  • What flip/invert is the easiest?!? Well in my opinion and experience it's the toeeside backroll, particularly off the kicker/ramp.
It's important to approach the ramp slowly, and just before you get to it, take your back hand off the handle.
Make sure to ride to the top of the kicker, and then push off like you would on a backflip on the trampoline.
From there, tuck your knees in, and look back with your head.
As you rotate around, look for the water.
On the landing, bend your knees to absorb the impact, and keep your head up looking at the far shore.
Hopefully this helps, and thanks for watching.
    Dave

Always love your videos Dave! I would add, as somebody who is in the process of learning how to flip, that I wouldn't recommend to try a backflip on a trampoline (without a spotter that knows what they're doing) if you have never tried backflipping before. Landing on your head on a trampoline can still cause some serious injury. I got some classes at a local parkour gym (or a gymnastics place should work too). Or you can start just by jumping off land into the water. Once you are confident you will get passed your head then you can move to the trampoline.

Would you say the rotation is more around the hips or the shoulder. I feel like I go around my shoulder and thats my problem. Not sure if that makes sense
