Charissa how many hours do you see patients?
I see 10 patients a day on a staggered schedule - 2/2 hour appointments for new patients, SRP or In office whitening and 8/1 hour appointments for prophy, LSRP, perio maintenance
I have autonomy to move my schedule or extend appointments as needed
What’s the salary in assistant hygiene ?? How does the pay work, I’m based in Los Angeles ?
Thank you for the question, Yuliana! At ADS, our hygiene assistants are paid hourly with opportunity for bonus - we consider this an entry level position as there is no assistant training required (but obviously is helpful if they have been through a basic program). Bonuses are awarded based off of the collections brought in through hygiene to motivate the assistant to help keep the schedule full, educate patients toward enrolling treatment and create space and opportunity for same day perio therapy and adjuncts. -Charissa

@@yulianaviramontes6020 Ours is 15/hr I think plus benefits like 401k, health insurance etc. She does not bonus on our collections, but she does bonus when the whole office exceeds the prior year’s collections. There are several bonus tiers. -Brittany
