I’m just going to say it, Manu Bennett was the perfect choice for death stroke. They casted him perfectly
His performance is just phenomenal, that said i actually don't think he shoulda been cast as Deathstroke due to the fact that he isn't remotely big/tall enough to play DS. DS wasn't a giant or anything, but he has always been portrayed as being at least a few inches if not a full head taller than any other character, prolly somewhere around 6'3" or 6'4". Bennet is pretty damn stocky, but still not nearly jacked enough while also not only not being all that tall - he's in fact a little shorter than average. As good a job as Manu certainly did, he simply wasn't anywhere near as physically imposing and intimidating as DS is shown to be in both the comics and in animated tv-series/movies. The guy playing DS in "Titans" also did a phenomenal job, but he was even smaller and less intimidating looking than Manu was for fuck's sake.
Hugh Jackman shouldn't play Wolverine either by that logic. Isn't Wolverine 5'3 in comics?

Imagine manu version deathstroke with the mirakuru in titans. Would of solo them all lmao. The titans version of deathstroke was a complete joke, no mirakuru and the titans still struggled with him as a group😂
@@GolfInHawaii69 He's 5'11", so i may have exagerated how short he is a bit, but that's still way too short to be nearly as imposing and intimidating as Deathstroke is supposed to be. At the end of the day though, it's just my opinion and your welcome to your own.
It's fascinating how people with guns like to run to enemy just to die.

Billy Wintergreen has gotta be one of the most underrated live-action supervillains of all time. He would’ve been an amazing match for The Hood in Season 1.

@@ArcTrooperRod-269 - He's way too short and stocky (and bald). He was a fantastic character in the show *Gotham* , Captain Barnes... I can't really get into specifics because of some heavy spoilers, and I'm still trying to get DC fans to watch this show.
But nope, I don't see him as Slade at all.
Esai Morales from *Titans* was fantastic though, he made season 2 really cool.
Shame that the writting for *Titans* isn't that great, especially compared to its cousin-show that started out as a Titanverse , *Doom Patrol* ...
Still, I think most people online are kinda unfair toward *Titans* ... it got us a great Dick Grayson (both a himself, Robin and Nightwing), a great Jason Todd, fantastic as Robin & Red Hood... almost all the casting is on point IMHO, except Ian Glein as Bruce Wayne, which is a shame since he was have been sooooo perfect as Alfred....
I think Scott Adkins or Michael Jai White would also make a great deathstroke bc they are master martial artist irl.

Im not gonna lie, I was so used to deathstroke being a batman villain that I thought this was not gonna work. Turns out it works perfectly, the cast was honestly the best for deathstroke I've seen live action in my opinion, and it was very interesting for him to be green arrows villain.
I looked forward to watching this for 7 years. I didnt realise how much i missed it.

What makes Arrow’s Deathstroke an absolutely great villain is his descent into becoming one. He was initially Oliver’s mentor and basically the overarching support figure of the show’s vigilante hero, until you start to find out that they went down a road of separation and betrayal (kind of), where he just becomes an outright villain after everything they’ve been through. I don’t even care he’s Australian in this universe, the same universe gave us the Flash so him being Australian is just a unique touch.

7:44 when I first saw Deathstroke come through and mop everybody up that's when I really became a fan!! And they did a very well choreographed fight sequence with Deathstroke how come they couldn't bring that same energy to Batwoman? 🧐

i like arrowverse deathstroke so much, back then when the actor was in jail, i was thinking omg would he ever return in arrow again? then 2 years later in season 5 he returned in finale i was so happy, later when i saw trailer he was season 6 for 2 episodes, i was so happy that was my most aniticipated episodes in arrow

I enjoy deathstroke but the acting in arrow is to obvious. Alot of the fights are to reliant on the camera effects or they look like they are dancing. Either way I wish they could have done better
