Hi Gingerman , Windsor hall is the home of the Orange order. Enjoyed the video.
Nice video Derek. Your keen getting up at 5am. Nice frosty morning
poem - flying into the sunrise
Thanks for visiting ma hame toon Gingerman! So many memories! I never really went up 'the Moss ' where you were walking. My haunt as a kid was ' doon the glen ' or the Barbauchlaw burn , next to the Mill garden centre that you that passed the sign for. Ma Maw used to work at the brickworks. Armadale has grown a lot since I grew up there, a lot of changes.
That was really interesting. You now need to visit the other Armadale... Great video as always. Keep up the good adventuring!
Great video. I recommend popping 2 miles West to the village of Blackridge. Home of Blawhorn Moss Nature Reserve. And I'm biased because it's my home town/village
Good video Derek, in the late 1980's Stock Car Racing was temporararily stopped at Cowdenbeath and the Racing took place at Armadale Greyhound Track. I was one of the Fifers that went to watch it there every Sunday afternoon for several years. I remember it as being a cold place. I don't know if the track is still there, it was on the left hand side of the road just as you went into Armadale from Bathgate. I didn't see much of the town and never realised that it was so highly populated.
Track still there, Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway race there now.
