nice tutorial video!!! I belive the only big issue(sort of) for me is the rear body post mount(holes) if you want to fit your original/existing old CC-01/CR-01 bodies on CC-02 chassis , the length between CC-02 rear post(holes) is about 10mm wider/longer than CC-01, and the pole position are slightly backward compares to CC-01.
Yes, of course the body posts have to be modified or new made. In my opinion it would be the best way to not use the existing holes. Better to use magnetic holders and close the holes.
I agree with Bob Martin.. You can swap the mounts from side to side diagonally .you loose about 5mm which would give you what you need. the parts have numbers on them.the link is off set from the mounting holes. New video needed.
Thumbs up, Matteo. Excellent information and demonstration. I need to check the Land Cruiser and Landfreeder’s wheelbase now. Could be interesting if they could fit the CC-02.
Thank you for this very helpful video. I found a short wheelbase cc02 for a good price and I am thinking about buying it, but I have a quick question. Could it be made into a long wheelbase without modifications? (eg. changing links, driveshaft, etc) Thank you.
Great video, thank you. Can you recomend a chassis or adjustment for 260mm or 10.25 inch. I have a cool Alfa Romeo body I want to make a 4wd rally car.
Thanks! If so, you need to adjust the wheelbase by edit the length of your links. Because the CC-02 have rigid links you need complete new ones with a thread and so adjustable length.
Very clever! Brilliant! I'm just puzzling if a hard body D90 would fit (but isn't the wheelbase on those was 313mm though? Maybe the Tamiya D90 is smaller, there are variations in scale?).
I very much liked that information Matteo!! I still wish I could afford a CC02... 😞 I'm thinking, maybe Tamiya DESIGNED the latest CC01 Bodies in 245mm and 255mm - in readiness for the upcoming CC02 Chassis! It makes sense. 😉 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Looking good as always some of the best scale cars on the planet
Thank you Michael! 👍😊
Wieder einmal ein tolles & informatives Video von dir. Damit würde ich mit dem Landrover D90 und dem CC02 Chassis liebäugeln. Danke!
Danke! 👍😊
Thank you! I am looking to shorten CC 02 to fit a sand scorcher body, however the sand scorcher I think is 250mm
Matteo, could you swap the rear link mounts side to side so the arm mount points are closer to the gearbox and get an even shorter wheelbase?
I was thinking the same thing :) :) A ton of more wheelbase options if flipping the linkmounts :D
Yes, you're right, that's why I made a second video: ua-cam.com/video/sfuyA2UHvxU/v-deo.html
Thanks! 😊
Correct, I made a second video about this... Thanks! 😊
Great video! Nevermind about the Pajero body (because it has IFS in real life), but if the Defender body fits the CC02 then that is perfect 👍👍
Tamiya will release the Defender on the CC-02 chassis... tamiyablog.com/2021/09/tamiya-58700-land-rover-defender-90-4wd-cc-02/
Sould be relesed soon..

For this you will need a longer drive shaft.
Hi Matteo ! How to make 280mm long wheelbase from 267mm cc-02 ? Any idea ?
You need to build the links yourself, possible with tubes and threaded shafts. But you will need rod ends for mounting.
@@Matteomeier Thank you.

Hello Matteo, can we upgrade Tamiya Chasis CC02 to CC02?, would you help me?
Great info 😎
Thanks! 🙏 😊

D90 should have less than 313 wheelbase. Defender 110 should have 313 or a bit more. ua-cam.com/video/DH6hNVu9QBo/v-deo.html
j'adore , une super idee cette comparaison , de bonnes explications , merci
Merci mon ami Kaza! 👍👍😊

Very nice video man 😉👍
Thank you! 👍👍😊
Красивые модели!!!!💪🇷🇺👍
Большое спасибо! 🙏
I was changing my CC02 wheelbase to 245mm, but the body post still in 242mm. Dose anyone know this?
Yes, maybe you have to move the body posts also. Normally it's enough to change a bit the angle of the posts.

👍 Good to hear! 😊
Where’s the Honda CRV body??
I sold it! 😔😔
Matteo's RC Movies aww man think that body to Tamiya doesn’t make it or even have it anymore either. Well hopefully they re release it.
clever - und tolles Video :D
Vielen Dank Michael! 😊
I'm sorry, I mean, CC02 to CC01..
