-5/8 Socket
-Cross Screw Driver
-Any Color Tint
- T5 bulb

Dang man! Good job looks hard to do , alot of little steps but seems like you did it pretty easy.
You can plug in your seat belt behind you to stop the dinging.

Hi, my son is starting repair on his 02 LS. Was in crash in July. Needs radiator support replaced. Do u know about doing that? It looks like large spit welds to hold part onto frame. Any thoughts?

On the kick panel on the passenger side is yet another fuse panel, so 3 in this car all total. There was a starter motor relay fuse was blown, 5 amp. Code came up as 204, the number for the fuse in the panel was #24, not sure if the code 204 is 20 for twenty, then 4 obviously for 4, but no problems, replaced the fuse and away she went, thanks for your input , Dennis

hi, I just found your videos. I am interested in Lincoln LS because my son has a 2002 LS v8. He's been learning how to do work on it, from UA-cam videos. Thank you for the videos you are posting. Lots of great information. they seem easy to follow. May I suggest a mechanic for you to watch, Scotty Kilmer. My son has learned enough from his videos that he was able to change valve cover gaskets, front brakes, and strut springs on all 4 wheels. Just put Scotty Kilmer in youtube search box. Thanks for the video's man. Always wanted to do this, but thought it'd be harder than this. Couple things! 1) why does the ac not need any resistors? 2) wouldn't the tint idea, like on the instrument cluster work for the temperature numbers??
The ac does not need a resistor because it already has some.and on the cluster tint it has a green plastic which i cut off and added the blue one.
Once you get the screws off to began pulling to get the whole cluster assembly, instead of taking it all the way out to get behind it could the plastic over the speedometer be taken off? I need to get the speedometer cluster off to change to a blue one.
Okay everything went well accept my gas and speed gauss aren't working easy fix or no?
For the gas do you remember where you had it last time. and for the speed you need to connect it and drive it if the pin does not go up you have to remove it and just put it back in.
Do you still have that dash? I'd buy it if you let me.
how come you did not do the right side with the blue tint

Yes The Needles Still Light Up But Becuase The White Light Is Very Bright It Makes It Look Like That.

Hello, I have an 03 ls v8. the information portion of the cluster (bottom right, rectangle area) is blank/black. Is there like 1 led that lights the entire area? The info center under the vents has already been replaced.

Hey man im doing the gauges right now and the leds have 2 lower prongs that are preventing them from going in the cluster. Did yours have this issue? I could get them in but id have to force them. Let me know...
You have to bend the little metals just a little bit and once they are in there, try to bend them back and lastly i advise you to put hot gun over the leds.
Same cluster, only new bulbs. I did not disconnect battery before I pulled cluster out, now ecu thinks car is being stolen, going to have it towed to buds shop.
Tried to disconnect battery, reinstall cluster, waited 30 mins to reconnect battery, still no go, f----n computer bull shit
That's really weird my Lincoln LS did not do that I have 01 what year is yours. I did not disconnect the battery when I was doing it. Does your car have a kill switch because mine does.
How many lights are in the cluster that fit the bulb you provided? I want to replace all of mine. Will a set of 10 do the trick?

No I didnt. Are you having that problem, if you changed out your cluster with a different one then your car wont start unless you add the same chip to the new cluster.

You need to make sure you remove all the plastic covers

I have a question. I recently had the radio replaced in my 01 Lincoln ls. It drove fine until the check traction control light came on and abs light came on. The car killed on me. Went to a place and let them charge the battery. It worked fine until it did it again. Could someone please help?
you need to check your wiring on your radio. you did you an aftermarket harness

Mine is a 2000, not sure about kill switch. Did 4 different theft stop remits, still nothing. made sure no pins on back of cluster were bent over and all 3 plugs from wire harness can only go in 1 place each ?????? Totally baffled, mine bud is a mechanic and going to use a scanner today to check to see wtf, later man.
If you look by your gas peddle ( It Is mounted on the plastic by your right knee) there should be a cable that has a chip connected to it. If that chip is not connected your car will not start.
would it be the same method for a 02 navigator ?
It's not hard at all, all you have to do is puch the little plastic in the middle of the plug and then pull.

Does changing the Airbag Light to LED cause any issues? I already have to replace that bulb as it is. Was going to go with LED but wanted to make sure that will not cause that 5 annoying dings from the computer non stop.

not sure if youve solved your issue yet but what you need to do is get a mechanic who isnt scared of tackling a messy job to have your "transmission valve body dropped" and tell them you need your "4-3pre stroke spring" replaced. check a company called Sonnax. they sell upgraded springs as the factory ones are prone to failure. i replaced all 6 springs since i was in there already....might as well do them all. its no REAL extra labor at that point.i bought all 6 for about 50 bucks!! my car has never shifted better!!! the hardest part is finding a trustworthy mechanic who doesnt mind doing the job. aside from springs you will need trans fluid and gasket.

I have the same issue with mine I have fixed it before I will try to make a video as soon as my parts come in.
to be more clear in the transmission you have a valve body and in the valve body there is spring also called the drive spring that spring tends to brake and gives you that problem. try doing this for me.
when your driving and the E Comes on, while driving put car on neutral and then turn key off and back to on. the engine will not stop the only thing that should happen is that you dash will turn off and back on. and the check if the E still appears if so let me know. it shouldn't tho
