I am a mom who happens to be a soccer coach. I bought my kids a boat and wakeboards. They like your videos best. You have a great personality and passion. Your communication is getting better. When I train kids to do a soccer move I break it up into parts which you do but to make it solid gold number the steps put those numbered steps to the left of you on the screen. Then add a little quiz, step one is? Then pop it onto the list step two pop it onto the list. Even better would be showing pictures of those steps rather than words. Before you hit the water you should do it in your head maybe "Know before you Go!"
Great tutorial as always and thanks for throwing my video in there. Can’t wait to see what other videos you re-do. I’ve been watching you from the beginning and each and every video gets better and better. Keep it up!
This video helped me add a new trick to my arsenal! I was going about attempting backflips all wrong. After watching your video I got it on my second attempt! Just uploaded it 🤙🏼
If you a small wake try them on dub up's it's good practice at hitting them and good practice for the driver's as well, makes a big difference. This lil tip helped me when you throw your head back pop ya chest out and try and pinch your shoulder blades together...You have a mad style Dave.
Hey David, love that your going back with the tutorials. Im a beginner park rider myself and would love to see some intermediate tutorials on your channel. Otherwise keep up the good work. Pro board, yew!
If you are good with backflip on a trampoline go with a tantrum for sure, if you are way more comfortable with front flips then a back roll may be more comfortable, or if flipping doesn’t seem like it will come easy go for a 1 wake 360
David I would like to see you do this trick from the opposite side(start from starboard side). That’s how I am most comfortable riding and approaching the wake to attempt a jump or Trick. I think it would help me seeing it from the opposite side. Thanks!
Where does the power for the backflip rotation come from exactly? On the ground, you use your legs and you're not supposed to throw your head backwards. Is it the opposite for wakeboarding? Seems like it may be so given the last critique...
Tantrum’s an awesome trick - my first flip but, the thing to know about this trick - it is THE gateway drug for those of us who do to naturally backroll/front flip - after this I was able to first time front rolls, front side back rolls, scare crows, etc. - everything non BS Roll/FF became EASY!!!
If I can backflip on a snowboard should this be very similar. Want to try it really bad. Weird how I’m more scared to try it into water then onto hard snow
Dave-O can you teach us a lot of different snowboard style grabs abd the combine them with front and back 360s? Think it'd need to be a boat session? Im a kiter but wana get into unhooked so kite low wakeboard waketowake stlye grabs. Any info would be helpful. Dont worry i dont need advice on the kite part haha
YEEEWW GREAT VID!! LOVE THE TUTORIALS!! that was the first reason i came in contact with you. can u make a tantrum with a grab? that would realy mean the world to me. cuz i think i have the mistake of looking downwards (at the board) to early of somekind (like last guy in the video). so would realy appriciate that! Keep up the good work buddy!!
You killed it man without this video there’s no way I would’ve landed a tantrum second try! Thanks man
Bro me tooo. Literally. Not from this video but one exactly like it. Keep killing it bro.

This guy's enthusiasm for what I'm now learning to do, & hopefully teach my young 'uns, is infectious, this is the go-to wakeboarding channel
Love the "what could go wrong" part. Thanx! Awesome vid
I used to watch these videos all the time they helped me a lot, snuck back into my recommended.

You are so smooth, almost as smooth as Mr. Shaun Murray!
Excellent video like the way you explained that love the Energy you put into that brought another smile perfect thank you Dave

Please do a cable video for tantrum/ backroll. It would help me out sooooo much!!! You're the best!
do more videos where you teach people, it helps us avoid their pitfalls
Thanks man this really helped landed jr first try but 3rd attempt pulled my shoulder right out but was so worth it so stoked on landing it!!!!
Great tutorial! Thanks for throwing my video in there! And yea it is a small ski-boat wake on an old Centurion!
Dave! please remake the backroll tutorial as well!

Spring's right around the corner, time to learn some new tricks!
Love the most lit wakeboard tutorials!
Nice revamp of this man. if you could do a cable version of this in the near future that would be awesome!
Tantrum vs Back Roll vs 360. Where to start first?
Ryan C whatever’s less scary to you I only have the 360 down next is tantrum, backrolls are weird to me lol
If you are good with backflip on a trampoline go with a tantrum for sure, if you are way more comfortable with front flips then a back roll may be more comfortable, or if flipping doesn’t seem like it will come easy go for a 1 wake 360
I went back roll, tantrum, then 360 on 4th time trying. if you have good board control then try a couple 360s I bet you'll get it quick!
i did 360 then backroll and moving on to tantrum
same
Haha day and night compared to the original video!!You have come a long way!!!
Ah the good old hedge background. Nice!

Low on deck tow rope height or elevated top point tow height for wake boarding?
The straight arm thing should help me can’t wait for April
Can you do a nee video like this for the backroll too
You read my mind...this video is perfect :)

I can't seem to get the guts to try this out... any tips? or do I just have to send it?
Kyle Schomaker go at a slower boat speed just to do the first one. That will get you over the fear!
Cruize c thanks a ton for the tip! Will have to try that out.
what if I can only backflip into a foam pit? like clearing easily just no balls...
Thanks for information 🔥im beginner
First time I tried this one, broke my foot and was rehabbing for 6 months! Be careful!!!
How did u break your foot??
I need to land a tantrum this year got so close on my last time out 😭😭😭
I always bend my arm too but I got close on my last time with Just a little bend pray I land it this year 👌🏼😂
Do you think you could learn this in a day ?
please do more voice overs over slomo wakeboarding clips. i really liked the example clips but you need to slow them down and voice over them
Got my first tantrum today on my 138 doc valhalla out at Berryessa Watersports on Lake Berryessa in California.
*first ever, and on the first day I got the board. I'm so stoked.
I just stopped the video at second nr 7 and looked at how you bend your arm..... Why did you bend it while you explain not to do so in the video?
Martin van der Lee he has enough board control and has done it enough time to know what works for him
No wonder I kept doing a 180
Sick
Tough out here when your 6’3
I landed my First Tantrum with a very small wake jiiiiiihaaaaa ❤❤❤❤
Jordan!!!!!
Jordan Auge 😂😂😂
easier said than done hahhaah
