In my opinion, one of my top 3 scout cosmetics has to be the ball kicking boots. Ever since I learned about it spawning in your very own personal ball to play around with, it was awesome, and on top of that the changes to footstep sounds are a nice touch.
the ball kicking boots were high on the list, but at the end they were harder to get and also just boots. But the offer of this cosmetic is great
@MisterDispenser yeah, the price is kind of what discourages it's use, but I got it on sale for only 5$ so it was worth it.
The actual best pocket buddy imo is clubsy the seal cuz its more noticeable and it can express the same emotions as engineer

Just for Nostalgia reason: Teddy Roosevelt. I fought so hard to get him at his release, that I even got a untradeble one in 2011 (turned into uncraftable) and I still have him in my inventory after 14 years. ❤

Woahhh thats the first time ive seen lord cockswains novelty mutton chops and pipe mentioned! I use it all the time in my lord cockswain soldier loadout. Great to see it get some attention.
I felt like sharing: the #1 worst for sniper should be even lower, cause realistically it does not even exist. It was indeed created for a DOTA tournament, however the winners of the event were not tf2 players and thus, never redeemed them, and never even existed in their backpacks

I have a contender for Heavy's worst as the Warmth Preserver cause if you turn Heavy around with it, the back is literally unfinished.

do people actually get their cosmetics by unboxing and crafting?????? it makes absolutely no sense to me for that to be almost a third of the points given when it should really be it's trading value compared to it's quality since thats the easiest way to get any specific item you would be looking for and a better item being harder to get could still be much more worth it than a cheap but bad item
thats why I put in the criteria of if it's crafted, dropped ect. Because many trade websites price the "craft hats" way lower, because so many people can simply get it or craft it while wanting a different hat. So ultimatly, many craft hats are "collateral damage" and fill up for example many trade bots. So because these existed for so long, essentially many of the craft/drop hats have been made, dropped (or even unboxed in the keyless crates) making the quantity higher of the hat, but the price lower bc there are so many of them.
The unbox-hat price is mainly the same, but ultimatly also bit different, bc it really factors in 3 things. How long has it been out/ how many people unboxed it at this point, how popular is it, and what grade does it have. So essentially these hats are always restricted to be bought on the market, unboxed(if you are lucky to get it) or bought for a higher price (exclusivity makes it higher priced) on trade websites. But because that would always be a disadvantage, I wanted to put in some unbox hats too, even tho it's essentially always higher value than craft hats.
Ultimatly, in my eyes a hat was good, or even perfect, if it's easy to get, therefor crafthats with 3 points, looking good (in my eyes) and have a lot to offer (like not just a small addition). Plus my "outstanding point" was always awarded to hats, that when I looked through the list, they just popped into my eye/ are recognizable as iconic.
