what he did to Jason
@Justin Gary I don’t know if I should share my current religion, but ua-cam.com/video/_nXLsWFMOd0/v-deo.html
@Justin Gary I feel like you SORT OF veered off topic after the first sentence, homie.
Despite how underwhelming the Arkham Knight was, I did enjoy his backstory. I genuinely felt bad for poor Jason Todd.
Lightning Cayo they just made it so obvious that it was Jason Todd that’s why it was a letdown, if we wanted red hood just put him in the game not a new character playing an old character this was even more obvious than making obito was Tobin’in Naruto
Shawn Mathew it’s suppose to be obvious it shows how in denial Bruce is it’s easier for him to think Jason is dead than the thought he the world’s greatest detective failed hit son
poor sweet jason.
"He chose the name himself you know, Bless him :)"
It was Harley who named him
During torture
Something I've noticed about red hood is that due to his anger on Bruce not finding him (more so feeling betrayed and felt as if Bruce didn't try) he used pistols. Deep down he felt as if using a pistol would be more so avenging to himself. Killing Bruce with a pistol would remind of his parents death
