You go all the way forward but instead of going to the arc you go super fast down the straight path and then hit the platform you spawn on to the left. This would give you enough momentum to then go to the other side and hop around to the goal. It was never a success every time so it took hundreds of attempts to see one perfect run.
Some very nice improvements I wasn't aware of. It looks like EX3 has some score WR potential. The EX5 strat is really creative. I thought M1 was really fast on the old TAS, lol.
+scrap651 The problem with the EX3 strat is the fact that it's perhaps harder to goal than any console IL strat, and after that you have about 5% chance to pick up 1 banana, not even speaking about 2 bananas. Also, I have a feeling you could get .43 in M3 on console with this kind of approach (speed not dropping below 12mph on the climb)
+byrz Yeah, It's funny to think that a strat so simple is probably in the top 5 hardest strats in the game. Kind of similar to my early cycle idea. How difficult is M2? I've tried getting a .48 on there before.
+scrap651 In M2 you have to drop a little earlier than normal for .48 but this also makes goaling very close to impossible. I'd say it's maybe possible on console by extensive dedicated grinding. Much easier than EX3, though.
